In case I look familiar-- I do have a general search thread with some basic info about me. If you'd like to know more about me, please feel free to take a gander!
This thread was made to help me feed a couple of cravings I've had for a long time; Mass Effect cravings to be exact. I do have a couple basic plots in mind that have been sitting on my shelf for some time, and I'd love to play them out. ---I also don't mind tweaking or changing the ideas to fit my partner. I recently finished Mass Effect: Andromeda, and I'll be looking to plot some new material for that universe as well.
I am happy to plot from scratch or come up with a new story line-- but I am specifically looking for players who are willing to play a male Turian or a male Angara. Everything else can be negotiated, and you're welcome to play an ensemble of cast members if you'd like (I often do, myself). My one request is that your main be a Turian or Angara. ---and yes I am looking for romance, but also a lot of space hijinx and adventure.
Update: ***Plenty of turians for now-- would love an Angaran and Andromeda related setting, at the moment~!

For this conceptual plot line I would like my partner to have a male turian character (Why? Because I like turians... that's why). My basic idea for it is a buddy-cop dramedy, with some romance splashed in. I'd like for this to take place either during or before the first and second games (negotiable though). In this scenario our characters would start off as c-sec officers that solve petty crimes, which would eventually lead up to them solving a huge case and getting promoted to spectres; where they would take their crime stopping ways out into the galaxy.

My character lived around the year 2020-- before space travel and first contact were made. During this time she exhibited traits of psycho-kinesis and the first generation of Cerberus (still a young, though secretive upstart organization then) took interest in her. As a way to get an edge on human evolution; she was abducted by them and had horrible experiments conducted on her. Experiments that resulted in the first wave of Biotics. Soon after reaching what they considered the pinnacle of biotic discoveries with her; they decided to test a highly experimental stasis pod that was designed to with stand the void of a black hole. After convincing her that she was abducted by aliens, Cerberus proceeded to put her into stasis-- and shot her out into space. Where her pod was sucked up by a blackhole and sent out into another universe. By luck she landed in Andromeda, but her pod landed on Voeld and was trapped and frozen in ice for several centuries which further preserved her. Now with Heleus being settled and most of the conflict with the kett subsiding temporarily due to the Archon's death; a team of Nexus archeologists partnered with Resistance researchers discovered and reclaimed her pod. To their surprise, the pod-- although ancient--- has active life signs. the pod is brought back to Hyperion after the life form inside is identified as a female human, where they conduct months of research and development on safely opening the stasis pod. Eventually they succeed, but with the reawakening of this mysteries woman from the past-- many more mysteries awake along with her. Now she must learn the truth of her abduction as well as cope with unusual biotic powers, all while coming to terms with the discovery of space travel and intelligent alien life. (You're welcome to come up with any background you'd like-- I can always figure out a way to have them become like her chaperone or something; but I would prefer they be a male turian or angara)
