What is Millennium City?

Close your eyes and imagine the grandest technological utopia, blossoming with scrawling skyscrapers that peak the very stratosphere. An aura of grandeur vibrated through the city streets, each diverse member of the vast society entertained by their wealth and luxury. The wealth and luxury that you grasp at yet never truly achieve.

And yet... You were here regardless. You weren't dead, nor dying. You were... Alive and well. But why would that be? If the standards of this world were far beyond you, why would you be here?

Isn't that a funny question? Why are we all here? Perhaps the answer to that isn't what you need. Perhaps what you need is to get working, for the city is ever-so-slowly growing impatient with you.

But now isn't the time for threats or enigmatic introductions. Without further ado...

Welcome to Millennium City.

The main feature of Millennium is the “Quest” system which consists of the main storyline orchestrated by the Lore-Masters and staff and side-quests created by the GMs or roleplayers seeking to enhance the Millennium experience.

1.) Abilities: Your character will be rendered almost completely mundane, though you will be able to retain a single ability/weapon/piece of equipment from your character's fiction. However, if deemed overpowered, the staff can reduce the effectiveness of the power/gear. You can regain abilities or earn brand new ones through the purchase of Power Orbs and Ability Orbs. Currency can be earned by completing quests.

2.) No god-modding, power-gaming, auto-hitting, or meta-gaming. Any attempts to do so will be met with punishment.

3.) No ERP permitted, simple as that.

Bio: Mila's spent her life in the wilds of Sinnoh, until winding up in Millennium City somehow, also as a human.

Attributes: They are a hive mind organism that starts off as a collection of blue biomass and or creatures. They are one being and one mind but connected to multiple produced bodies and structures. They can build a hive and spread biomass, allowing them to store their consciousness and create new bodies and adsorb new traits aswell. They have the potential of strong psionics and have a inhuman mind capable of easy multitasking. Beyond that their exact form may change.

Chosen Ability: Hive mind/Basic Psionics. Controlling their biomass and light telepathy and mental connections.

Personality: They are curious and energetic as well as a little flightly and childish, although that maybe because of their juvenile nature.

Bio: They are the offspring of a previous Birion cluster, a new sentience created from one, another way of expansion and a stronger way to promote a legacy. Taken from wherever they were before they now have found themselves in Millenium City with little to no memories and nothing but their nature and body.

  Personality:
  Niwatori is shown to be a very cheerful, bubbly and innocent character. She's quick to apologize and acts timid and nervous around unfamiliar or new faces, alongside this; Niwatori is often portrayed as gullible and slightly stupid, seen as someone who can be abused and pushed about by others. Always chattering and talking whenever possible, she enjoys lightening up the mood through being kind and by looking pretty. Overall, she's a cheerful individual who's seen to be quite talkative.
  Despite seeming quite naive, she is actually shown to be fairly cunning and cruel. She has no problem killing, betraying and perpetrating; making her a perfect spy. It is near impossible to tell whether Niwatori is showing off her genuinely cheerful personality or if she is upholding her behavior with darker intentions at mind.
  
  These contrasting personalities end up classing Ryouka as somewhat of a sociopath. She's genuinely cheerful and even friendly to her enemies, joking around with them and always smiling even during their darkest moments. She is often very selfish, only acting and thinking for herself so that she always comes out with the best result in every situation. stated that she knew what other people were probably going through, but as far as she was concerned, they were all just stepping stones. She even states that she knows what other people are probably going through, but as far as she is concerned, they are all just stepping stones. She even outright says that she considers the rest of the world as "no-name extras" compared to her. Niwatori is someone who enjoys 'Cherry Tapping', involving defeating her opponents in some of the most humiliating, crushing and painful ways possible; enjoying crushing her competition and standing tall above those who cross her.
  
  Despite all of this, she lacks a heavy sense of self-purpose and struggles with several side-effects that come alongside her type of work. After being ordered for near what appears to be her whole life, she always claims that she fights only for herself; but she had always been fighting for others, despite knowing the truth compared to all the people she had lied to, she had been living a lie. With all of this giving her a deep internal lack of confidence (despite her outgoing positive personality), and after years of duplicity, she herself finds it hard to tell friend from foe, developing a chronic backstabbing disorder.
  
  When she feels over-stressed, she likes to go to a hot spring, and she's always a little bit happier when her battles take her near a spa resort where she can relax and de-stress. Her favorite food being slow-cooked eggs in hot spring water.
  
  Bio:
  Ryouka has green hair and a matching pair of green eyes. As a child, her hair was barely shoulder-length and her skin was fairly pale. Due to the abuse, she bore many bruises and scars all over her body as a child. After she was taken in, her appearance drastically became healthier. During the 12th Zodiac War, she wore a revealing outfit similar to a samba costume. The color scheme of her outfit consists the color vermilion, orange and green. A fan of feathers was worn on her right side of her head and a thick coated cape with a yellow heart shape located in the center-piece covered her red top alongside two long red feathers located in the front of her crotch in a X shape, like a feather bikini. Her boots were thick coated with red fur until to her foot which appears to be a light shade of brown.
  
  
  
  
  Throughout her early childhood, Ryouka was the victim of abuse so abhorrent that words would fail to describe it. The abuse that Ryouka suffered was so severe that it caused trauma-induced amnesia, meaning that her brain intentionally forgot the first 15 years of her life up until her parent's death. She has no memories of her youth before the age of fifteenーshe doesn't know what happened, what was done to her, or what she had done with her first memory is that of standing over a pulpy mess that seemed to have once been her parents, with a warm and bloody egg slicer in her hand. While her memory of the incident is hazy, it's strongly implied that she killed her biological parents after they abused her one too many times and caused her to snap. The authorities took her into their care, assessing her mental state whilst trying to nurse her back to health. During this time, the authorities began to take note of her ability to communicate with avifauna and the word began to spread to powerful people. However the Niwa family took notice of her abilities and, after adopting her, began to force her to fight for them, training her up as a soldier, fighter and spy she fought in many wars and was hired by several different organizations, police and gangs a-like. Given no clear purpose, volition, or convictions of her own, she had only her orders to follow.
  
  Ryouka joined the 12th Juuni Taisen, otherwise known as the 'Zodiac War'; under the Zodiac of the Chicken. Winners of the Juuni Taisen are known to of been given one wish upon victory which could be anything they ever wanted or desired. Unlike the other warriors who wanted to wish for things such as "Peace", "Money" and "Friends", Ryouka had hopes of winning the Juuni Taisen wishing for "Confidence" or "Confidence in herself" so that she could finally be an independent person.

  "Cockscomb":
  Niwatori's signature weapon is the spading fork called "Cockscomb" that she carries around with her, unlike other garden forks, it is a cross between a fork and a shovel, it can be used for practical garden use, however; it is sharp enough to be used as a weapon, both for slicing and stabbing.
  
  Eye of the Cormorant (CHOSEN ABILITY):
  Niwatori has the ability to commune with any kind of birds, this allows her to see through their eyes and even command them. She can order her birds to drop bombs, track enemies, or even eat their enemies with great numbers, this ability doesn't allow birds to perform actions they normally wouldn't be able to do and her ability becomes fairly limited in non-enclosed spaces.
  
  Chronic Backstabbing Disorder:
  Ryouka has a tendency to naturally betray and backstab those she becomes antiquated with.
  
  Apologetic Attacker:
  Niwatori always apologizes to those who she attacks and betrays.
  
  Weak, but skilled:
  What Niwatori is lacking in the physical department, she makes up for in skill, experience and utility.
  
  Trauma Induced Amnesia:
  Ryouka suffers from amnesia caused through her traumatic time as a child, she does not remember anything about the first fifteen years of her life, but given that her biological parents were implied to be highly abusive towards her, with the implication that she snapped and killed them as a result of it.
  
  Still 'Human':
  Despite all of this, Niwatori is still human, meaning that she cannot perform any actions that a human wouldn't be able to do. Being shot and stabbed and punched will still affect her as a normal human would.

Canon: Warhammer 40.000

Age: A lot older than his natural strapping, alluring, youthful, sensual, beautiful looks would lead you to think.

Attributes:

• (Positive) Due to his history and the personality he has developed from that Pat doesn't really get surprised by anything.

• (Positive) He is relatively knowledgeable from reading a lot, and when I say a lot I mean a lot.

• (Neutral) His carefree personality can be a dual-edged blade in most situations allowing to stay calm in stressful situations and at the same not allowing him to take it seriously.
• (Negative) Speaking truthfully, he is not the fittest person in the world in any sense of the world, more lean than bulky if you will.
• (Negative) Pat has seen a lot more than any normal has ever seen in their life, and he has lived enough to see more than a lifetime which resulted him being bored most of the time and him becoming more... sadistic.

Abilities:​

• Deal ledger - A chaos sorcerer acts as an emissary between his chosen god and the material if someone offers a tentative enough deal the god may facilitate the sorcerer to create a blood contract between the two parties. Basically forging a deal.
• Warp Time - The power of the Immaterium bursts from the Chaos Sorcerer, warping time and heightening the speed of his allies.
• Warp Vortex - A vortex of energy emerges to collect all matter within its core; men fall towards it as air rushes past and a small sphere of debris forms at its devastating center.
• Infernal Gaze - Unholy power streams from the Chaos sorcerer's eyes, charring and melting everything caught in its path.
• Hex of Decrepitude - In the Warp, time flows according to its own unknowable pattern. A powerful Sorcerer may call upon such temporal effects to age his enemies prematurely by manipulating the eddies of the Warp.
  
• Death Hex - The Sorcerer places a dire hex upon his enemies. Wards and energized defensive shields flicker and fail, leaving the foe exposed.
• Pangs of Misery - The Heretic reaches deeply through the target's mind and burrows into his pain centers. There he leaves a seed of energy that he nurtures until it matures into a sophisticated torture device. The victim suffers seemingly random and sudden but excruciating waves of pain. So terrible are these pangs that the victim risks falling unconscious if he cannot steel himself against them.
• Cedron's Twin - The power of the Warp to shape the desires of the psychically attuned have few limits. Thus, the vanity of Man and his desire to transcend his reality in favor of his ideal has already been created in the form of Cedron's Twin. This power allows the sorcerer make a double of himself to fool his enemies and erstwhile allies alike. However, the double betrays the sorcerer, for it reflects the psyker's ideal self and not his true form.
  
• Befuddling Curse - A multihued bolt of light leaps from the Sorcerer and strikes the target with no apparent effect. Shortly after receiving the strike, the victim begins to act strangely, muttering to himself, screaming at imaginary enemies, or even taking a sword to his own leg against the nonexistent infestations rooted there.

Personality:
Pat simply speaking is a very bored man and will do anything to entertain himself and achieve new pleasures, even if some of the ways he decides to entertain himself are more grotesque that other more normal ones. He will play around and not take stuff seriously as death isn't the end anyways.

Bio:
Not much is known about Pat's early life as he lived on one of the many hive worlds of the Imperium in the quadrillions of citizens that the Administratum doesn't have the time nor care about knowing about. First real record of his existence begins with him when he was already under the influence of chaos where he proceeded to allow a demon invasion of Slaneesh to take over his world in order to get a better rank. He then disappears and there aren't any more records of history other than some tortured warp travelers mentioning him once in a while which is quite average about people who spend a lot of time in the warp.

Bio: No one knows what happenned in the beginning, let’s begin on his [rather cruel] childhood; Jack’s father died when he was a young and was left under the “care” of his grandmother who was rather abusive to his grandson in the physical form (which was getting hit by a buzzaxe (which I won’t go totally in-depth about that weapon)), the mental decline and the trauma left from this series of events caused Jack (on his Adulthood) to call in a few bandits and murder his grandmother (Reference; Mission: To Grandmother’s house We go) down in the area of “Eridium Blight”, no wonder how Jack ended up being a megalomaniatic person at this point.
Let’s proceed a few things after that; Right as he takes the position of president of the Hyperion Corporation [after the strangulation of Harold Tassiter] he self-declared as “dictator” of Pandora as with it; more mayhem broke out than ever in that planet. (No fucking wonder why someone there would kill anyone for a Twinkie)

Attributes: Darius can turn the environment into one huge death-trap and one swift stab from the knife is enough to take a regular human being down and also. He is one sneaky mother-fucker

Chosen Ability/Equipment: Just a regular kitchen knife

Personality: The Party Hard Killer actually hates parties and sees them as symbolic of society's decay. He hates hedonism in general

Bio: Darius, also known as the party hard killer, is a man who killed party goers in Autumn of 2000. He went from party to party, killing all people he could see. His motive towards these murders was that he was woken up at 3 AM by some neighbors having a party. He then decided to head over and stop the party himself.

Character Name: Johnny Bravo

Age: No official age has been given but he's in his 20's

Attributes: This is Johnny Bravo we're talking about and, despite being overpowered multiple times in the cartoon by girls (mainly for comedic effect) I'm pretty sure that his muscles aren't just for show and he's capable of multiple strength related feats. Johnny's main weakness would be his appearance, since he's always worried about that and his yet another weakness would probably be related to girls. It's been a while since I watched Johnny Bravo [Your strengths and weaknesses/skills are included here]

Chosen Ability/Equipment: His strength, if considered too OP then probably a nerfed version of his original strength.

Personality: Johnny Bravo is full of himself, always complementing his appearance and flexing for himself in front of a mirror or girls. He's also determined, doing anything it takes to win a girl's heart... Or just to get something he really wants. He also appears to not be very intelligent although there's an exception where he served as a host for a show and appeared to be very capable at doing the job. As for people who are annoying to him, he's rude to them but deep down cares for their feelings.

Bio: During his childhood Johnny developed a fear to the dark, mainly because his stuffed animals appeared to be alive thanks to his young imagination. During middle school Johnny was not what he first appeared to be, he was very different, no hulking muscles or nothing. During High School he meet a girl called Sandy Baker who saved him from being picked on by bullies, after that he fell in love with her and even asked her to prom which, to his surprise, she said yes, although he didn't like the idea of her going out with some weakling so he bought some gym equipment and began to work out. He even drank Muscle Powder drinks to ensure that he gained muscle by the time of the prom.
When it did finally happen and it was prom day he was heartbroken to find out that Sandy wouldn't answer the door, he even tried to find her at the prom but failed. He believed he got ditched but then meet her years later only to find out that she moved and that he forgot about that.

Moon Caller's Staff:

Summons a condensed ball of aurora, aptly named the Polar Light, which rapidly lowers the temperature of the atmosphere around it.​

Personality: Wilson is... An interesting fellow, to say the least. As a scientist, his fascination with the unknown and his pursuit of discovery borders on unhealthy, and his eagerness to probe the depths of reality with his mind may as well be suicidal, and is only tempered by his equal eagerness to survive in the unforgiving Constant.

Bio: Born in New England during the 1890s, Wilson Percival Higgsbury got off to a rocky start in his adulthood. His unstable relationship with his family led him to living alone in a desolate forest, in an old, rickety cabin, practically isolated from society and left to his own devices. Despite his studies and hardships, however, his studies were for nought, as many of his scientific experiments were complete and utter failures, and left Higgsbury unsatisfied and on the brink of forgoing his dreams of discovery. This all, however, changed when an enigmatic voice emanating from his radio reached out to him with the promise of forbidden knowledge, which Wilson more than gladly accepted... And forbidden knowledge was he surely granted. The scientist quickly got to work on a mysterious contraption which he himself did not know the purpose of, but eventually found out when the activation of his then-completed machine transported him into the uncompromising word of The Constant, where Wilson was forced to utilise the resources the wilderness of the strange realm had provided him, and began his relentless struggle to survive and overcome the odds that the puppet master Maxwell staged.
After defeating the slender magician, however, Wilson released his former antagoniser from the clutches of The Nightmare Throne merely out of pity and, in turn, tricked into taking on Maxwell's position as the "carer" of the Constant. His reign, however, was short-lived, as Maxwell's once-assistant now-night monster Charlie stripped the dapper scientist of his newfound throne powers and returned him to the wilderness where he reluctantly allied with the puppet master in hopes of surviving once more in the hellish landscape.

Christine doesn't talk much (and that isn't just because of her broken vocal cords). Christine acts seriously and tries to get the job done with the best of her abilities, even if sometimes she gets distracted by her fears or passions. (Sorry if this isn't that good. It is pretty hard to create a personality for someone who barely talks and mostly just communicates via hand motions).

Bio:
Christine Royce was a scribe in the Brotherhood of Steel and a knight of the Circle of Steel in the Mojave Desert. When the former elder of the Brotherhood of Steel, Father Elijah, left the Brotherhood, leaving a trail of crime behind, Christine was dispatched to go after him. She had a personal grudge against him when she was being kept apart from her lover by him. She eventually found him at Big Mountain but was hurt in the process of attempting to apprehend him, giving her brain damage. She was helped by a man named Ulysses and Christine resumed her quest to find Elijah at the Sierra Madre casino, where she was captured and equipped with an explosive collar. She and three others (The Courier, Dog/God, and Dean Domino) were forced by Elijah to perform a heist in the Vault in the casino. There, she was trapped in an auto-doc by Dean, which broke her vocal cords. She was later healed by another auto-doc which gave her the voice of a former star, Vera, which would help her open the voice activated vault of the Sierra Madre. After the events in the Sierra Madre, she remained there becoming it's warden. The ghosts saw her as just another hologram and there she stayed.

Character Name: Han Solo

Canon: Star Wars

Attributes: He can use air vehicles the best, being the lead pilot of his jet squadron. He can use most materials he comes upon easily to repair, etc. He knows when to say "No." as most people are like, Urhh..f-fine...he can flat out reject anyone without feeling bad whatsoever. Though compassion can be his weakness. He is also trained well with all sorts of blaster rifles, pistols, etc. So marksmanship. He is partially trained in combat but is better with a blaster rifle.

Chosen Ability/Equipment: DL-44 heavy blaster pistol.

Personality: Han is quite reckless. He has a sarcastic wit as well. Han himself calls himself a materialist as some of that aspect is true, but some of it is not. Part of his personality includes compassion, which almost never shows but when it does it's quite rare.

Bio: Han was a simple smuggler in the scheme of the galaxy. Though, he joined the alliance to restore the galactic republic. He met Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker, as well as his best pal, Chewbacca the Wookiee. Throughout the alliance he even sacrificed himself to take down the death star, which he did and survived somehow. With this he became the general of the rebels and the leader of the elite group "The Pathfinders" and took down the galactic empire.

Attributes: Graphite Spiral is an Earth Pony who has a fascination with the unknown. Generally it takes alot to spook him and it is nearly impossible to scare him to death. Graphite Spiral loves to work on anything that involves industrial maintenance. His hooves are quick and precise to the point where he can fix just about anything if under the right circumstances. However, Graphite Spiral absolutely despises unicorns. He sees them as pampered untrained wastes of space who don't understand what real work is. In fact his hate for unicorns is so great that he was once known for breaking ones horn because they wouldn't shut up. If asked about unicorns Graphite Spiral will reply saying, "They may appear strong and kind, but I don't fall for that. Behind their looks of kindness and magic lies a feeling of superiority."

Personality: Graphite Spiral has a cool tempered feeling about him. Many say that he is colder than space itself. That's not true. Graphite Spiral has a warm heart to everypony/one/thing. He only hates unicorns so much because they seem to act as if they are in control of everything. Graphite Spiral however hates being offered assistance just because he is an Earth Pony. He also doesn't like being seen in pain and will refuse help until he himself asks for it.

Bio: Graphite Spiral was a mechanic. A mechanic with passion and love for the job. This meant that many a pony sought after him to repair or maintain a vast array of items from small electronics to massive racing steam trains. It was when he earned his cutie mark that Graphite Spiral had dreams of a city unlike anything else before. One particular time Graphite Spiral was certain that the dream was real. Unbeknownst to him it was no dream... It was never a dream. When he went to sleep... Graphite Spiral was to wake up in the Millennium City...

Character Name: Chewbacca

Canon: Star Wars

Attributes: Chewbacca is a skilled pilot and can easily pilot a ship. He also possesses quick reflexes. Chewbacca knows how to use various types of blasters. He can pick up a new range weapon in battle and he will know how to use it. Chewbacca, however, has a bad temper.

Chosen Equipment:

A single bowcaster.

Personality: Chewbacca is known to be caring and protects those who he cares for. He does, though, have a bad temper, and he goes from 1 to 100 quickly.

Bio: Chewbacca was raised on the planet of Kashyyyk. He was raised by the other Wookiees. They age slowly, which explains why Chewbacca is so old. At one point, battle droids invaded his home planet. Chewie fought with the other Wookiees and Yoda to fend them off. Several years after, Chewbacca left the planet and went into smuggling. He met Han Solo, and the two teamed up together. They went on to fight by the side of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa in the Rebellion. They fought many battles together against the evil Empire.

Attributes: Wielding a genius-level intellect and a natural gift for strategy, Chrollo is a gifted leader. He is in peak human condition, although he lacks muscle mass and a build suited to feats of strength. He is incredibly agile with lightning-quick reflexes along with being exceedingly skilled with bladed weapons, knives in particular.

Chosen Equipment: Skill Hunter and Double Face, his book and bookmark that allow him to access abilities he has stolen. (Abilities must be recovered through power orbs, these basically do nothing except for letting him conjure the book.)

Personality: Chrollo is a very restrained person, very rarely giving off any outward sign of emotion. He prefers to remain calm and in control. He is merciless and cold blooded, and possesses no feelings of remorse or regret. However, he cares deeply for those he has deemed as his friends, although it has limited effect on his mental state and rationality.

Bio: A resident of Meteor City, Chroll grew up in poverty and filth. During his late teens, he formed up with other residents of the junkyard city to form an organization known as the Phantom Troupe, a band of thieves and rogues that, under his leadership, quickly became feared and hated for their brutally efficient and ruthless methods of achieving their goals.
