Hello, everyone, I got an idea recently for an AU where the main characters of Miraculous Ladybug all attend a boarding school or college instead of their normal high school. This school has its own unique mysteries and properties, with one of them being a secret program for Miraculous wielding superheroes. However, due to a recent incident, some of the Miraculous have gone missing, and are being used for evil purposes. You will play as a new student at this school, who may receive one of these miraculous to combat the akumatized villains that form in the school, take on superhero missions outside of this school, and solve mysteries surrounding the school and the missing Miraculous. You can also spend time around the school, making friends, joining other clubs, catching up on schoolwork, and maybe even finding that special someone. While I have a few ideas as far as plot direction, I would like to keep the course of this rp open to players. If anyone is interested in helping me run this RP, please PM me about it. - Most of the time (at least early on) you will be hanging around the school's campus when you're not out on a mission. There's a few places where one can be alone on campus, and there will be opportunities to hang out outside the main campus area, so don't get too concerned about being stuck in one place.
- There will be a different Hawk Moth in this RP than in canon due to differences in how the Miraculous are distributed and in some attempt to have a mystery.
- Missions may involve more than stopping a single supervillain if we have a high number of players.
- Some other canon characters may have slightly different roles, though most of the kids at least will be functionally the same.
- Canon characters will likely be involved if we have enough people willing to roleplay major characters (Marinette/Ladybug, Adrien/Chat Noir/Cat Noir, Alya, Nino, etc). Canon characters should be somewhat "in character", but you can also have them develop or change a way that is also believable. If you have doubts, try checking the wiki or the show for information about the character you're planning on playing as.
- OCs are allowed and may also become Miraculous users. However, please try to avoid Mary Sues or Anti-Sues and characters that exist solely to be paired with a Canon character. Make strong, independent OCs!
- Most posts should be at least two lines long. Even passive characters can do something.
- Try to avoid autohitting/autododging every time, and don't godmod/be extremely OP with your supersona's abilities.
- If you want to play as multiple characters, you will be allowed up to 4 characters. not counting your kwamis separately. This number may change depending on who's all interested.
- I won't require too much detail per post as long as you're characters are doing something for most of the rp.
- Nothing overly sexual or gory, at least not in detail. Don't forget about this website's own rules and fade to black if your scene really calls for such.
- Be respectful with your fellow rpers when talking ooc.
- Always be sure to communicate with another roleplayer if you are planning to have your oc and theirs form a long or serious relationship in the rp..
- Don't be afraid to communicate with the GM (me) if you have any problems or any ideas for things you want to see happen in this rp.
