A Very Mysterious Miss
Hello and welcome!
I've never been good at writing these introductions, so if you have questions please let me know. My name is Missy, I am 25 with a full time job but I try to post between once and three times a day. I will always let you know whats going on in my life, and will always understand when life happens on your end. Role playing is a hobby, and an escape from my day to day life. I consider myself to be semi-lit but I will work with all types of writers, as long as you give me something to work with.
It's likely that when I post I may be writing from my cellphone, so there may be grammatical errors from time to time.
I have a few ideas about what I'm looking for role play wise!
Human x Supernatural Being (non-romantic)
Ami Doe, a feisty teen living life on the streets, is known for being a bit strange by the locals. Despite multiple attempts by social services to place her in a home Ami always finds her way back to the great unknown with little more than a backpack of necessities. Her prized possession is a series of small notebooks full of charcoal drawings of odd and intriguing beings. She doesn't much like to talk to people, in fact, shes usually off talking to herself, at least that's how it looks to those who cannot see what she sees. Truth be told, Ami is usually talking to the otherworldly beings that she likes to draw. But perhaps not all these beasts are friendly.
This story would be a platonic relationship between Ami and a supernatural companion. What the companion is, is up to you (Such as ghosts, demons, a grim, a mythical creature etc.). The creature can do pretty much anything in the human world, but may not necessarily live in the human world. We can talk about the reasoning for these beings coming to the human world, and plot points along the way!
Human x Human (romantic or non)
Two characters wake up dazed and confused within a massive maze. The walls appear to be carved stone to resemble hedges, but the detail is eerily realistic as if the natural hedges themselves were petrified to stone. The only other item within the confined space is a large stone gargoyle fountain with gleaming ruby eyes. It speaks offering a brief explanation and a word of caution. Initial assessment is that both characters seemed to have been drugged and kidnapped, but neither remember by who, much less how to escape. The only thing they are sure of is that they need to work together to figure out the next step in their survival.
Written to be a little bit spooky, this role play will indeed have some supernatural aspects, obstacles and creatures. The story is inspired by the Labyrinth (a movie with david bowie), but takes on a much more Twilight Zone feeling. Pairings are dependent on what you're feeling, female x female, male x male, male x female, and can either be romantic of platonic. Because this isn't your every day hedge maze, there are plenty of possibilities towards plot and story building.
Damsel in Distress x Unlikely Hero
Daphne Dae is a Rapunzelesque Princess, locked away in the tallest tower due to a curse which makes her vulnerable. Rendered deaf and mute, the curse states that she must seek the help of someone who could hear the sound of silence and speak without uttering a word. An Adventure ensues between the two to find a way to break the curse, and find the evil being who cursed her to begin with, finding love learning what true magic is along the way.
I do envision this as a romance, I'm open to both male and female counter parts. I'm also open to this story line having sci-fi plot lines as opposed to fantasy. I do have a full starter setting the scene if you're interested.
The Lonely Vixen Story Line.
In a rundown tavern and inn far from civilization, frequented by vagrants, fugitives and deplorables, the whispers lead the desperate. The Lonely Vixen is rumored to be the most feared renegade mercenary out there, willing to take on the most difficult of tasks for the right price. She'll go solo or she'll fight by your side, but no matter what, she will not fail.
This world is post apocalyptic/post war. Survival is everyone's main goal, we all know what that can do to people. What happened to your character that they may need the help of a mercenary? I also have a written starter ready to go on this one.
