Name:
Urdnot Graw
Age:

577
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
downloadfile-1.jpg
Stands at roughly 8 feet, weighing in at around 388 lbs. His armor is colored steel, and seems to be made of some sort of plate, abnormal for his kind. His skin is grayish in color, and his eyes and shell colored maroon, with a single scar running down his right eye.

Race:
Krogan

Class:

Vanguard
If Biotic, what powers?:

Biotic Charge, Slam

Weapons:
The Carnifex
downloadfile-2.jpg

Graal Spike Thrower
downloadfile-3.jpg

A sword, more like a machete, carved out of Thresher bone. Used for a variety of things.
downloadfile-4.jpg
Personality:

Graw has been to alot of places and seen many things, and has undoubtedly grown from it. He's a hardened soldier and has nerves of steel, but perhaps is a little softer on the inside than most Krogan. He can get sentimental at times, but he is very grounded in reality. He is very much a soldier at heart, and cannot very well understand the needs and wants of things outside of this. However, he cares very much for his comrades, or as he calls them, 'employees of the Red Threshers', and will go to extreme lengths to protect those he values.
Position in Red Threshers:

Captain/Founder
History/Bio:

Graw doesn't share much among his crew about his past. He was born on Tuchanka and spent a majority of his life serving Clan Urdnot. Sometime in his youth, he left his planet and his clan for an unknown reason. He wandered around the galaxy for quite some time until he founded the Red Threshers shortly after the War of the Reapers. Since then, he's been doing any job he could get his hands on.

Likes:
Arm Wrestling, Drinking, Target Practice, Naps, and explosions.

Name: Iyetu Thaok
Age: 25
Gender: Female

Appearance: A slim Drell woman whose skin shows warm oranges, yellows and browns. She moves with coiled tension, suggesting a trained, strong physicality.

Race: Drell
Class: Engineer - Mechanic
Biotic?: No

Weapons: M-4 Shuriken Machine Pistol, M-23 Katana Shotgun, Combat Drones

Personality: Light-hearted, good-natured, Iyetu looks for the positive in every situation and tends to enjoy herself wherever she is and whatever she's doing. That usually hides a streak of ruthlessness when it comes dealing with Red Thresher assignments. Like other Drell in her position, she values life and doing good things for others but sees her work for her mercenary group as subordinate, leading her to follow orders she wouldn't do on her own. Any harm caused by her actions belongs to the Red Threshers as a whole, not to herself.

Position in Red Threshers: Engineer, mechanic, weaponsmith, etc. Deploys combat and surveillance drones for recon purposes. Not bad with shooting when it comes to it.

History/Bio: Born on the Hanar homeworld of Kahje like most of her species, Iyetu grew up surrounded by love. The Hanar were kind, her parents cared for her deeply and she felt a great affection for her four younger siblings as she grew up. She enrolled in the Bright Clad Academy, studied mechanical engineering and had the pleasure of going to work with her parents building an advanced prototype for the next generation of Hanar spaceships.

The prototype's engines exploded when flipped on for a test, a blast she barely survived. Her parents didn't. As Iyetu recovered, she found the Drell eidetic memory a curse, as everything she saw reminded her in vivid detail of her parent's death. With the care of her siblings taken over by aunts and uncles, she opted instead to leave Kahje behind her for a life in space where she wouldn't be constantly reminded of her loss. Drifting from one boring engineering job to another, Iyetu finally landed a much more exciting position with the Red Threshers, maintaining their ships, gear and solving mechanical obstacles. She's stayed with them ever since for the chance for excitement, new experiences and maybe an outlet for her rage at an indifferent universe that let her parents die.

Likes: Fixing things, breaking things, machines in general, tea (and tea cups and tea kettles), stuffed animals, throwing paper airplanes.

Secrets: Her wholesome background. Iyetu often pretends to be a hardened mercenary type and tends to spin an entirely fictitious backstory for anyone who wants to know where she came from or what she's done. Her privileged education, upbringing and career prospects are something she never admits to.

Extra: Nothing at the moment!

Sariaphia "Sara" La'Biella
"The Phantom"

200 | n/a | asari

vanguard/duelist

or, I could severe his skull from his spine. Just a thought.
If Biotic, what powers?:

Backlash, Lance.

Weapons:

Sidewinder, Asari Sword.

Personality:

Sara is concerned with one thing, and one thing only: her survival -- at least, that's what she keeps telling everyone. Finding herself with a void as the concept of justice lost it's weight, she fills her emptiness with victories and luxuries, though the high is temporary and, once the battle is over, she feels empty all over again; this leads to what others describe as incredible bravery during battle, although the truth is, she simply doesn't care so much if she dies.

Immensely prideful, apologies and pity are rare responses of hers -- she is, however, supportive in ways, often lending an encouraging word to her companions, or attempting to make a dark situation, if not lighter, at least something to laugh at so the oppression is diluted. Sara has a way with words, and is gifted with persuasion --
if not with her bargaining, then with the thread of her blade; she manages to make just about everything a negotiation, constantly looking to gain from any situation and somehow always having something to negotiate with. Although her survival is top priority, she justifies her consistent defending of her allies with if they die, that's less coverage for me, though truthfully she makes a personal goal not to let her own fall on the battlefield, which is dangerous but commendable of her. Despite being a bit... psychopathic on the field, honestly, she is a rather pleasant presence -- an uncommitted flirt, a confident ally, and although it's her most hidden trait, Sara is nurturing, the most likely to do something nice and title it anonymous.

Position in Red Threshers:

Enforcer; Net worker, negotiator, handles contracts, works a bit like the Red Thresher's own Shadow Broker; she isn't always involved with combat, trying to keep herself below the radar for her own safety, though she is indeed a skilled swordsman and biotic specialist and is one of the best suited for the field. The one Graw sends to get a message across, as her emotions do not get in the way of her job.

History/Bio:

Sara was supposed to pledge her life to the Code and become a Justicar, though after one left her mother to die "in the name of Justice" during the Reaper's invasion of Thessia due to her 'dishonorable past' followed by Thessia's withholding of information that permitted the Reaper's to devastate the galaxy, she lost her sense of right. Sara abandoned her several years worth of training (despite being a top pupil) for a life of mercenary work, where she didn't have to fight for a cause but instead for a credit, that lifestyle eventually led to her joining the Red Thresher's. She worked with shipments, smuggling, negotiations, transport, inventory; but also as a hired duelist, for quick execution; she has a tremendous network from working with several reputable gang members, and is notably skilled with her words, her networking is how she's managed to stay under the radar from the justicar, and is also how she secures deals for the Red Threshers.

She does not have respect for her own kind.

Her complexion is simply a one in a million genetic condition; some link her biotic prowess with it, others say it has no affect on her other than cosmetic. It has however earned her the reputation of The Phantom due to her evasiveness and skin color. It is received as either stunning, or abominable,
among the asari, not that Sara cares either way.

Likes:

¤ Freedom
¤ Luxury
¤ The shine of her enemy's blood
on her blade
¤ Pretending not to care
¤ Speed, speed, speed. Fast things.
¤ Angara. She's both attracted to and respects them.

Secrets:

Sara was training to be a justicar. She is now considered a traitor to the Code, and is hated and likely sought out by many current justicars that want to end her life.

Extra:

None atm.

Name: Vorka

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance:

14a8554c4fa35d1717e48aed3a2dfba9-d6itvzv.png

Race: Vorcha

Class: Soldier

Weapons:
Cerberus Harrier, Executioner Pistol, omni-tool claws, flamethrower, omni-grenades, Ballistic blades

Personality: Vorka exhibits boundless energy and a simple mindset. Helpful, observant, polite (for a Vorcha) to his friends, but he is inwardly bitter about how his people are viewed and treated in the galactic community. His resentment surfaces during combat especially against mercenary groups that employ Vorcha as cannon fodder and other Vorcha who throw their lives away working for them.

Position in Red Threshers: Shocktrooper/Demolitions

History/Bio: Does not know the name of the world he was born on, only that it was a harsh world filled with powerful apex predators. His early life was spent fight other clans, Hunting for food, and running away from creatures that wanted to make him food. Around the age of 6 the Bloodpack landed on the planet and took Vorka as well as hundreds of other Vorcha from the world to serve as expendable soldiers. Vorka learned that this process had been going on for nearly half a century and witnessed as the pack would send Vorcha enmasse into killing grounds. Over the next three years Vorka was either in vicious conflict or being brutalized by the pack leaders. During one particularly bloody battle between two mercenary groups, Vorka's Krogan taskmaster attempted to force the Vorcha to launch an all out attack while he planned to escape. Vorka found out about the plan and took exception to it, which resulted in a fight which resulted in them falling out of a second story window. Vorka and the Krogan fought to the death in front of the attacking outfit, finally ending when Vorka shoved a grenade down the Krogan's throat, he lost an arm in the process (it got better). This fight impressed the other mercenary group and he was offered a job.

Name: Nell Versa

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Wip

Race: Human

Class:
Sentinel

If Biotic, what powers?:

Biotic Orbs
Lash

Weapons:
Arc Pistol
Omnitool
Thermal Clip Packs
Stimulant Packs

Personality:

An obsessive neat freak, organizer and planner, everything has to be in its place and every task has to be completed on time, efficiently and in the right order before Nell can even think about relaxing. Nell can be somewhat overbearing, despite her young age and lack of intimidation ability she has no problem bossing around hardened mercenaries in her endless quest to keep the Red Threshers shipshape.

In personal matters Nell can be a bit cold, she doesn't really seem to know how to interact with people outside of doing her job and reacts poorly, sometimes violently, to people crossing the boundaries she puts up or intruding on her personal life. If one can read between the lines however it's possible to see the concern she has for her crewmates in the way she always remembers to order some of each person's favorite little luxuries, or the way she never lets anyone enter combat without a full loadout of ammunition and supplies.

Position in Red Threshers:
Support Specialist / Quartermaster

History/Bio:

Nell grew up on a small farming colony, situated outside Alliance territory. The colony was independent, relying on its small size and obscure location rather than alliance military to stay safe. However this strategy could remain effective for so long and the settlement was raided by Terminus Slavers when Nell was only a child.

Nell's parents where killed during the attack and Nell herself was dragged off into slavery. Since she was too young to be effective at any kind of manual labor Nel was instead put to work as a kind of maid and beaten savagely whenever so much as a speck of dust was found. This treatment quickly drove Nell to become obsessive about her work and extremely detail oriented. Despite her fear of punishment, Nell grew to dream of escaping and when a volus arms dealer made contact with the pirates she was held by she seized her chance, detonating some unstable cleaning chemicals and then sneaking aboard during the confusion.

The Volus, a grizzled male by the name of Den Korsso, discovered Nell's hiding place rather quickly but was impressed by her resourcefulness and decided to let her stay, on the condition that she pay him back for the loss of a perfectly good trading partner by working for him. Although Den worked her hard, Nell's life was immeasurably better with him, he never hurt her for one and even took her under his wing, teaching her about the ins and outs of managing inventory, keeping contact with suppliers and striking a profitable deal. When Nell's biotics surfaced Den even arranged for one of his asari bodyguards to teach her how to use them while his quarian engineer taught her how to use an omnitool.

Eventually Nell worked long enough to pay Den back and struck out on her own, signing on with merchant crew that specialized in running supplies to terminus war zones and selling them at exorbitant prices to embattled mercenaries. This was where Nell met the Red Threshers and later jumped ship.

Likes:
Cleanliness, Organizing things, making money, Asari sweets, strategy games

Secrets:
Nell keeps the fact that she was once a slave secret, in fact she still has a brand that she keeps hidden at all times.

Name: Zal'Xaamun vas Naga nar Rannoch
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance:
e5bbfc7d7cb4555b88b8d74f9f2c104d--mass-effect-coco.jpg

Race:
Quarian
Class: Infiltrator
If Biotic, what powers?: None
Weapons: Quarian Arc Pistol
Personality: Zal is the best around at what he does and he knows it. He can often come across as a smug asshole, and this is not entirely untrue. He is also a smart arse and a wise-cracker, often making jokes over comms during combat, even when he's overhead rather than in the middle of it. Behind his smug, wise-cracking exterior, however, he cares a lot about his fellow Threshers, I mean, he routinely risks death and injury for them, or worse, suit contamination and mild illness!
Position in Red Threshers: Pilot/Vehicle Specialist
History/Bio: Zal'Xaamun was born to a family of farmers on Rannoch, in a small hamlet that had sprung up near an old Geth server base following the destruction of synthetics in the galaxy and the Quarians reclaiming their homeworld. It was clear even from a young age that Zal was someone who would not be content with the simple, yet important, life of a farmer. Zal was a child who craved adventure and excitement. His later years on his parent's farm were rife with arguments as Zal grew more and more restless for something else. As soon as he became of age Zal left his home town to join the Quarian's Planetary Defence Force. There he trained as a soldier and a pilot and was the best pilot in his class, taking to it naturally. However he was near the bottom in everything else he was taught and barely avoided dropping out. Whilst the military life was better for him than that of a farmer, he quickly found that, with nothing to defend against, it could be just as monotonous. Soon after his graduation and stationing defending trading vessels, Zal decided to take a leave of absence for his Pilgrimage, earlier in his career than was normal. He proceeded to buy passage on a trading vessel out of the system and eventually ended up broke on Omega. There he joined up with various mercenary groups and earned a reputation for being an exceptional pilot that was purely motivated by credits. It was this reputation that drew the attention of Captain Graw.
Likes: The Naga, going fast, (most of) his fellow Red Threshers, Turian cuisine, old Earth music, getting into dangerous situations, surviving dangerous situations
Secrets: Joined the Quarian military but took a leave of absence for his Pilgrimage. Was dishonorably discharged after he refused to return to Rannoch following the completion of his Pilgrimage.

Name: Noctis "Cross" Corinthus
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Turian2.jpg

Red Facepaint resembles a cross, while the White is more spread out across his face

Race:
Turian
Class: Turian Cabal

Tech and Biotic Powers:

Overload
Warp
Pull
Heavy Thow

Weapons:
M-15 Vindicator (Extended Barrel, Piercing Mod)
M-98 Widow (High-Velocity Barrel, Ultralight Materials)
Warp Ammo
Lift Grenades

Personality:

A pain in the ass. Often described as mean-spirited, or detached on best-case scenarios, but that's just the turian in him. Sarcastic and cynical, he's slow to trust other people and keeps them at arm's length. He's prone to make snide remarks. He's self-centered for a turian, but also ruthless to a degree. In that sense, that makes him somewhat reliable as he'll do whatever it takes to get the job done, though not at the cost of his personal well-being. This irks others about him, but others have learned how to live with it. He's also fearless. As Graw would put it: "the kid's got a quad."

Position in Red Threshers: Infiltration, recon, and sabotage. Typical diversion and disruption actions when not put on overwatch. Capable working in a secondary or support role when necessary.

On the ship, he's a jack-of-all-trades, and can help out anywhere(if he wants to). He mostly fishes out information when he has free time and makes sure the Red Threshers are well-supplied. While the Asari is probably responsible for keeping them afloat, Noctis is the one that makes sure their credits are spent wisely.

History/Bio:

Noctis belonged to a storied military family back on Palaven. His grandfather was a general and fought during the Reaper War. He was stationed on the forward base on Menea. His father was born during the rebuilding period, and later joined the Turian Blackwatch.

He was a second son. His elder brother was being groomed by his father to hopefully become a Council Spectre. The same was supposed to happen to him but he showed biotic tendencies, which was rare for turians. He was instead trained to become a Cabal.

The peace helped ease the negative opinions and distrust towards turian biotics. Despite their rarity, they've become a part of the Turian Military. Cabals are treated as a special resource, and units with one are treated like a special forces unit.

He was discharged from the military after one operation went awry, though most of the details were swept under the rug given his family's pull and influence. He felt ashamed and left home, and found himself doing mercenary work. Goes by the name "Cross"

Almost three years ago, Graw had to take a protection detail job as a favor to an old friend. Coincidentally, the ones who were after Graw's friend hired Noctis. Noctis was relentless, but Graw's experience made him always a step ahead of Noctis. Eventually, Graw and Noctis had to square off. From guns to fists, the two fought each other brutally. In the end, Graw was able to seize the advantage, and had a bloodied and beaten Noctis at gunpoint. Graw didn't have a fight like that for as long as he can remember. Impressed by his tenacity and resourcefulness, Graw recruited Noctis.

Likes:

"Nothing." (He isn't open about sharing what things he does and doesn't like.)

Secrets:

- His real name. He goes by Noctis Aurelion. Most call him Cross cause of the way his facepaint looks. Though some say the real reason is he went the extra mile compared to other turians and has a cross up his ass.

- During a mission to exterminate a notorious spy ring, his unit was ambushed. He was forced to make a tough decision: the lives of his remaining teammates, or the mission. He chose to save his teammates and let the targets escape. He faced so much backlash after the mission, as the spy ring was able to go under and cause a lot of damage later on. He was even ostracized by the very teammates he saved.

-His informants and sources are the few friends and connections he has left on the Turian Military.

Extra:

- He uses the alias Noctis Aurelion. No one on the team knows his real name, except for Graw.

- His Vindicator rifle has letters carved on it. No one can make sense of it, but they're actually the initials of his dead teammates.

- Calls everyone by their last name, except Graw... and Vorka who doesn't have one
