Since Metanoia's first studio album was a smash success and was lauded as the best alt-rock album in years, Freedom Records ensured that they could go on a world tour off of their debut - a rarity in the music world. But with competing personalities, creative visions and dreams, how will this band hold during their first tour?

Arthur's Attic was the last small show Metanoia would play - at least as a true indie act. As the lights dimmed after their closing song, that felt more real than ever before. The band had only formed three years prior to that last show, with their biggest fans from over the years cheering them on, knowing the lyrics to every song. They were romantic high school kids in search of an outlet when they first met. They blossomed into a group that was on the verge of having one of the biggest debut albums of the year. They had been playing small bars and pubs with hardly anyone there to watch them before Elisa Roscow, a talent agent with a soft spot for rock and roll, had introduced them to the producers and ultimately Freedom Records. Their EP was a smash success on the indie scene and they were asked to make a full length album. The alt-rock album happened to have a few hits that resonated with a larger audience.

The band was almost growing sick from the amount of play time that "Sweet Mind" and "We've Only Just Begun" were receiving. They weren't ignorant to the fact that the crowds they had been playing after their radio success seemed especially attentive to those two tracks. Whatever the case was, they still enjoyed their indie ventures. They recognized that Arthur's Attic signified the end of an era.

After the concert was over and the equipment was all packed away in the band, the band stood outside the small bar in Reno. Elisa smiled at Metanoia. She had seen them go so far and was unbelievably proud of them.

"Well, the night is your's," she said, "but don't get too carried away. You're gonna make a television appearance pretty soon. I'm heading home. Be careful, but make the most out of the time you have. This is your last night as small town rock stars."

We've only just begun
Having our fun!

Part of the lyrics to one of their hit songs played in Lissa's mind, almost preventing her from hearing their manager as she spoke. Realizing the woman was talking, Lissa pressed pause on the mental music, her lips spreading into a wide grin as she told them not to go crazy. "Who, us? Never!" Lissa giggled, realizing then just how far she'd come from the depressed little girl she'd been when she met her bandmates.

Back then, she'd still been reeling from the suicide of her brother, despite the fact it had been a few years before. But through her bandmates, and their music, she'd been able to get the closure she so desperately needed and become a badass rock star. She was really very proud of herself, and the rest of her friends, because they were friends. Not just bandmates. And now they were about to go big.

She couldn't wait.

Casting a glance towards the others, she bit her bottom lip, having so much that she wanted to say. But no words came to mind other than, "Are you guys ready?"

Adam smiled affectionately at Lissa, raising an eyebrow. He could tell the impending tour was really uplifting her, as well as the rest of the band. He was ready for any obstacles that they would face in the future. He nodded.

"I'm ready for anything."

He had been waiting for Metanoia's ascension for a while. They had worked long and hard to make good music and they were finally getting credit.

"So are we gonna party or lay low?"
