History
- 1???-2038
That order was carried out in the year of 2017, where the Peace Treaty was later enacted mid 2017. This made all Technicians and Demon Weapons cede and liable to one of the most important rules within the Peace Treaty: "'Never to slay a witch for her soul.." With this treaty in act, all workers of DWMA were held responsible for their actions in the case of a witch ever falling likely to the Pull of Magic. However it should be noted that after Witch Queen Maba and members of DWMA began integrating the wicken community back into the world, a large percentage of witches became less likely to fall to the Pull of Magic as well.
But that number could only grow so big. While not as many witches were liable to falling into the Pull like before, many were still susceptible and capable of falling into the magic's pull regardless. Not to mention there was also the fact that starting near the end of 2017, certain groups of Meisters and Weapons that didn't feel comfortable with the treaty began to retaliate against DWMA by leaving and forming mediocre factions in attempts to draw the organization back on what they considered the right path. With some witches still posing trouble to humanity in general and former members of DWMA posing their own problems, Lord Symmetry, Queen Maba, and diplomatic officials of various countries needed to come to a conclusion that would allow them to preserve the current friendly state with Wicken, without tainting both their and humanity's images of each other any further. To loop around this, HAWC was formed in February 7, 2018. It stands for the Herald of the Allied Witch Corps. A human, wicken, and supernatural organization created with Queen Maba and Lord Symmetry's thumb of approval, funded by Australia, the UK, Russia, China, Germany, and the US to aid members of EAT in tracking down those that broke the rules of the treaty and either terminating their existence or bringing them in without worry of punishment, from the UN. In which case a majority of the time the latter was hardly ever used due to excessive resistance.
Because of HAWC and other organizations that would follow it, the enrollment of EAT students began to gradually decline while the enrollment of NOT students began to double. Those that enrolled in DWMA for the EAT curriculum would still undergo training as usual, but the environment and atmosphere around these physical, mental, and emotional sessions would be different for years to come. And since Weapons and Meisters were forbidden from harvesting a witch's soul, a new curriculum would be added in August of 2018, with the help of witches from DWMA itself to push the government for the magic based curriculum to be added for the humans they'd come to learn could also utilize magic.
N1: Members of the Witch Assembly also voted for this magic curriculum to be added to DWMA
N2: It is important to know that Meisters and Weapons for the first two years, were not allowed to hunt the people of the Wicken community without a actual Witch being a part of the team.
- 2039-2053
In July 3rd of 2044, information from a Polish DWMA Intelligence Agency confirmed rumors of underground activity traversing the world in search of more members to join its unknown cause. Increased investigation in this would prompt war almost five years later which in turn would result in a influx of the EAT curriculum entirely. As rumors grew about this supposed mythical organization people began asking questions. What was their purpose? What was their intention? And how did DWMA see this new organization and the gossip that began rising. These concerns from denizens would later draw attention to leading officials. These officials, would go on to ask DWMA what they knew about this, and DWMA would later begin investigating these rumors from scratch. All starting in its origins, Queensland, England.
Once the organization had been discovered, and DWMA had begun uncovering facts the damage had already been done. Members of the UN had been tipped off by an anonymous tip that all this trouble was being caused by Witches in an attempt to get retribution for their exile. That humans were just being strung along by the wicken community and this was all just an attempt to get on their good side in order to conquer them from within. And while many were skeptical, some were foolish enough to buy the bait. A gifted team of unique individuals was formed, in preparation to face this new 'threat', and it would be that very team's actions that ended up causing Queen Maba's death and instigating a three way war of which the likes none had ever seen.
Following the time after the war had ended rates began to rise for EAT students. Changing its initial rate of 10% to 16 within the span of just seven months. Over the following years after the war, Renegade's dissolve, and the Big Bang Strike, both EAT and NOT would gain a rise in students of which neither DWMA or Witches could have ever predicted.
- Present Times
Crescent Moon
Quarter Moon
Half Moon
Full Moon
Of these classes, Meisters, Weapons, and Mages are most of the time generally separated. Mages are mostly focused in the Magi Curriculum which focuses on magic theory, the manipulation of magic, and how magic is to be used and utilized properly. Albeit it is not unheard of for the three groups to all be located in the same classes as well as in the same groups. For instance, a majority of magic users ranging from humans who were born with the ability to manipulate magic to witches, full-time enchanters, and other mana manipulators who have chosen to be part of the EAT curriculum as Meisters (or those that are of Weapon race), reside in the Quarter Moon Class. It is one of the largest classes, aside from Crescent Moon

EAT Curriculum
-
E. A. T
EAT or the Especially Advanced (Advantaged) Target is a governmental military focused curriculum under the control of Death Weapon Meister Academy otherwise known by its organizational name as DWMA. Students within EAT are known for being the most powerful or formidable students within the school.
Courses
The EAT Curriculum, just like the Magi, and NOT curricula, also have classes accessible between the two other curriculum. Although, obviously not every class/course will be available to those that are in those specific curriculum.
Soul Studies
Also known as Plasmology is the study of the soul, which is the spiritual or immaterial element of a living being. Here at DWMA, the souls of various beings are studied profusely, just like any other subject. Both EAT and NOT class are required to take these lessons. Magi class has the option of taking this if they wish.
N3: More information will be applied on this and other curriculums in Archives
Battle Arts
In addition to Soul Studies, lessons can pertain to that of battle, such as lesson on Soul Wavelength Synchronization. Lessons pertaining to battle and fighting are called Battle Arts. Only the E.A.T. & Magi class partake in Battle Art Lessons.
Remedial Lessons
Remedial Classes are lessons in which failing students take if they've not collected any souls and/or haven't complete any missions within the span of a week and three-day period. This differs depending on the rank and what division a particular Meister, Mage, or Weapon falls under. Faculty & Staff obviously do not apply to this.
One Star
- Omega
Omegas are required to take remedial classes if they fail to complete their final test and evaluation if they fail even once, on Soul Resonance. They must retake the test again within a month, and have collected 12 corrupted souls (Kishin Eggs).
- Elite
Elites are to take remedial classes if they fail Combat Theory, have more then eight absences from Intense Training & Practice, and fail the importance of teamwork and understanding by the end of their Elite year. They must capture forty Kishin Eggs, and work in a team outside of the state for one entire month, after they have retaken combative theory.
Special Privileges
Unlike NOT students, EAT & Magi Students gain a large plethora of special privileges in comparison to the other curriculum.
Licence
Both EAT and Magi students are not required to be of legal age or hold a license to drive any sort of vehicle be it for a mission or outside school grounds. However restrictions are made so that this does not become a problem, again. For example a Beta 12 yr old cannot fly a jet without clearance and authorization from that airline service.
Authorized Public/Private Property Access
Students of either EAT or Magi, both have the ability to enter unauthorized areas usually closed off to people or workers at a given time or due to general political or popular status. The level of entry to certain areas and how far they can go through these places however depends on the mission, their rank, and the level of danger said mission possess.
Assistant Aide
In addition, they can be occasionally called to help out the NOT Class as a sort of mentor like that of the staff.
Missions
Lastly, as E.A.T. Students and Magi Students, they are allowed to partake in missions that involves the hunting of corrupted human souls (Kishin Eggs), participating in team units, hunting, capturing, or defeating Rogue Witches and Rogue DWMA members, as well as their associates.
Basics on Missions
Missions are undertaken exclusively by the E.A.T. and Magi student body outside of the academy and are considered perilous journeys that can and have involved the loss of life or severe injury. People who go on these quests are often also collecting and trying to attain 99 souls of evil humans on Shinigami's list. However in the case of remedial classes or certain missions Souls may be taken from the group by a member of the staff.
Items that are requested in missions by DWMA are also taken away from students once the mission has been completed successfully.
The quests are organized into different ranks; each student also has a rank. Depending on their corresponding position within their own sub-rank, they are allowed to take on missions suited for them and no more. These quests are organized by the Receptionist as well as N.O.T Students in order by rank.
Ranking
The E.A.T curriculum, like the Magi curriculum follows a specific ranking system. Ranking is also evaluated in classes, based off of Physical Ability, Speed, and Academic accomplishment.
Teams
Within the student body in the EAT Class, students are normally put into teams consisting of three Meisters and a varying number of Demon Weapons depending on the type of Meister. These teams are put together by the staff based on their capability of resonating with one another, with the staff members also picking the team's leader.
In some cases depending on missions Magi students may be put into these teams. However it is only temporary and rarely ever permanent, as they have their own teams as well.
Elite Units
In response to an event such as the kidnapping of an important DWMA member or an underlying threat, a elite unit of EAT & Magi Class students may be put together that specializes in dealing with specific situations by the staff members and headmaster.
All accounts in terms of personality, growth in training, and soul compatibility to form a resonance are accounted for, when these teams are made.

NOT Curriculum
-
N.O.T
NOT or the Normally Overcome Target curriculum, is the academic focused curriculum that focuses more on academics and general academy activity, outside of a few lessons taught and accessible between the EAT and Magi curriculum. N.O.T is a curriculum meant for non-combatants. In many ways the NOT curriculum is both EAT's Magi's polar opposite. Where students in the EAT and Magi curriculum are virtually trained agents, students that partake in the N.O.T curriculum are not meant to be fighters, but trained to pursue academy based endeavors of a higher degree. Here students do not share all the same lessons as those in the EAT and Magi do and the same can be said vice versa, as their courses or academic fields stretch more towards a general middle school, high school, and community college level.
Contrasts
Unlike EAT students who are taught how to fight in a serious battle and can become literal members of a militia if need be, NOT students do not receive the same level of training and if anything have a more toned down version that comes only to a fraction of what EAT students endure since the reconfiguration after the war.
Magi students in comparison have a more difficult training schedule since in comparison to NOT students as they are taught the basic forms of magic in both Offense and Defense, before picking a field in which they are interested in. NOT Students merely have to maintain fitness and health regularly.
That isn't to say however that NOT students are not taught how to seriously handle themselves in a fight if the need ever arises, they just aren't taught under the same level of strictness or open to many of the various fighting arts that are available in the EAT division.
Ranking
While N.O.T students undergo minor training on a lesser scale, they are still an academic focused curriculum instead of a athletic field or military based one. Therefore, they do not have a ranking system.

Magi Curriculum
-
Magi
Magi or also called the Field of Mana Manipulation is the wicken orchestrated and DWMA approved curriculum that focuses on aiding witches, enchanters, various other races, and humans that have the innate ability to manipulate mana. It's primary focus was once on teaching how to avoid the Pull of Magic no matter how weak or strong it may seem, but after its reactivation from a 2 year hiatus after 2050, it has broadened it's focus on teaching various other forms of magic as well.
History
Prior to the Rebel War, DWMA and wicken kind, had been working together to integrate witches that wished to integrate back into the world. At first very few witches left the realm of Maba's craft. Fear, doubt, and cynicism, as well of centuries of history couldn't be forgotten in such a short period of time. It blinded them to the possibilities of a truly friendly relationship with their other half, but as the saying goes :
"They'll see with time."
It would take the generation of Young Witches, two in fact, to make the first step that would goad their peers into following them. Improving relations between humans and wicken kind significantly. Young Witches integrated into society were of course not taken to or accepted as quickly as anyone had expected but with time, things began to change. By the time the Peace Treaty had been enacted, humans had hesitantly and slowly begun warming up to the idea of witches joining their society once more after so many centuries of exile, suffering, pain and hate. That was propelled when the few witches of an older generation, sensed the latent potential of magic within certain humans that seemed to carry the element of the Magic around them.
It was through this discovery that the idea of creating a magic curriculum was proposed. And by the end of 2017, the idea had been executed and made into a reality. The Magi curriculum was born, and it focused on aiding the few number of humans that seemed to carry the innate ability to manipulate magic outside of the other communities.
Special Privileges
Like the students of E.A.T, Magi students have virtually the same level of clearance as any other EAT student would. Their privileges include:
Ranking- License
- Authorized Public/Private Property Access
- Assistant Aide
- Magical Artifact Observation
Ranking in the Magi curriculum follows the same style and system as the E.A.T & N.O.T curricula
-
The E.A.T curriculum, has four classes. This is the generally known information based on these classes and its inhabitants.
- Crescent Moon
-
The class which Kid the First, the Last Death Scythe, Soul Eater, Scythe-Meister Maka Albarn, Bushin Warrior Black☆Star, and Princess Tsubaki, all graduated from. Due to its famous inhabitants, the Crescent Moon class, is full of young technicains and weapons who aspire to perform great feats like their predecessors had so many years before.
- Full Moon
-
Full Moon Class, is renown for having students who rarely gain partners at what would be usually considered a normal time. Its members have been known to go without a partner for quite sometime, but usually before its inhabitants have reached a Two Star status. Very few meisters and Weapons have actually gone longer than this without a partner, and in certain cases staff and faculty have had to play their hands in order to manipulate partnerships to blossom.
- Quarter Moon
-
The class of mana manipulators. Magic users or gifted whom aspire to become Technicians are the most abundant in this class. It has been known to be the class, that acquires the most mana manipulators that desire to become Technicians and perform wondrous feats like Kim Diehl and Angela Leon.
- Half Moon
-
A class full of the unique and almost somewhat eccentric. Half Moon, has been known to attract students of surprisingly different variations in terms of skill and innate ability. Its class has been known to carry beings of surprisingly unique wavelengths or soul manipulators that differ entirely from the type it is categorized under and its students have been known to dabble in various forms of different arts as well.

An organization formed by Kid the First and several of his associates, the late Witch Queen Maba, and her most trusted members within the formerly known authority, Witch Order now called Third Eye. H.A.W.C's primary purpose was to hunt down witches that had given into the Pull of Magic and were too late to save by decree of their crimes depending on the state or country. It's members were and are given free reign, to investigate any area they see fit that harbors traces of magic without any authorization, due to the weight they carry by authority of the U.N.
The organization itself is an amalgamation of humans, and the magic community. It has only recently begun gaining one or two members of few rarely seen species.
Originally focused on only magic related issues, H.A.W.C over time began turning its attention to certain unique supernatural events involving magic. The organization itself, is still heavily magic based and focuses more on magic based issues and problems than anything else. It's primary functions involve locating magic related problems, tracking magical disruptions across the globe and revealing the general source of its location, as well as ensuring that magical incidents do not cause nationwide harm or pandemonium.
