1,2, Buckle my shoe. 3,4, Let's RP some more~
I'm wanting to do some sort of fantasy RP along the genre of action, romance, adventure, and whatever else.
Here's what I'm thinking, though I'm more than open to suggestions -w-
A corrupt king inherited the kingdom of Iintal from his parents after they died from food poisoning. The whole of the kingdom have since come to understand that their new king is the one who killed his own parents out of lust for the power, and that he is absolutely evil.
Every townsperson is in debt to the royal family, as taxes have been raised to ridiculous amounts none could afford. Because of that, no family has the resources to move away, and the King gets free labor whenever and wherever he pleases. Just as well, there are a total of 2 medical practitioners throughout the kingdom, except for the 5 within the royal palace itself. Many of the townspeople are sick and dying for this very reason. As well as the fact that all food and water are distributed straight from the castle gates 3 times a day, and it is barely enough to feed a family of 2; none the less of 4-5, as normal households consist of..
King Gethral has been on the throne for 5 years now, and his son has just turned 17. Destin Marque knows that his father is cruel, as he has been directly effected by the daily beatings ever since he was old enough to walk. That is why he escapes the palace each night, disguising himself in commoner's clothing to walk freely around the town without being harassed about his lineage. Unknown to his father, the young man will bring blankets and extra food/water to the town each night, and leave it in different places where it can be found and handed out to the people who truly need it.
Another secret from 'his majesty', are the midnight gatherings in the main town square. This is where Destin goes. There are goods-trades, where people trade bread for a blanket, a shirt for shoes, a child's toy for a pair of pants, so on and so forth. It's also just an opportunity for everyone to get together and socialize, without having to worry about being under the King's watchful, and demeaning eye.
So, yeah.. That's kinda the basis I'm wanting to do. Beyond that, though, what I'm really wanting is for Destin to leave the palace to one of the gatherings one night, and end up meeting someone(male, female, non-binary, etc. I don't really care x3) who he starts to develop feelings for.
They end up setting up a meeting place each night, and after awhile they start kinda dating, the other never knowing that Destin is the prince.
After a bit of knowing one another, this other person(your character) says that they're going to take Destin somewhere, and that it's a surprise. It turns out to be an underground rebellion, their mission: To take down the royal family by any means necessary, and bring peace and prosperity back to the kingdom.
And then we'll go from there.
~I don't have any sort of minimum post, all I ask is that you at least try to be literate, and don't be super lazy. I understand being rushed for time, or just flat out not knowing what to post, and in those situations I don't care about one-liners, just so long as that's not ALL you post. x3
~Keep it PG-13; I don't do sex scenes. Other than that, I'm open for anything.
~I'd like if you can reply at least once a day, but I understand if you're busy, just try to give me a heads up that there won't be posts for awhile.
