Hello! I am a long-term role player who is currently looking for a group of people to write with in a medieval fantasy setting. Preferably around 3-5.

Requirements:

Please be 18+. Nothing personal minors, I’m just not comfortable with writing with anybody younger than that.

Semi-lit at the very least. I’m okay with trying literate, but please try to write at least a paragraph per post. I understand that we all lives, so there is no need to respond daily. Try to aim for at least once a week, but no worries if something comes up that needs your attention.

A hunger for fun and adventure! Also, a love/tolerance for more violent and darker themes mixed in with the fantastical. There will also be blood/gore. Think Invincible, Vox Machina, Lackadaisy, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc.

Not a requirement, but there is no limit to what you want your character to be! All I ask is that you don’t make them a deity or anything overpowered. Furries/ anthro OCs are welcome! In addition, your character can be an anti-hero, but all of our characters will be (mostly) good.

Plot ideas:

Aetherspark:

In the land of Rekronia, magic flows through the skies and roots like veins coursing with power. Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Tieflings, Beastmen, and more live together in semi-harmony. For a millennia, kingdoms have collapsed and risen in search for the legendary Aetherspark. This item holds the power to grant anybody a wish of their choosing. It has seemed that nobody has had any fortune in finding this artifact, and many who dare search for it are never heard from again. However, that’s not going to stop your character!

Whoever they may be, they are hellbent on finding the Aetherspark, and have decided that forming a team will increase their odds. It is also known that countless dark forces and malevolent empires have searched for the Aetherspark, and many people fear it is only a matter of time before they find a lead. It is said that the Aetherspark’s power to grant wishes can be evenly divided amongst multiple individuals, but the more individuals it is divided among, the more each person’s wish will not be granted.

For example, if a party of 8 found the Aetherspark, and one of the members wished for world hunger to end, world hunger will see a monumental decrease, but will be far from gone. If 2 people found the Aetherspark, and one person wished for world hunger to end, world hunger will be 99% gone, but in a country somewhere, children and innocent adults will remain starving.

Our party will set out to find the Aetherspark, forming a pact that if found, it will be evenly split amongst themselves. However, those who go looking for the Aetherspark are known to become magnets for trouble.

The Curse of Ky’Voth:

In the land of Rekronia, magic flows through the skies and roots like veins coursing with power. Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Tieflings, Beastmen, and more live together in semi-harmony. Your character, after making contact with an ancient artifact, has been inflicted with an infamous curse: The Curse of Ky’Voth. Those who carry this curse are doomed to turn to stone in 12 months time, and when they do, they will be doomed to a fate worse to death, trapped in bodies of stone for eternity. Desperate to avoid this harrowing fate, our characters meet and form a team, united with the same affliction and desire to escape it, even when no one ever has in all of history. Can our characters find an escape to the curse, or are their fates in stone?

I’m open to idea suggestions!
