The well-dressed man is humming a bizarre tune, and for whatever reason, you can't seem to help but sing lyrics in your head as you listen.
The packages in your hands are heavier than they look. Silver boxes, covered in tiny filigrees of vines and apples, they each possessed large locks, which seemed to be the reason for the majority of their weight
"I've seen a dozen brass bands play and swing, while little children laugh, dance, and sing"
He smiles as he tips his head to you, sipping from a wineglass each time your minds seem to ring with music from some deep recess of your mind
"I've seen old men drunk singing the blues, with top hats', canes and spectator shoes"
As if on cue, J's voice pierces his own humming as he sings in a hushed tone
"I consider myself lucky to have fallen in love, with a girl, a city and the river of mud"
He sets down his glass, stops his humming and clasps his hands together, drinking in the group before him with a smile "So, any questions before I give you all the address and set you loose upon this poor, poor unsuspecting city?"

'They' would soon, more or less, wander into the situation. They'd been roving the streets for hours after their sudden appearance and for the most part had been ignored or avoided. 'They' might've pursued a person in another setting but here there were simply to many people... way to many in fact, the sheer volume of individuals overwhelmed 'They' as they wandered about. Nonetheless as 'They' wandered around the creature would eventually find the bar known as Cocytus, seeing it have an influx of people entering and leaving it more so than building around it. This attribute of the building gave it reason for investigation within 'Their' mind, and so the albino creature would then promptly travel over and ask the first person it saw at the entrance, most likely the bouncer,

"Query; What is this place, What is purpose, Why do entities enter?"

'They' spoke this question without a mouth, it's words and so-called voice carrying a sharp sensation with it, to those who'd listen to it. It stood there, waiting now for a response, It's monotone skin shining somewhat in the nearby ambient light.

Reimu became interested from the proposal. Let loose on this unsuspecting city? Is it terrorism? Mass youkai extermination? Curious, she asks "What's in the place you will discribe?"

"The packages contents aren't something I can truly disclose at this time, but suffice it to say, I'm offering a product the customer cannot refuse" he smiles and spreads his hands slightly, the creature at the door of Cocytus appearing before him in a blink alongside the group as he smiles "You're quite the oddity indeed, friend" he smiles as a silver box was placed into their hands too by one of the servers "The location should be an office building uptown, 'GPS inc' I believe" he smiles leaning against the bar as he scans the group before him "Anything else anyone would like to ask?"

'They' paused, and then jerked slightly as they registered they were somewhere else entirely. The creature just lowly echoed out, "Confusiooooonnnnn..." As they began looking around at their new surroundings. They then paused as a box was placed into their hands just as their message was trailing off to it's end. 'They' would however then look up to the man as they made his offer to answer questions. As they were prior interrupted 'They' would then again attempt to ask,

"Query; What is this place, What is purpose, Why do entities enter?"

Stilling once more for a moment 'They' would then inspect the package they now held slightly, they tilted it, shifted, and weighed it in their large... hands? This then prompted them to further ask, "What is the purpose of this task."

The man smiles slightly as the creature addresses him, a soft glow coming from one of his hands as he places to their shoulder "This is Canaan, a small exclusive club within the main establishment Cocytus, which is also a bar" soft warmth came from his hand, as he shared telepathically to the creature what these words meant "People usually come here to drink and socialize" he smiles as he removes his hand, gesturing to the box "I need you and the others to carry these boxes to the man who purchased their contents, in exchange, each of you will receive a gift from me, as I informed Pallet, I'm not the best off financially, but I'll do what I can for each of you, this job will pay well enough that I will have plenty of money for further jobs"

As the man would try to relay such information to 'They' there would be some difficulty. Such information was imparted nonetheless but approaching 'Their' mind was a small difficulty, it's first layer somewhat approachable but anything more than that was comparable to a ball of glass and needles, and to approach it was an easy source of discomfort. Their mind was very alien compared to the average person and much of their mannerisms were hard to understand. Such was the case to of them imparting their own information as well as it was a sharp and bitter message to receive, grating to hear.

In response however, after receiving all of this information, all 'They' had to say was, "Gift?" Curious they seemed to what they might gain from this presented task.

Vitan was there in a slouch, as usual, rubbing her left cheek as she watched the two lovebirds bicker about some dumb nerd shit. She didn't care much about the conversation between these two weirdo's but she listened anyway in case there's something important that comes out of their mouths. Vitan looked down at the silver box she was carrying with a spark of curiosity in her eyes when she heard J's comment. What could be in this box? The world may never know! It's a complete mystery!! She doubts it's drugs, the packaging is too weird. She leveled the silver box to her right ear and carelessly shook it to hear what's inside. Vitan doesn't want to live her life getting bugged by the thought of not knowing what's inside this box.​

The box in Vitan's hands jingled softly as it was shaken, and while it may have seemed like a careless thing to do, J gave no indication the action was forbidden or looked down upon, in fact, he smiles slightly, shaking his head at the simplicity of the action "You'll all be made aware of the delivery's importance once the job is finished, but revealing it now would simply pose too much of a risk to all of you" he turns back to the strange creature, crossing his arms slightly as he looks it up and down "Something you need" he explains, before turning on his heel, and retrieving an envelope from the bar.

Turning back to the group, he offers the envelope, to no-one in particular "This is where I need the package taken, it's only a short trip, but you mustn't reveal the package to anyone, or tell anyone who you're working for, or where you're going." he looks at each of them as if awaiting confirmation that they understood the risks associated with carrying out this task, and the utmost requirement for secrecy.

'They' remained as they had been, a towers being of pure milky white, of which their shape and skin somewhat blended together from the pure lack of variation or features. Other than that however their new question, from their seemingly endless amount, was

"Secrecy, Goal; Difficulty expected, traditional method ineffective... Package moisture resistant?"

They would then wait, head tilting as the creature seemed to be thinking up some solution, perhaps one against their size... after all asking such a creature to not stick out like a sore thumb was... well it was challenging task to say the least.

Having lost a vast majority of his strength, Evolt could only toss and catch the silver box handed to each and single one of the Cocytus bargoers who attended a couple of short inches in the air repeatedly. It didn't even flip around in the air even with all his current might. Though he wasn't complaining, it's fun to do this. He hummed along to the tune that was being sung by the old man before being asked if there's any questions. He didn't really have any questions, the task was relatively simple. Take the packages and deliver them to the 'client'. It's kinda basic if you know where you're going. Except, well, he doesn't know this city very well...

"I have one, chief." Evolt raised his hand, "Is there a time limit here? Like, does our client expect this thing in how long?"

Glancing at his wrist at Nero's question, J furrows his brows "I believe he- we have a number of days" he says "So, it's best if you can get the package to his place of work before they close, which should give you a few hours, it's only a few blocks, so if you don't dally, you'll get there with time to spare, you're free to interrogate him once the goods are in his possession" he smiles and steps behind the bar, leaning against it and pouring himself another glass of wine "Now I'm afraid I'm out of time for pleasantries, the envelope has the address you'll need to go to, and a phrase you'll need to say so he knows you're with me"

With that, he lifts the glass from the bar and disappears from sight behind one of the workers in the bar, vanishing as if into thin air once out of sight. It seems you were now officially on your own to carry out the job. The envelope would open on its own after a few seconds if no-one else opened it, the letters projecting into the air in whatever language the person viewing it spoke primarily.

Vitan heard the jingle and took another look at the box with an arched eyebrow. Interesting. She looked back at J when he started to talk again. She listened as always with the guy saying it's too dangerous to reveal whatever they're delivering which made Vitan worry. Whatever's in the boxes better not be the missing parts of a nuclear warhead or something like that. She stayed quiet for most of the conversation until he disappeared and the envelope was left there.

Armerstrannie slowly reached for the envelope only for the thing to start opening itself, making Vitan pounce away from surprise. She sighed after realizing it was nothing to worry about and stared at the words for a while before cupping her chin and reading it all.

"Haha, I forgot I can't read." Vitan casually joked. "You guys finished reading it? I wanna pocket it to make sure I won't forget where we're going."​

"Hey, how much are w-" As Dandy was about to ask a question, he watches the man disappear from sight, and just like that he's left with more questions than before. "Hey! Ain't gonna come back and explain" he says in a raised voice with a concerned tone, all while waving his hands to get attention such as someone would do in an emergency. As if nothing happened, Dandy turns back around and all of his attention is drawn towards the now, opened, projecting letter which he instantly starts reading. "Hm, interesting, very interesting, indeed" he says under his breath with his fingers under his chin "500 Dollars?!" he reads loudly, almost jumping in excitement. While getting over his excitement, he hears a girl speak "You guys finished reading it? I wanna pocket it to make sure I won't forget where we're going." which leads Dandy to turn towards her and start speaking "Do you need help with directions, by chance?".

Vitan was alarmed by the man approaching him, backing away instinctively before he asked if she needed help. Armerstrannie had no idea why she got so scared of him. He looks completely harmless. Vitan rubbed the back of her head before nodding. She has no sense of direction and she knows this by experience after getting lost in a Grocery Store and the workers had to escort her to her sister when she broke into tears after trying to find the exit until the store closed. That happened not so long ago and it's a memory that Vitan would like to forget.

After getting a response Dandy suddenly looks up with a confused face, he places his right hand on the back of the head and starts scratching "I wasn't actually expecting you to allow me, erm" he says looking even more confused while trying to figure out what to do and say "I don't exactly know where it is now... But it shouldn't be too hard to find, right?" he then says with a smile on his face after figuring out what to say. Dandy looks around at the other people who will be assisting this "delivery" and then says "This should be easy peasy, that address is inscribed into my brain. We'll find it definitely. You can keep that letter on you but it won't help me".

Wow, this guy is a clown. She loves it! Vitan smiles slightly and grabbed the envelope just in case it's needed. This man might claim that he can remember it but Vitan's paranoia is telling her he's going to forget so why not take it with her? She's just making sure nobody forgets. She pocketed the envelope in her hoodie before walking towards the exit with a slouch, package in hand. She takes a look back at the crew and beckons them to follow by nodding her head towards the exit. This is just a quick delivery job with nothing to be afraid of.

At the entrance, Vitan could see a small golden thread snake out of the pocket that contained the envelope, it swirled in the air a few times, before forming into an arrow, that pointed out a large building several blocks away. It seemed she had the choice of how to get to the office building.

1) Vitan could head straight there
2)Vitan could head there taking a few side streets to make it harder to follow her, but take longer to arrive
3) Vitan could loop around to the left, taking longer to arrive but avoiding anyone who might lay in wait along the straight path
4)Vitan could...Go through the sewers, and avoid everyone on the surface, but smell like a box of dead rats

She could, of course, always ask Dandy to tag along, while the job did seem to encourage keeping your distance from other packages, safety in numbers was also a viable strategy.
Dandy, of course, had all the same options, and he was free to head in whichever direction he wished.

'They' seeing as the job had become underway, would turn to leave, setting out as they held the box tightly grasped in their hands. They would exit the club waiting for further instruction now as they were curious to how their package would give them the directions needed to deliver it. The giant milky white creature looked around as they waited, assuming they had the same directions as the other people however they would begin to move. 'They' seeing as their objective was to deliver the package would just head straight their, putting the package in their mouth for the time being as it was the best concealing storage they had at this moment. Otherwise they'd just go on, probably not able to stick out any more than they already did.

Vitan straightened up when she saw the thread, watching it swirl in the air before turning into an arrow pointing at some building. It can't be that easy, there has to be a catch! Somebody must want to take this package from us while hiding from the shadows! She has learned to second guess everything in her life after her experiences even if nothing bad is going to happen. She can't even go outside of the house most of the time because she keeps thinking somebody will kill her! So, the obvious way to get there is by going through the sewers!

Letting your delusions get the best of you is obviously a smart way to live life!

"Yo, guys! Let's make it there with the sewers to make sure nobody sees us!"

Dandy raises the box to his face and starts to move it around, shaking it, and playing around with the lock. After awhile he gives up and looks towards the woman and conveniently a thread started to morph into a arrow pointing towards a direction, which left Dandy confused at first. "If that arrow's doing all the thinking" he purses "My brain has space for other information, baby!" he then says while starring at woman and the envelope thread with a smile on his face. Shortly after the woman speaks "Yo, guys! Let's make it there with the sewers to make sure nobody sees us!" which made Dandy remember the weird noises he heard from the back of the truck, which made him think the streets are dangerous. "I'll come with you, you never know what's down there. let's get going." he says while his thumbs pointed towards himself with a heroic smile. (Dandy chooses Option 4)

As 'they' began moving forward, the path ahead would seem mostly devoid of real dangers, barring the few insidious looking locals, who gave the creature long glances, perhaps confusion, perhaps wariness, perhaps lust, who could tell? The street was lined with alleys, and after passing by one, an individual pokes his head out, staring at the creature for a long moment, before stepping out of it silently and beginning to follow 'them'

Meanwhile Vitan and Dandy wouldn't have a hard time finding a manhole, but how would they open it? As they might begin pondering over such a question, the thread floating alongside them swirled a few times, before wrapping around the manhole and lifting it up. It seemed like J had given them a small measure of assistance with overcoming obstacles, how kind of him!

The sewers stank but seemed safe enough, and surprisingly, they seemed mostly dry. Perhaps this section of sewer was just for rain drainage. How fortuitous for the pair, they wouldn't need to step in any human waste today!

This thread is a huge help. She's got to say. Basically does the job for ya! She hops down on the hole, landing belly first on the floor before pulling herself up. She looks up at the guy accompanying her with a glare that says 'That never happened'. Vitan covered her nose once the smell kicked in and examined the area with her other arm wrapped around the silver box. She gives Dandy enough space to jump down on, awaiting his arrival. He and the thread are going to be the two leading her since I already said that she has no sense of direction. She couldn't find her way outside of a living room even if she tried.​

Dandy looks down the manhole and takes one breath and jumps, he screams while holding the box tightly "This was a" he lands "terrible id-" he realizes he landed "oh". Dandy returns the 'That never happened' stare. After taking a moment to look around and notices he was in fact inside a sewer, and all the smells hit him at once, he covers his nose and starts to talk to Vitan "Couldn't they have afforded an air freshener or something?" He takes a look at her arrow and points towards it "Let's get going. I'm not letting this smell get the better of me".
