hi, my name's frax. i'm a queer guy in my twenties who's been rp'ing on and off for just over seven years now. i work full-time, so replies from me usually wax and wane. on a good, muse-filled day i can bash out three posts without breaking a sweat (though i may get a little repetitive strain injury), on busier occasions i may be a little more infrequent. i like to have ooc chat over discord about anything and everything, and when i get fond of a character pairing i tend to brainrot about it a bit. you know the deal. i'd describe my writing as semi-lit to literate, and prefer to write with mxm pairings. sometimes, in a blue moon, i can be swayed towards mxf, but prefer to write for the male character in such scenes. i like to populate rps with a thousand different side characters and create intricate backstories for each and every one because i am UNSTOPPABLE as soon as i find a face-claim. on the topic of face-claims, i prefer realistic ones.
i look forward to hearing from you!
about you
if you're over eighteen, plot-driven and interested in character building (and also in tearing those characters down systematically in an act of tough love), then i'd love to hear from you! for my own personal comfort and safety, i'd only really like contact from people who are (at the very least) lgbt-friendly.
i'm pretty ghost friendly - if things get a bit busy or you don't have the muse, i really don't mind you dropping me like a hot potato. put yourself first! if you fancy coming back after a while, ping me a message. i won't hold a grudge.
i like to write posts that are around 500 words. if you can mirror that, it'd be wonderful.
things to know
i let my imagination run away with me a lot and will actively plot very far in the future. i'd like it if you'd engage in that, too! if you're not interested in going in a certain direction that i may be suggesting, please say!plotting
as mentioned in tab one, i like to put a character through hell to see how they adjust to it. this can involve some heavy themes. please let me know if you have any triggers beforehand so that i can avoid them.angst and heavy themes
bored of something we're doing? finding it difficult to source the muse you need? if you're struggling, we can chat it out and move on to a different scene if necessary. i'm known for retconning and changing tacts as i go.bored?

A god walks into a bar. Ow.
A god walks into a bar and laments to someone about the life they've found themselves in. It's a lonely old existence, and now that nobody's into paganistic worship anywhere, they feel like they're not getting any of the credit they deserve for keeping everything afloat. The stranger they're speaking to might be a mortal, or a demigod, or an otherwise 'gifted' individual, but whatever they are, they become a confidante for this odd, cold deity they've found themselves in close contact with. Adventures and angst ensue.

In the chance of a lifetime, a student is given the opportunity to study under one of the most prolific artists of their generation. They grow closer and closer as their lives become intertwined with one another, but the student isn't exactly the amateur that they're making themselves out to be. They're an anonymous but renowned artist who's just trying to keep a low profile before their life explodes into something they won't be able to handle.

It's said that there was meant to be a new generation of gods after the Olympians took hold of their crowns. There was always meant to be a third revolution, inkeeping with the Greek rule of threes. This hasn't happened yet. Maybe it will never happen. But the skies are rumbling and the whispers are starting and it feels significantly like there's something, or someone, on the horizon, waiting for their chance to overthrow the deities of Olympus.
