Description: The Freiberufler Global Protection Agency is a very low-profile agency, consisting of many agents known as "Freelancers". Founded in 1945, at the end of World War II, as an extra measure to ensure nothing like-wise will happen again, the FGPA has been effective in numerous missions where other agencies or special commando units have failed.
Many potential wars have been avoided, due to the preventive measure undertaken by the FGPA. The main reason why the Cold War stayed true to its name was because of the activities of this organisation. While spying and extraction missions are the main operations, assassination is also used when necessary. Every possible threat is thoroughly documented by the FGPA and held under observation until a decision from the Director is issued, upon which the Agency acts.
Nothing is done without the green light from the Director, and all actions undertaken by the FGPA are the direct responsability of the Director. Currently, the Agency is hiding under the cover of a professional assitance company, where the members, each an expert in a different domain, help others with whatever they need. The company owner is also the Director of the Agency.
Members are handpicked by the Director and come from all corners of the world. Each member is an expert in a certain domain, and thus, upon recruitment, is appointed to one of the many departments of the agency, all of them designed to work as one big machine against potential terrorism, corrupt governments, dictators and so on.
