Onomatopoeia
My mind is a weird place.
Hello all!
So I've been (on and off) of the site for a few months now. My schedule is sporadic and demanding so my contributions have been less than stellar (my apologies). But now that life has calmed down (knock on wood) I'm ready, available, and thirsty for an adventure.
I've been writing on and off for about 9 years now. It all started with some random small scale RP's on a gaming forum I was a member of (I've long forgotten the name). From there I moved onto a Battlestar Galactica RP titled The Long Road Home. I don't believe it's still up. But there we created a masterpiece. Hundreds of thousands of words, intricate story lines, complex characters. I loved every moment of it. But like most RP's it died out. Myself and a few others splintered off and attempted a few other works. Namely a Star Trek RP and another BSG RP. Unfortunately, neither really took off and had the success of the previous.
I took a break for a while after that. I've dipped my feet in here and there, but after an attempt at NaNoWriMo (failed on an epic level) I'm really starting to crave writing again.
P.S. 10 post limit is a pain in the gluteus maximus.
