Hey guys! I'm NessieAlways, but you can call me Nessie. A while back, one of our dear companions, @Elle Joyner , started a roleplay following several teens in an elite secret group called The Zodiac Echelon. With her permission, I'd like to start a similar RP.
About the RP
This will be a goal driven roleplay, meaning characters will have to work together or alone to achieve a certain goal. Characters will be part of an elite society, Le Beau Monde. Le Beau Monde is made up of the young socialites of London. They're part of the upper crust, the "Who's who" of today's society. Everyone wants to know them and everyone wants to be them. Whether they are born rich, married into money, or climbed their way up the social ladder, the members of Le Beau Monde are chosen with a purpose, to find the best debutante and name her "Queen".
Characters will be attending various events, some formal and some casual, in order to score points, climb the social ladder and be invited to the International Debutante Ball. Being invited to the ball will not only bring your character a good reputation, they will also be crowned King and Queen of Le Beau Monde and become the leaders of London's most elite socialite group other perks involved. Only 1 character and her chosen escort will be invited. Those characters will be the best and most noted people in London.
Characters will have to keep up appearances in formal events and off of the newspapers in casual events. Examples of events include: White Ball, Halloween Parties, Birthday soirees, etc. Character development, drama, and rumors will follow these characters throughout the RP as they all compete for an invitation and possibly plot against one another to assure their spot in the Debutante Ball. Friendships will be made, love will be found, but most importantly, secrets will come to light.
Details
In order to be invited to the International Debutante Ball, characters have to be part of the Society.
There will be 10 positions available. Five males, five females. There will be NO RESERVES. Multiple characters will be allowed. Most characters should already be familiar with each other so relationships can be established.
Every character should be rich-- some may be richer than others-- and all characters should want to go to the ball whether it's for reputation, being the best, making a dream come true, or parents forcing them into their society.
Whichever the case, everyone is competing for the invitation.
What I'm looking for
This will be a High Casual Rp. Players should be able to create dynamic characters with room for character development. Players should also be able to provide substantial posts that will drive the story forward. I'm looking for players that will stick with the RP and be engaged in out of character plotting. I'm also looking for mature players as I do not want this RP to fly off the handle over petty drama.
