River smirked as they all started to pile downstairs into the cold basement. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" he said evilly then shut the door to the basement shut tightly with a loud boom that echoed through the creeping house then Locked the door. "Dumb asses" he smirked then stumbled towards his bedroom shutting the door behind him taking off his shirt revealing his amazing box. "God they're babies" he added then Laid down on the bed curling up in the covers in the warm embrace "maybe they'll behave tomorrow" he said thinking for a moment then zoned into a deep dream.


Kaylin followed everyone down the stairs as a thud was heard which echoed through her ears sitting down next to Rain "at least we have somewhere to stay, hopefully he'll be better tomorrow" she said even though she knew that was the less of a chance out of anything. She curled up in a ball laying in the corner of the isolated room with a thin blanket.


Kellen leaned on Rain slightly taking a deep breath "We need to get some help for her" he said directing to Dakota who was wrapped in a blanket that Bailey had wrapped her in. "She'll wake up soon" he hoped then hugged her slightly then kissed her cheek trying to warm her up. "Maybe tomorrow he'll turn up the heat for us".

Rain started to feel pressure behind her glossy blue eyes. "Don't say that," she said sadly. "Don't get your hopes up I don't want you to be disappointed." A tear fled away and raced down her cheek dripping on the hard floor. She hugged kellen tightly moving her hands up and down his back quickly trying to make him warm.


Bailey sat next to Lorenzo. Lorenzo had his head stuffed between his arms. He didn't want to look up and see anything. He wanted to lay there and shiver, feel the pain so he could finally get used to it. "Are you okay?" Bailey asked.


Lorenzo just shrugged. It was a stupid question, obviously none of them were okay. Did the sad look on their faces remind bailey to reassure them? Or was it the cold that brought everyone to tears, I don't know, pick which one fits best.


He brought his head up a little to look at bailey. "Do I look okay?"


"I'm sorry......" Bailey said with embarrassment.


"It is okay... I am sorry, I shouldn't have been rude." Lorenzo replied with a deep sigh of despair.


Rain looked to Dakota and moved the hair out of her face. She studied her making sure that she was breathing. Rain went back to studying her gaze on kellen, and then kept hugging him.

Kellen gazed at the girl with bright glossed blue eyes in front of him then sighed wiping the tears away placing his on her hers "I won't be, I'm used to this sh!t hole anyways" he said then turned to look at Dakota who was still knocked out cold from River. "God I hate him" he mumbled then turned to look at Lorenzo slightly then with wide he spoke up in a hushed tone of he dreadful silence "Are you okay Lorenzo, I'm sorry for what happens to you to night" he then turned to face Rain taking a deep breath from the cold air then traced his eyes towards the shut door up on the staircase. "There was no reason in leaving anyways, there would he no where to go" he admitted but hated the words he said starting to question himself.

Lorenzo looked up at kellen with tears in his eyes. His face was red and sore from clenching his jaw for so long. "I don't know if I am okay.....I'm not quite sure if I know anything at all." He put his head back between his arms and his chin rested on his curled up knees.

Rain popped her head up and shook her head. "No! No! Why did you do that!?" She had fear struck in her eyes. "What if he comes down here!!!" She said shakily and feeling light headed. She grabbed Dakota and pulled her close just in case river came downstairs.


 
Lorenzo looked up at kellen with tears in his eyes. His face was red and sore from clenching his jaw for so long. "I don't know if I am okay.....I'm not quite sure if I know anything at all." He put his head back between his arms and his chin rested on his curled up knees.


Bailey looked at kellen and then looked at Lorenzo. Bailey and Lorenzo shared a blanket. Bailey's hands were red and numb, he couldn't feel anything. "I hate you mother f!cker!!!" Bailey screamed out loud.

Kellen's eyes widened as Bailey screamed he clenched his teeth behind his soft lips then held a finger up to his lips. "Why did you do that?! He'll kill us!" He whispered then squinted his eyes tightly just as River came down the stairs laughing hysterically then stopped in the middle of the room gazing at all of them from head to toe locking eyes with the poor kids that once were happy living lives on there own and had families that he took away from them. "Bailey read my face, Does it look like like I give a sh!t of what you think or say!?" He asking tilting his head slightly motioning his hand around his face wavering it around "No! So don't talk unless you want to say something smart!" He laughed pulling a cigarette and. Lighting it with a single match.

"Actually b!tch, I think that is the smartest thing I have ever said. Even everyone else in this room would agree, but I don't have to tell you that. Do I? Nope! Because you act like you know everything!" Bailey got up and walked towards river all the way across the basement. He immediately smacked the cigarette out of rivers hands and took the lighter of his hands and put it in his pocket. "Let us go! No one loves you! We just want to go! If you want some entertainment why dont you just jack off!? Your a prick." Bailey spit in his face.

River laughed as Bailey smacked the pack of cigarettes out of his mouth "Says the one crying like a b!tch" he said laughing hysterically "and actually my family's dead but I'm not complaining" he said lifting his arms up in the air "besides someone would get you anyway because everyone in this town that owns property is a f!cking master!" He yelled "if I really wanted to jack off I would". River shoved Bailey away slightly "It's not like your parents wanted you anyway, Your here because they wanted you too!" He added clenching his teeth "so why don't just shut the f!ck and sit down!" He boomed then punched him straight in the face. "Sit down" he mumbled then headed up stairs laughing. Kellens eyes widened as he charged over to Bailey "oh my god! What is wrong with him!?" He cried looking at his punch mark of where River punched him directly.

Baileys veins began to pop and his blood boiled. He got up and ran upthe concrete stairs. He bashed the side of his body shoulder first against the door and knocked it down. He ran after river and tackled him to the floor. He started pounding his side and he clenched his fists together making his knuckles white.


"Don't f!cking mess with me! Don't scare my friends either you worthless piece of sh!t!" Bailey yelled.

River was suprised at what happened when Bailey knocked him to the ground he grabbed Bailey then flipped him so he was on his back he hovered over him bending his arms back then laughed tilting his head peering down at him then head butted him grabbing a knife from his pocket holding it up to his neck "if you move or say anything to me again I will stab you" he whispered leaning down to his ear standing up dragging him then almost threw on the stairs slamming the door locking it. The room went silent as what just had happened upstairs Kellens and Kaylins eyes widened in fear. Kaylin stood to her feet walking over to Bailey and shook his shoulder slightly "Bailey?!" She exclaimed scanning looking down at his face.

Bailey woke from his haze and looked at all of their faces surrounded around him. He looked up and smiled. Then, he laughed. He laughed so uncontrollably that he became hysterical. After that he cried feeling the bruise on his head. He was angry, absolutely raged by what river did. "Why didn't you just fucking kill me!!!??!!!??" He screamed at the top of his lungs. "I would rather be dead than live in this shithole and get f¡cked by you! I said it before and now I will say it again!!!! F¡CK YOU!!!!" He yelled as loud s he could. "I don't care anymore. Leave me here to die. I don't care if he comes down here and be at a the sh¡t out of me." He said it while he calmed down and wiped a tear from his eye.

Kellen ran over to him placing a hand over Baileys mouth to shut him up. "Shut up!" He exclaimed silently with huge eyes then gritted his teeth waiting for the door to open but it didn't. He sighed in relief "he wanted to kill you he would, and I doubt he wants to kill you or any of us, River likes to just to torture anyway he can" he muttered then took a hand off his mouth "you'll be fine" he said grabbing his shoulders and shook them "Calm down, okay?!" He told Bailey straight up hoping that there wasn't gonna be any more drama than needed.

Bailey looked up at the scared kellen hovering above him. "Tell me something I don't know." Kellen took his hand off of baileys mouth. "And we aren't fine, im tired of people saying that because it is bullsh¡t." Bailey looked at kellen as he shook his shoulders. "I won't start anymore sh¡t don'tworry." Bailey held his head in his bloody hand feeling it pulsating booming against his skull. It was as if something was trapped and was trying everything it could so it pounded at his head. It was a bruise. He got up and leaned against the wall with his head in his hands.

Kellen shook his head at the dark haired boy by the name of Bailey who had blood painted hands and bruises along with fresh cuts swarming his body eating away all the good skin turning it into another mark on his body. He stood up and walked over to Bailey that was leaned up against the wall with his head in his blood fingertips.


Kellen leaned up beside him then put a arm over Bailey's shoulder "your gonna be fine, believe me! Those cuts and bruises will be gone in a little bit, but until then just don't start any trouble to cause you or us more damage, any of us!" He said in a low husky tone from his tired and drowsiness from sleep loss and depression that River can only make it worse for us. "Come sit down and try to get some sleep" Kellen gestured by walking Bailey over to the dirty mistress on the ground then placed him down slowly then sat beside him getting a blanket out handing the shredded piece to Bailey. "It's the best one we got".

Bailey nodded at kellens words then felt the fire slowly burn out in his stomach. He was sleep deprived and just wanted to dig a hole and lay there. He wanted to be in a better day, a better time, but he sucked it up and walked to where this boy lead him to and he had a seat in the cold dark room. The walls were closing in on them each day, their eyes were getting darker each day, it was like they were all robots, they're all emotionless now, there was nothing to look forward to. Kellen handed him the blanket. "Thank you, but, just because I'm hurt doesn't mean I'm the most needy, use it, you guys need it more." He said passing it back to him.


Rain came to sit next to them to see if they were doing better. From the looks of it bailey had more scars added to his already bruised body. Everyone had these, it wasn't anything new. She saw Lorenzo sitting in a corner hugging his knees tightly and just keeping his head down, she would go talk, but she might ruin his only chance of sleep. She looked at baileys bruises and winced.


"They're bad aren't they? Some of the worst I got huh?" He asked turning to rain.


"Yeah, but it will let up in a couple days, I'm sure, that's what happened to mine that last time." Rain said looking at his other cuts. "Owww...." She said shaking her Head. She looked over at kellen and smiled faintly, not wanting to come off as too happy to be there.

River leaned against the door listening to the conversation that were below the old concrete stairs of which lots of teens sat. He had violated a boy. Lorenzo in fact and thought it was funny. He had smirk to prove it. River locked the door to the downstairs tightly with several locks. Then headed towards the kitchen to cook some deer he had hunted the night before. Kellen followed his eyes to Bailey who rejected the blanket saying that they needed more. Kellen glanced up at Rain who was smiling faintly at him. "Is everything doing alright?" He asked "Is Lorenzo okay?" He asked furrowing his brows curiously and worried looking over at the boy who was huddling I the corner hugging his knees.

Rain looked at Bailey and then back at Kellen. "I think we're alright right now." She answered, gazing at him with her big blue eyes.

Bailey turned his head to look at the two. The shivering was getting worse, and one of his cuts wouldn't stop bleeding. The cut was on his arm, bleeding nonstop. He bit his lip, trying not to focus on the pain. The pain was minimal since the cold room practically numbed it for him.

He has so much hate bundled up inside himself. He wants to hurt River. If he ever got the chance, he would kill him. Bailey closed his eyes tightly, grinding his teeth. He clenched down on them tightly, angrily. The things he would do if he only got a chance.

The blue haired girl looked over at Lorenzo, about to answer kellens second question.

"I'm not sure..." She started. "But, in either case, it's probably best to leave him alone right now." Rain said, sighing a bit.​

Kellen looked at Rain with curious hues and nodded at her "Okay, Please tell me if you need anything...Honestly" He asked looking towards the blue eyed, Blue haired girl. Bailey was shivering in the deep dark basement that had no heater or anything. It was almost cold enough to cry sheds of ice. No it wasn't that cold but cold enough to see your breath. You couldn't see any corner of the room. The blood soon became constant making it go numb for him.

Kellen or any of them could tell it was painful just by his facial expression, Gritting his teeth in pain. "Not sure?..." Kellen asked himself quietly to himself looking at Rain.

"Yeah he needs to probably calm down before any other people may interrupt his peace" He added softly. River didn't care and began to grill his steak on his stove top. The smell lingered in the air filling it with scent of fresh meat and pepper. It made his mouth water.​
