For now, I prefer to have ponies who are detectives, but it really depends. PM your character sheet and I will let you know if it works.

Whistleblower/Whispy/KAWAII-DOCTOR-CHAN~
Name: Dahlia Fury
Race: Earth Pony

Personality: Dahlia is a no nonsense pony with a take no prisoners attitude and she's certainly not afraid to speak her mind or bluntly point out other pony's mistakes. She is passionate about her duties as a detective and is quick to bring justice when it's needed.
Outside of work, she can come across as cold or distant, but after losing her partner years ago she feels the need not to get emotionally attached to anyone outside of her family. She is determined, driven, loyal and dedicated to her cause. She pays attention to the little details, but sometimes fails to see the bigger picture.
She doesn't have a lot of friends, and she's refused to have a partner since hers died. Her chipped ear serves as a reminder to her of the day she tried to save him and failed, and it drives her to be a better cop and a better pony.
Background: Dahlia is a native of Manehatten and has never left the city once as she has no need to do so. After schooling, she went on to pony police academy and became a beat cop on the streets, soon moving up the ranks over the years to become a detective with her first partner, Onyx Coal.
The two soon became very good friends, then grew even closer as they fell in love.
A few months after Onyx proposed to her, they were on a case to stop a dangerous pony in Manehatten from harming other ponies. They were ambushed, and despite Dahlia's efforts to save him, Onyx was taken down.
From that day on, Dahlia never grew close to anyone ever again, refusing to work with another pony out of fear that they would get killed again because of her. She still blames herself for Onyx's fate to this day, and has put a guard up around her heart, refusing for love to get in the way of anything now.
Skills: Being an Earth Pony, Dahlia has great strength, but also has good skills in perception and observation. She is good at studying facial features and vocal tones on ponies and can deduce whether or not they are lying-though this skill can have its setbacks and she's been wrong before in the past, but not enough to discredit her as a detective. She is resourceful, cunning, and a deep thinker as well.

Personality: Fun-loving, curious, has a liking for shiney things, funny, playful and adventurous
Background: Crystal is the daughter of a pony and a young dragon, she moved away to try and fufil her dream of becoming a very famous actress...
Skills: she is amazing at singing and acting, though she dose breath fire as well...she doesn't hurt anyone...intentionally

She seems interesting, but I don't think I like the idea of Rarity and Spike having a daughter. Usually prefer to keep the main characters out of it.
