Going by your other posts this power is sight based. Does that mean that it also suffer a similar weakness as Eraserhead's quirk? I.e does is it affect a target even after she looks away and/or blinks?Quirk:
Traffic Jam - Kumi's quirk resembles an actual stoplight. She can stop, slow down, and normalize movements in 5 minute intervals for a brief period of time. She can only target one individual or an object at a time.
I just want to mention that Trigger is used as the name of a type of drug in canon. Don't get me wrong, it's a 100% fine with me if you still want to use it as a hero name. I just wanted you to be aware of it.Hero Name: Trigger
How much of a physical buff does she get?Quirk: Shark
An oddity to the family whose proud of the strength of their quirk's bloodline, Kazue has a mutation quirk called Shark which allows her to do anything a shark can do. This comes with:
A physical buff
High defense (Basically bulletproof, I didn't know Sharks were THIS scary 0_0)
Improved senses
Swimming speed and water-breathing
A real nasty bite
This rp is sadly not recruiting new members as of this time. Terribly sorry.Name:
Hitode Ishigami
Appearance:
View attachment 743868
Gender:
Female
Age:
15
Costume:
She hasn't actually decided on one, so she sort of defaults to a simple, dark bodysuit and a helmet with a visor in the shape of a pink star.
Hero Name:
STAR☆Fish
Personality:
Chipper, mischievous, annoying. Hitode finds it her life's duty to be the center of attention by being the most bombastic, loud, and insufferably cheerful person in the room. She enjoys making jokes and crafting puns, and seems to gather some sort of sadistic joy out of egging people on to do crazy stunts. She is easily entertained, but her wishes and wants tend to change on a whim, and she may just as easily be deterred by something as she is entertained by it.
Her weird persona hides her calculative and watchful behaviour. However, she uses her god-given gifts mostly to her own selfish needs. She reads people quite easily, but uses this mostly to just annoy them; she is a meticulous planner who can map out her moves in advance, but she only uses this to score some 'me time' and make things easier for herself.
Background:
Born to the Ishigami household, Hitode never really was into the whole hero lifestyle. Granted, it seemed wild and fun, Hitode just wasn't really interested in that whole shebang. She was mostly interested in just helping her parents run their convenience store. Her strange Quirk allowed her to get around the store and stock things on the higher shelves without much assistance, and it was, really, a rather comfortable life.
The only reason why she signed up for hero school was mostly because of the realisation that being a hero paid bills. Advertisements, business deals, clout from name alone, it would not only make bank, it would also draw more attention to her parents' shop. With only some plans drawn up for the future after graduation, she signed up to be a hero.
Quirk:
Mutation Quirk. Hitode has a large tail that splits into five thinner tails, resembling a weird, warped hand. She jokingly calls her Quirk 'Backhand', but is struggling to come up with a much more creative name than this one. The body of the tail, namely the white parts, is tough and fleshy, seemingly made up of only pure muscle, making it hard to damage properly by blunt forces. However, it can be cut particularly easily. Though it regenerates over time, slicing off her smaller tails can reduce how much she can do in any given situation. The tips of her tails are exempt from this. They are hard and tough, as if filled with extremely sturdy material of sorts. With some force behind them, Hitode can use the tips of her tails as piercing weapons. While Hitode is rather fragile and anything but strong, her tail is extremely tough, and is much stronger than the body it is attached to, being able to lift a car unaided.
Aoi Kokegoke
蒼 苔苔
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Costume: Classic taekwondo uniform. Made with a thin material so that the body doesn't overheat itself. She carries a bottle of water with herself all the time.
Hero Name: Aoi (probably subject to change)
Personality: Fierce. Is the best word to describe her if she were to be described in one word only. But that would be really specific and weird? Aoi remains passive-aggressive towards people she has yet to get to know, and after she finally gets to know them better, she remains passive-aggressive as well, jokingly of course! Her social behavior is akin to a goose: threatening everybody and everything to hide its own lack of strength. Intimidation at its finest. Aoi constantly challenges herself to achieve more and more, usually disregarding teamwork. She does that for two reasons: one is that she believes people have better quirks than her, so she would only be a hindrance, and second one is that she believes one can improve best when one works solo. Strategy is a pretty good joke. She sometimes uses some, but most of the time she simply rushes at things, only managing to curse under her breath after she realizes that it might not have been the best approach. She won’t admit that, of course. Aoi is not stupid, just a bit dumb. She not terrible when it comes to school, but learning comes with a price of having to cram the material last minute only to get a passing grade.
Background:
It all started with her parents. Her father whom she rarely saw was a hero: part of the elite which stood above the ordinary people. Fame certainly wasn’t what he achieved, but his work was enough for the family to stay wealthy, and for the young Aoi to become obsessed with his work. Since young age she dreamed of a day when she could stand next to him at his, no, THEIR hero agency and be called an equal. Aoi’s mother, even though she was the one responsible for her upbringing, never resonated with the girl. She was a gentle woman, with a gentle, moss quirk, while the girl had the fiery passion of her father and something akin to disgust to usual home activities like cooking, cleaning, and even sleeping. Aoi’s excitement to be a hero wavered and declined ever since her quirk manifested. At first, she thought it’s just her mother’s power, but after a few weeks it went out of control when the girl contracted a fever. Her sweat would make moss grow on her body, dehydrating and sometimes even suffocating her. Normal cold turned into a situation which threatened her life, and it took her a lot of time before she learned how to control it. It made her dream of becoming a hero impossible. When people are frustrated, they need somebody to blame for their misery. In Aoi’s case, it was her mother. Why did she have to inherit her useless quirk? Why would her quirk be so out of control? The two stopped talking beyond simple exchanges during dinner.
It was more of a hindrance than a power, and when it came time for grade and middle school, Aoi would just say she’s quirkless. Because of that, she needed to grow in confidence and aggression. People wouldn’t bully her if she got strong enough to defend herself, even against quirked opponents. Her answer: martial arts. Since the beginning of grade school she attended taekwondo trainings, and with years passing, she became quite proficient in it, achieving the rank of 1st Dan (black belt) when she turned 15. What started as means to defend herself, quickly transformed into something that reawakened her dream. She could become a hero: a ‘quirkless’ one. She would achieve that not only without her quirk, but also fighting against it. Aoi never wanted to be the best hero, just being one is enough for her.
Quirk: Moss - Her sweat glands produce microscopic moss seeds which can be made to grow on anything they come in contact with (except things like metal, glass etc.) If the moss is made to grow in Aoi’s body, it can sustain itself indefinitely, draining water from the user’s body. If planted on anything else, the moss will wither away within few minutes if it doesn’t have any contact with a water source. Whichever option is chosen, some initial water is drained from the user’s body. Whether the moss starts growing and when it withers away can be controlled by the user, but it takes some concentration. In fact, after any taxing physical tasks which leave Aoi sweaty, she needs to concentrate to control her quirk so that the moss won’t burst out from all of her sweat glands. If she ever loses her focus, a green layer of moss will immediately start covering her body. It essentially makes it so that exercising becomes multitasking. Aoi herself hasn’t yet tested the upper limits of her quirk, but she can produce roughly half her body weight of moss before she becomes severely dehydrated. The moss grows almost instantly.
Can you just clarify which species she can create? Or is it the ones mentioned in her backstory (shrimp and centipedes)? She mainly creates only one species, but has learned to create two, or even three different species, as long as they're all from the same phylum.
How strong of an explosion are we talking about? The gun was a BB gun he'd ordered online, modified to shoot small explosives that run on an electrical circuit. Harmless on its own, he relies on his quirk to fry the circuits, causing an explosion.
Gonna say no to this one. My issue with it is that it turns his main weakness into one his strengths. The blade on his left arm is a conductive material that stores the electricity received. If anyone touches the blade, the voltage they receive would be relative to how much Prince has used his quirk and how many shocks he has sustained.
Can you specify how much stronger and durable he becomes, please?Quirk: Reptile – Transformation: Harry can transform into a huge lizard-man at a whopping 13ft tall he has incredible physical bulk. Like a crocodile, he has tough scales, a long powerful jaw and can swim fairly fast via tail propulsion. In this state he also has enhanced healing, having regrown a toe in the past while in his transformed state.
Accepted.Name: Emiko Murakami
Appearance:
Gender:
Age: 16
Costume:
Hero Name: Spitfire
Personality: Emiko is quite a quiet girl who generally bottles up her feelings and mostly keeps to herself, although she is far from timid. With people she feels comfortable around, Emiko becomes quite loud and boisterous, even being quite silly at times. Emiko judges people quickly and quite harshly at first, but is not adverse to changing her opinions on people. With people she has decided she doesn't like, Emiko reacts quite sarcastically and passive-aggressively. Despite normally being more sarcastic and passive-aggressive, Emiko has quite a short temper and is easily enraged. When angered in such a way, she will often lash out aggressively and quickly resorts to violence.
Background: Emiko grew up in a single parent family, raised by a father who, whilst kind enough to her and generally very loving towards her, was often absent for work, leaving her largely looked after by extended family members, neighbors, or paid babysitters. Her father was supposedly a simple businessman, a profession that had kept them in a moderate amount of wealth and allowed them to live comforably. She later found out, however that her father had in fact been let go from his job a few years previously and had in fact been making his money as a professional villain, usually as subordinate muscle for a more powerful, more important villain. This revolation only came to her when her father was finally defeated by a hero and arrested. Following this, Emiko was taken in by the state, as she had no other family members willing or able to take care of her. As part of this, she has been heavily encouraged to enroll in the hero school, in an attempt to prevent her going down the same path of villainy as her father.
Quirk: Flammable Breath - Emiko generates a hydrogen-like flammable gas when she exhales. This gas is colourless and odourless. She is then able to ignite it using specialised teeth that function like a flint and steel to create a spark. Through this she is thus able to appear as if she is breathing fire. Taking longer between exhaling and igniting the gas will allow it to travel further away from her but will also cause the gas to dissipate into the air more and make the gas weaker. The furthest the gas can travel before being too diluted to ignite is about five meters. A less obvious aspect of her quirk is an additional, different chemical that occurs in her saliva. This chemical is incredibly flame retardant, thus preventing her from burning her own mouth when she breathes fire. This chemical does not naturally occur elsewhere in her body, however, meaning that outside of her mouth she is no more protected from fire than any other person.
Accepted[/QUOTE]Already posted in the Character Sheet Page (since I'm pretty sure my idea was accepted) but I'll post it here as well.
Name:Chisuke Takoyami
Appearance:
Gender: Male
Age:16
Costume:
This helmet
And this costume. (Imagine it without the skirt or the armbands)
Hero Name: Hemorrhage
Personality:
Chisuke is determined and always strives to do things without the use of quirks. In fact he seems to have quite an apathy for quirks in general. But he is also always very encouraging of other people, especially those who happen to have weak quirks. He's somewhat quiet and withdrawn, but not to the point where he actively avoids people.
Background:
Chisuke was born to a decently well of family and grew up with two parents who had mediocre quirks (one can change her skin to a shade of crimson, the other can write with his finger) Chisuke had been expected to have a similar low level quirk, but one might of screaming at the age of 5 changed that prediction. He had discovered that his quirk was surprisingly powerful, but also impossibly painful. For that reason he chose never to use it. But from time to time he did still use it subconsciously, mostly in instances where he was protecting himself or others. He struggled through this for his entire childhood, but despite that still wished to help people. So he took up Krav Maga so he could still hold his own in a fight, even without his quirk.
Quirk:
Blood Armor (Chisuke can force blood to push through his skin pours and harden into a near indestructible armor. This causes great pain and causes great blood loss depending on how much armor is made)
Can you give a couple of examples? While sounding fairly straight forward this quirk is capable of more than it seems, especially when combined with her other skills.
Would it be too much to ask if I asked you to change your characters quirk to something else?Quirk: Mineral Printer - Miguel can absorb metals and minerals from the earth and use them to "print" machines and tools with his hands.
Can you clarify what she can do with this quirk? She can control heat in a 50ft radius
Can you clarify what she can do with this quirk?
Also, you say that there's only so much heat she can manipulate before her body breaks down, where does the limit go?
Going by your other posts this power is sight based. Does that mean that it also suffer a similar weakness as Eraserhead's quirk? I.e does is it affect a target even after she looks away and/or blinks?
I just want to mention that Trigger is used as the name of a type of drug in canon. Don't get me wrong, it's a 100% fine with me if you still want to use it as a hero name. I just wanted you to be aware of it.
Other than that, Yasu is accepted.
How much of a physical buff does she get?
Also, dumb question but when you say improved senses do you mean a mere boost to her normal senses or does it mean she's able to use electroreception
This rp is sadly not recruiting new members as of this time. Terribly sorry.
Can you give a couple of examples?
And again, trying to keep quirks fairly straightforward.
Would it be too much to ask if I asked you to change your characters quirk to something else?
It's just that "creating machines" is a tad too vauge for my taste.
Can you clarify what she can do with this quirk?

no need to be. hmu if it ever opens up againThis rp is sadly not recruiting new members as of this time. Terribly sorry.
Heads up, I think your attachment is broken.Name: Elyse Farron
Appearance:
View attachment 743744
Gender: she/her
Age: 16
Costume: a close-fitting grey jumpsuit, a steel protective mask with hundreds of eyes carved on it
Hero Name: Lovecraft
Personality: she's snarky, bearing a smirk or a grimace whenever she's talking to someone, in reality, this is just a defense mechanism.
Background: she was born into a middle-lower class family, her father worked long shifts and her mother was an addict. When her quirk manifested, they were understandably horrified by it but supported her through it. At 10, her mother died to a drug overdose, and her father fell into depression. He killed himself when she was 15. She was taken in by foster parents, but when they found out about her quirk they were disgusted by it, leading her to rebel against them, smoking and drinking. She would run away to parties without telling them. when one of these parties were attacked by villains, leading to most of her friends at the time being killed, she decided to join the academia, to learn to be a hero.
Quirk: eldritch abomination- an uncontrollable form of shapeshifting where her body erupts into tentacles, insectoid limbs, fleshy blobs, legs, arms, mouths overflowing with teeth, eyes everywhere, just becoming a well, an eldritch abomination like something straight out of Lovecraft. she is unable to control the process at the moment, the only capacity she has to do so is deciding whether the floodgate is open or closed. the destructive potential is massive, as she has very little control over her body during the process. and civilians often mistake her for a villain, run scared, or just break down crying, because just like in HP Lovecraft's novels, the human mind can barely comprehend it. (not as OP as it seems, as at this level she can barely move around in the form. it's essentially just an explosion of body parts)
Now it's good. She looks sassy.ah shit
Nah. pbtenchi is already playing two characters so it's perfectly fine.Delinquent Is it only one character each? I always liked making teacher characters and I'm wondering if that will be a possibility in the future?
Yeah I agree. Maybe teachers could be introduced later but only when the rp is more established and stable.Delinquent Can I voice my opinion that I'd like for there not to be teacher characters? Maybe one homeroom teacher (assuming you aren't doing it). But from what I've seen MHA rps die because people introduce so many other characters and then heroes and teachers and the focus just gets split too much. I think it's better to just follow the one class for now. RPing with a bunch of characters is already hard and then we have completely separate plots happening in tandem with one another.
