Aaron is a charming, well mannered and well spoken young man who laughs and smiles a lot, not lacking in confidence or energy. He is capable of making a good first impression and giving an image of almost innocence, the good guy, your typical, respectable role model. But make no mistake, Aaron is no cookie cutter goody two shoes who falls in line and obeys all the rules, he can be quite an irritating little jerk if he wants to be. Underneath his disarming smile and charming personality is a devilish young man with a devil may care attitude. When the cameras are rolling and Aaron is in character, he is diligent, doing his part as an actor and playing his role to the best of his abilities, the consummate professional. But when the director has called scene and the cameras have stopped rolling, all bets are off and he becomes unreliable and prone to acts of whimsicality driven by his boredom which has given his past agents more than their fair share of grey hairs. He is extremely individualistic and believes in living his life as he wants to and does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He is also indifferent to almost everyone and everything, even if he might smile and nod along. Your life is yours just as his life is his. Aaron has always been the type to get bored easily and change activities or switch things up out of boredom. While he might change his mind often he usually maintains his charming smile and relaxed manner, whether he is giving you a warm welcome and making you feel like a million bucks or letting you know he thinks you're the biggest idiot in the world and to basically screw off. His delivery of scathing comments and blunt, abrasive opinions in the same manner as his compliments has offended a decent number of people. It doesn't help that he rarely apologises for what he says and often forgets such incidents pretty quickly. Being himself thick skinned and opinionated, he believes everyone is entitled to their opinion and should be willing to accept criticism and hear cruel comments even, especially in the entertainment industry.

Off set, Aaron usually does what he wants, rules and what other people tell him be damned, but he does toe the line and behave when he deems it necessary to do so, such as maintaining good relations and appearances with powerful people. In front of the media and reporters, he is usually his charming, amiable role model like self unless he feels provoked by a question that goes against his beliefs, in which case he will bluntly voice his opinion, politically correct answer and pandering to the media be damned, all the while maintaining his charm and manner.

When you've seen how capricious and indifferent Aaron can be, it can make it hard to trust him and not feel like he's constantly putting on an act, especially when he seems to show interest in what you are saying. He can be mischievous, having a terrible habit of messing with people for laughs whether that might be him refusing to give straight answers to frustrate them or being deliberately misleading. While Aaron can be indifferent, he certainly isn't withdrawn or a loner. In fact he enjoys socialising and conversation but he has a habit of mixing in lies and changing up his answers, using his duplicity to hide the parts he really wants to keep hidden from everyone else and maintain a certain distance. In a way, it's his defense mechanism.

Aaron has a strong sense of self and firm beliefs, one of which is keeping his work and personal life completely. Everything that happens off set should never be brought on set, which can make him seem even more callous and unfeeling. He looks down on those who are incapable of compartmentalising that way. Aaron believes in paying people back in kind and getting even rather than just getting mad such as being bossy back to a bossy person. With his charm and adventurous free spirit, he can be fun to be around and good company, but don't make the mistake of counting on him for anything. At the end of the day he is a selfish individualist who believes everyone's problems and lives are their own and he has no responsibility to help them just as they have no responsibility to help him.

Where I was

Aaron Lin Kai Wen was born in Wisconsin to immigrant Chinese parents. Growing up, he was always made to be keenly aware of his race, the fact that he was a member of the minority with black hair and brown eyes instead of blonde and blue. Still, he managed to integrate well into his largely white community and thrived socially and at school, working hard to perform his best. Still, racial bias occasionally came into play when it came to selecting students for important roles and other such things, which slowly shaped Aaron's view of fairness and begin the development of his strong beliefs and opinions. He and his family moved to Los Angeles when he was 10.

His parents were overachievers and on the controlling determined to give their child what they believed to be the best experience, signing him up and introducing him to just about everything. Taekwondo, arts class, soccer, violin and the list goes on. One of the many classes that they signed Aaron up for, was an acting class, and when Aaron was 12, he was cast in his first significant role in a play as a key supporting character. As an actor, he goes by the stage name Aaron Kai which Aaron himself thinks is a little stupid.

Aaron isn't on bad terms with them but nor is he particularly close with them, especially since he cut them off from being his agents. He is civil and good to them but doesn't involve them or tell them about his work, maintaining what he calls a healthy distance to keep his private and work life separate and his parent's controlling tendencies at bay.

Aaron enjoyed acting in the play and he performed well enough to land himself a couple more small roles and jobs in commercials, other plays, and a few small tv series. His big break came when he was cast as the younger version of a main character in a martial arts tv show at the age of 15 and the director later cast him in a limited series spinoff that followed the main characters in their youth. His parents who doubled as his agents were thrilled and extremely proud of him and his achievements. They began to coach him on what to do and to say what they believed he needed to say to reporters and directors in order to become an even bigger success. But Aaron wanted to continue school. He enjoyed acting but he missed not being around his school friends, just getting up to the typical nonsense a young 15 year old boy would get up to. He insisted on taking a break from acting much to the disappointment of his parents and resumed attending physical classes when he was 16. However, things were different. His friends begin to treat him a little differently, focusing on his newfound bit of fame and the little differences that Aaron slowly picked up on began to rub him the wrong way, making him feel almost like a tool to his friends. He began to feel that people were more keen on being his friend in case he blew up to become someone big, someone who could get them in with the celebrities and give them cool perks more so than because they liked who he was. It upset him and he began to grow distant from his friends, bit by bit until the school year ended and he elected to return to acting and homeschooling because school wasn't fun for him any more. Looking back Aaron will tell you he was a foolish romantic back then, too focused and consumed by the idea of a completely pure friendship and his foolishness let that ruin the joy of school for him. But Aaron doesn't regret his decision to leave that all behind.

As Aaron returned to acting and started to get more roles in bigger shows, the attention he was getting from the media also began to grow. That only skyrocketed when he found himself cast as a main character in The Elementals. The series became a huge success and its cast was equally popular. Now older and more famous, Aaron didn't care much either way about his newfound fame. The perks were convenient and the attention was annoying but he simply enjoyed his job. Soon however, he found himself being peppered by reporters with questions of a particular variety that struck a nerve with him. Questions surrounding his race, the fact that he was the rare asian actor in a leading role and how he felt being a representative for his community an a potential inspiration for young aspiring asian actors. Aaron hated it. He didn't care. Sure the issue was important, the lack of representation was important, white-washing was a major problem and he wasn't a fan of that either but above all else, Aaron despised feeling like he was reduced to his race. That his race had become a qualifier like, he was good but that was only for an Asian. His responses to such questions were cutting. Aaron wanted to be known as a good actor not a good Asian actor. His race had nothing to do with his abilities or his achievements and expressed his lack of interest in being a representative or role model for his community. His parents freaked out and lectured him on what he should and shouldn't do, on the importance of getting along with the media to maintain his image and reputation. He responded by making the decision to fire them as his agents, believing that his personal life was mixing up far too much with his work life and getting messy. He hired himself a new agent and went along on his way.

Now, two years have passed and the show is undergoing some big changes with the arrival of new actors and crew on set to replace those who have left. There was a point when Aaron considered leaving as well because he thought playing the same role for a third season would get boring and take the joy out of acting. Aaron ultimately decided to stay, convinced by the begging of his agent and the interesting new direction the show was taking. With the new cast member and storyline, maybe acting in The Elementals won't get boring yet.

Kiran is a workaholic who believes there is always a right way to do things and that men should be reliable enough to be counted on. He’s an old fashioned fellow who is a stickler for good manners, rules and treating a lady like a gentleman. He is a man of his word and despises lying and breaking promises. While he believes one should trust the experts and defer to their knowledge, Kiran is also a control freak with a clear vision and so he is always hovering around or keeping tabs on things, ready to jump in with his thoughts and opinions if he thinks things aren’t going the right way. He can be inflexible and incredibly stubborn, especially in matters where he believes there is one right way to do things and he is fairly knowledgeable. He cannot seem to stop himself from interfering and poking his nose into the matters of those he cares about, even when it doesn’t concern him. He has a keen eye for detail and organisation which serves him well in keeping on top of things but can also be incredibly frustrating to deal with. You can trust Kiran, he always acts with the best interest of those around him at heart, though whether what he perceives to be in their best interests truly is, is a separate matter. Where I was

Kiran can’t remember a time where he wasn’t involved in the show business. His father was a famous pianist and his mother was a top Bollywood star who had successfully transitioned to Hollywood. He was the eldest child and only son, one half of a set of twins. Since the time they were babies, he and his twin sister Alisha have been around the sets of films and tv shows while their mother worked. The siblings have posed for photoshoots for clothing brands and played small roles on screen since they were young. Perhaps it ran in the family but both of them adored acting as they grew up and became more immersed in the show business. As they grew older, Alisha continued to take on bigger roles in bigger shows but Kiran began to find his eyes drawn elsewhere, captivated by the work that went on behind the scenes, by the producer who pieced together all the different parts that made the show what it was. The actors and actresses were the face of the shows but it was the producer who pulled the strings behind everything to produce the masterpieces. He admired the role and his aspirations soon shifted from becoming a top actor to a top producer who would put together many a masterpiece like the greats before him.

Life was going well for Kiran. He had begun to cut back on acting to focus on studying the craft of producing and eventually began to produce smaller works, a couple of short films and a mini series. Around this time, he began to date his girlfriend and now wife, Chanel Clairmont. He was well on his way to achieving his dreams when his father suddenly passed away. The elder Ainsley suffered a heart attack while performing at a concert. His death was a devastating blow on the family, particularly Kiran who admired his father and viewed him as the ideal man in every respect. He felt compelled to step up and fill the void his father left behind, become overprotective and excessive as a result. Made aware of just how precious time was and not wanting to waste anymore, he stopped acting to focus entirely on producing and achieving his dream. He also proposed to his girlfriend despite their young age and married her within a year of the proposal. Shortly after his marriage, the opportunity to help produce a promising new tv show called The Elementals appeared. Kiran leveraged every connection and advantage he had to secure the opportunity, becoming one of the producers of the show.

In the two years since, The Elementals has become a roaring success with audiences but the set has been plagued with problems that resulted in the departure of two members of the main cast and a new direction. With the change in direction, Kiran decided to bring in a new director to provide some fresh perspective in order to drive the show further. His friends warned him that he had neglected his marriage and wife too much for his work, leading him to ask her to come onboard as the new director. Armed with the belief that this decision to get his wife to work on the same project will allow him to avoid neglecting either his work or marriage, Kiran enters this new season, confident that things will go well on both fronts.

ambrose can easily be described as mellow and chill. he does enjoy social situations and he particularly enjoys being kept busy and having something to focus on. at the same time, ambrose values his alone time and he asks those around him to respect this, he enjoys the quiet as sometimes being a set decorator can be stressful, so he values having time to himself to wind down. for the most part, ambrose is easy to get along with and he enjoys talking and listening to others. he is indeed a great listener if you have something on your mind you want to speak.

Otto is, to be quite frank, rather spontaneous. Sometimes he's sitting and being calm and relaxed, other times, he is up on his feet and could keep anyone around him on their toes. You can get along with him if you're able to keep up with his enthusiasm and the fact that he can go from sitting down to not being able to sit still. Boredom tends to set in very easily with Otto, he is a person who needs something to keep him occupied. Otto tends to goof off and be on the more comical side. He's funny, tries to make people laugh and smile. Otto is ambiverted. He's extroverted and introverted, there are times where he's really outgoing and cheery, and there are other times where he just wants to be alone and he's on the quiet side.

Otto is also messy and disorganized, the type to stuff papers into a bag and go rummaging for them later. He also doesn't like being told what to do, and more than likely he is going to brush it off and do what he wants to. Otto is prone to reckless and impulsive behavior, doing things out of sheer impulse and not thinking about what he is doing is possibly a rash decision. He wants to help out, he wants to help others and he doesn't want to be standing idly by when he could be helping somebody out.

Otto was born in Berlin, Germany as an only child to his parents Helga and Elias Fischer. At a young age, Otto was unsure of what kind of career he wanted when he grows up. Both of his parents worked jobs to put food and money on the table so most of the time, Otto was staying with an aunt during this time period. During this time, Otto would be drawing or writing with sketchy penmanship. This was a recurrent thing up until Otto was 10 years old when his parents upped and told him they would be moving to the United States. Otto never really understood why they were leaving their 'nice life' in Germany just to move all the way to the U.S., but he rolled with it.

When Otto was 16, his parent's marriage was starting to strain, and arguments were a regular occurrence in the Fischer household, most often occuring in the morning or at night whenever Otto was trying to sleep. Falling asleep with earbuds was a common thing for Otto as he tried to block out the noise just so he could sleep. Around this time, Otto was job seeking and he was also working his way through school, planning on becoming a stylist after a while of thinking on what he wanted to do.

Otto landed a temporary job to help bring in money and to give his mom a rest and a break. It wasn't much but at least it was something. When Otto was done with school, he kept his job just to keep some money flowing in. He wasn't sure if he would ever land a job as a stylist but sure enough, he ended up landing a job as a stylist for the TV show The Elementals, particularly handling the outfits and costumes.

If there were to be a physical manifestation of the term 'social butterfly' it would be Dani. She flourishes in social situations, where her charisma and confidence take centre stage; she has an exuberance and warmth to her capable of filling up a room and which draws people towards her like moths to a flame. While it's essentially second nature to her now, she's built up her social presence through years and years of careful observation of the people around her in the industry. People are her expertise, and she can read them like a book - she makes it her business to figure out what they want and knows exactly what to do to play up to it. She's a highly adaptable woman, capable of adjusting herself to any situation she's thrown into. This ability to think on her feet also manifests itself in a quick-witted sense of humour which tends to come out around the people she feels most comfortable with.

But under the glittery, charming exterior is a woman who is deeply unsure about her own identity. Though her ability to adapt herself to live up to what others expect of her has proven to be one of her greatest strengths, truth be told she's coming to realise that she no longer knows where the act ends and where the real her begins. Dani will be the first to admit that she's a nepotism baby, though not in the way you might expect. Her father isn't some famous actor or hotshot director, but rather one of the most sought-after plastic surgeons in Los Angeles. He started out in Almaty, Kazakhstan and emigrated to California alongside Dani's mother after receiving a job offer there. It would be an understatement to say he's good at what he does, and it wasn't long before he'd built up enough of a reputation to start his own private practice. As for her mother, Aidana Isaev was a headstrong and confident woman with a good mind for business, or so Dani has been told. Dani herself has barely any memories of her mother, as she tragically passed away when Dani was seven.

But her father was determined to make sure Dani did not suffer any lack of love. Whatever his daughter wanted, she got - from designer clothes to birthday parties on yachts and private dance and piano lessons. So when Dani announced at the age of nine that she wanted to be an actress, her father was quick to leverage his celebrity clientele to get her an in. It turned out that just an in was enough, because all Dani needed to do was get her foot in the door to bust it wide open. With an intelligence beyond her years, a receptiveness to instruction, a doll-like face and the ability to burst into tears on command, she was an instant favourite for casting directors, and she started landing roles in advertisements and small tv-show appearances in no time. It took only a year to make her big break, starring as one of the main characters in a sitcom on the biggest children's cable network at the time.

As Dani transitioned into adulthood and began to notice that other former child actors that she came up with were falling from fame, she made a strategic decision to take a break from television acting, instead busying herself with charity campaigns and theatre work in New York while she still had some momentum. By the time she returned to Hollywood, then, she had built up an image of herself as a talented and capable young woman, no longer a little girl, and had distanced herself enough from her roles in children's shows for casting directors to take her seriously as a fully-fledged adult actor. She began booking roles in movies and television shows again, as well as a handful of modelling gigs on the side. As she grew more ambitious and invested in furthering her career, however, Dani noticed that she always seemed to be cast as the exact same character - the sweet, dependable 'girl next door' type. So when her agent sent over the script for the first season of The Elementals to read for a character that fit that exact bill, she definitely had her concerns. In the end, though, she decided it was too big of an opportunity to pass up.

Though the show has catapulted Dani into stardom, she still can't help but worry that her success in the role has locked her into the very mould she was trying to escape. Having an identity pushed onto her by casting directors in combination with an already unstable sense of self led to a full-on identity crisis, and in an attempt to find out who she is Dani has been engaging in increasingly self-destructive behaviours; cutting off ties with childhood friends, going out clubbing into the early hours of the morning only to wake up still drunk in the middle of the day, and filling her evenings with one-night stands to satiate her need to feel wanted. It's a wonder that Dani has been able to keep her image squeaky-clean for so long, but the scandal tabloids finally got something on her when pictures surfaced of her getting a bit too cozy with an older man who happens to be the director of a movie she was previously involved in and his girlfriend. Turns out images which implicate you in three-ways don't align with the virtuous family-friendly vibe.

Put a judgmental, cynical writer together with an actress with an insatiable want to be liked, and you've got trouble brewing. Unbeknownst to Dani, Tobin Brooks is utterly unimpressed by her carefully crafted image and extensive record of acting credentials, which were seemingly handed to her on a silver platter. With his snark and sarcasm, it's only a matter of time before he lets the wrong comment slip and lands himself on Dani's radar - and when that happens she'll make it her personal mission to win him over. Though the goal may be to get him to like her, an unintended consequence just might be that Dani finds herself liking him more than she ever would have expected. ~~Poor guy doesn't know what he's in for.~~

Nobody gets under Dani's skin quite like Aaron. (WIP - they ran around the same circles as child actors and were once close friends, but Dani does what Dani does best and cut him off when she started getting more attention from others in the industry. When they both got cast on The Elementals bitter feelings resurfaced. It began with a snide comment here and there from Aaron, until Dani started biting back. The tension has been building between the two of them since season one of the show, and things just might come to a head this season. It doesn't help that their characters on the show have a close relationship, so they have to pretend like everything's peachy while the cameras are rolling.)

For as long as Olivia can remember she wanted to be an actress. Her mother enrolled her in a drama class when she was 5 years old and she loved everything about it. As she got older she began to act in production put on her by local theatre companies in her area. A deal was made that she could keep up with the lessons and local productions but she had to stay in school, once she finished school she could move and try to do acting professionally. .

Olivia spent nearly two years trying to get roles and kept coming up empty handed.

She eventually ended up scoring a small recurring role in a tv program by sleeping with the director. She told herself that sometimes she would need to do some dirty work to get her career going and ended up booking a few more adverts and small roles by getting close and personal with either the creator/director or a main writer for the project or by spreading a rumor about her competition.

She quickly became tired of the game and believed that the roles she was getting was not enough to keep up the act but just as she planned to quit and move back home she received a life changing call from the Elementals for a call back before eventually booking the role.

She’s relatively stubborn and is used to getting what she wants as she was spoiled from such a young age, however a spoiled brat she is not. Well, not most of the time. On the flip side though, Artem is kind-hearted and known for her work in modeling surrounding eating disorders and destigmatizing mental health. She struggled as a teenager and doesn’t want other models, or anyone, to go through what she did. Backstory

A native of England, Artem has grown up in the music industry since she was twelve. She started off doing kidz bop albums, but graduated to her own records once she was a teen and learned how to write her own music. She became rather successful, becoming the youngest woman to win a grammy as well as becoming the face of a luxury gown brand from Paris. From the outside looking in, Leila’s life is all very luxurious and lavish, however she has had some trouble on the homefront.

When she was a child, Artem always knew she wanted to do something great, and her mother always pushed her so that she could. Samantha Ross sacrificed everything to make sure her daughter could get where and what she needed to succeed, including her marriage to Ben Ross, Artem’s father. The two separated when she was fourteen, leaving a heartbroken Artem and a generally broken Samantha. The two were close as could be though and leaned on each other as much as they could until Artem became too busy. She ended up moving to the city to live in a flat with a few other models and musicians.

Being alone takes a toll on people though, and Artem’s mother wasn’t strong enough to survive it. She had a mental breakdown, causing her to be sent to a mental health ward where she would receive in-patient care. Artem visits when she can, but with her success continuing to grow, she’s unable to as much as she’d like. Then came the opportunity of a lifetime according to her agent, the chance to audition for a television show in the states.

It was a long and grueling process, but seeing as the character she was auditioning for also struggled with family issues amidst a pressured life, it was easy for Artem to understand and resonate with her. Addie Hart was practically written for Artem, even the casting director said so, so when the news of her casting came and people claimed it was only because of her looks and status as a musician, she was hurt. Artem has since made it her personal goal to prove she was cast based on talent.

PERSONALITY Description

Casually cocky, considers himself witty and charming to some degree, anyway. Just another lighthearted, wisecracking guy that makes stupid jokes on a daily basis. Not in a constant class-clown sort of way. He’s not always trying to be funny and not doing it for attention. His weird sense of humor sometimes comes off offhandedly or like a defensive mechanism. Early Life

Cappie was born in prison. Yes, you read that right.

Long story short, his mom was arrested for being an accomplice to her now ex-boyfriend's attempted robbery and was sentenced to three years. Before Cappie was born, Cassie wasn’t in the best part of her life at the time, used to be a troublemaker, made plenty of mistakes, had a toxic boyfriend, etc. When she started her prison sentence, Cassie learned she was a few months pregnant and tried to change for the better.

She was allowed to take care of Cappie in her prison’s nursery program, and after the first two years, Cappie was sent to live with an aunt in Queens, New York until his mom finished her remaining sentence.

In middle school, Cappie joined the drama club. Watching all those movies and re-run TV shows with mom must've inspired him somehow. He mostly thanks Star Wars, Power Rangers, and Bruce Lee for wanting to become an action hero at first.

He tried his best to ignore all the teasing he got from his school bullies for being a member, among several other things that made him an easy target. Like how he was smaller than most boys his age, and an awkward, weird geek with very few friends and not enough financial stability.

It wasn't always easy to ignore them. After getting in trouble for a handful of fights, the drama club kicked him out.

Cassie dropped out of high school at 17 and ran away from home with her boyfriend. That same boyfriend was also a manipulative bastard that threw her under the bus for a crime that they both committed. Her ex may or may not be the biological father, but Cappie never really cared about who his father was.

He loves his mom more than anything in the world. She's always his Number One priority, and if anyone tries to hurt her, Cappie will not hesitate to Hadouken the living heck out of them.

Middle

He got into photography after buying his first used camera. Later, he became more interested in the filmmaking process. He watched a bunch of videography tutorials, created his own channel, and very slowly worked his way up to creating his own skits and whatever. He was still a somewhat-cringy middle schooler who didn't know what he was doing most of the time. Still, he tried having fun with it.

In high school, Cappie studied in a nice performing arts program. In his junior year, he met his future first girlfriend, Chanel Clairmont. Initially, he planned to just be friends with her, for like networking into show business or something like that. All platonic. Yes, she did slightly intimidate him at first, but the more he talked to her, the more he wanted to get to know her better.

After one surprise kiss and one night together, he realized his feelings for Chanel were not quite platonic. (Act surprised.) After giving it some thought, they decided to make their relationship official. Whooop!

Unfortunately, there were some downsides to dating a celebrity. Mainly their schedules—it somehow got in the way more than he expected. When they finished high school, Cappie became busy with his college plans and making videos for his YouTube channel, and Chanel was, of course, a busy A-list actress. Their dates became less frequent, and... he’s still not sure what else went wrong. Maybe his insecurities got in the way or he was a bit too immature for her.

After 2 - 3 years, they agreed it was best not to be together anymore.

NOW

His college life was pretty good. In fact, he felt like he was living one of the best times of his life. But then near the end of his junior year, he and his friends got in trouble for a prank gone wrong. Half of his friends were expelled. Fortunately, his university allowed Cappie to stay, but he lost his scholarship. At least he finished his senior year.

After graduating, he settled in Los Angeles with a lot of fresh hope. The first year was kinda rough. He lived in his car for the first month or two before he found a decent apartment. He had to sell his car to pay rent.

Since then, he's been in one music video and a handful of small roles with five lines to none on TV and web shows. He mostly played as an extra, usually doing some stunt work. There was one sitcom leading role he snagged, but the pilot episode was never picked up. Cappie was unemployed again. He still works on his YouTube channel when he can, but it doesn't always pay him a lot or enough.

Then one day, his agent called him about that CW show he's heard so much about.

Originally, Cappie hoped to land an acting role on the show, but apparently, he must’ve failed his audition because he got a call from his agent telling him that the show preferred him on the stunt team, maybe as a stunt double or something. Was he disheartened to hear that news? Yeah, a bit. But at least he now has a job that would help pay his bills and, uh, a student loan debt that he hasn’t told anyone about yet, not even his mom. Shhh.

It's not every day you get to date your childhood celebrity crush, and somehow Cappie was lucky enough to have it happen to him. At least for a while.
