Realistic or Modern Matched Till Death Do Us Part

He would protect her? Well. At least he was honest about it. Though she wasn't exactly reassured. He would try to protect her, and yet... they didn't even know what was going on! This wasn't an experiment! This was exploitation in it's worst form, and they couldn't refuse anything. Not. One. Thing. What happened to democracy? The ideals of their country? Down the drain for a utopia? Hardly. This was tyranny, and she was unable to fight it... they had, after all, probably found the perfect person for her... at the least she couldn't keep any kind of animosity with him.

Jake looked at Kurogane with a puzzled expression as he tilted his head. He smiled sweetly at her as he looked at stroked her arm gently. "What are you thinking about?" he asked softly as he looked at her with concern.

Dyr smiled at him, barely tensing as he placed his hand on her back. She was getting used to his touch, slowly but surely. It had taken her adoptive parents days before she could trust them to eat at the same table with her. Now, of course, she was much better, but it was still a little surprising how quickly she got used to his touch. "That sounds like a good idea, what do you think, little guy?" She spoke, directing her words at the small black kitten still held securely in her arms. He mewed, obviously aware that she was addressing him, but unsure of what she was asking. Laughing slightly, Dyr placed him on the ground and let him scurry off as she got out of bed, stretching out her muscles and straightening out her messed up clothes from sleeping with them still on.

"Seems I've messed up a gorgeous outfit, you have alot to forgive me about, as I have to apologize for." He'd nod, then lift his upper body up as well stretching his arms up too the sky, then towards his feet. "I suppose I'll have a shower if you'd not like to have one first. Though, I'm sure a boys smell isn't something you'd want too smell continuously, so up too you." He'd catch himself, giving quick glances as she'd stretch. His eyes focusing on her more, feminine features, male hormones being suppressed by none other than himself, he'd lay back down, doing his damnedest to keep his eyes on the ceiling to not look or seem like a man just out for looks.

Dyr could feel his eyes on her figure and even though her cheeks burned at the thought, she stretched a bit more just to entice him. This feeling, this power she had over him just with her body, it was something she had never experienced before, but... she liked it. Biting her lip slightly at his question, she shrugged. "I don't have a preference, you can pick." She replied a bit shyly, she wasn't really one for taking leadership unless the situation called for it, and it was within her own expertise. "And the outfit isn't messed up at all, so there's nothing for you to apologize for." She smiled sweetly at him.

"I see..." His next sentence trailing off a bit, giving a small glace too her last stretch before she'd turn around to smile at him, in which he'd smile back with all his heart, hoping she'd not notice them. "Well, I think I myself will get my shower out of the way, so I don't have the conundrum of walking into you if you're changing while I think you're still in the shower. While you do that, I'll prepare snacks, then when I go off, you can pick out the books. Deal?" It seems he'd already made up in his mind that he'd go first, for various other reasons than he stated, though mainly for the reasons he stated.
