Fandom Marvel: Ultimate AU OOC

Meh, who's to say where one is located?

Besides, traveling is very dangerous perhaps en route somewhere, someone needs some protection. Barriers are pretty good at that, I hear.

Phineas Forge Phineas Forge i think for you I am going to have the other part of the arc heat up beginning with Jessica.

The Avengers Initiative was approved and so was the Sentinel Project. Figure the first generation of Sentinels would already be operational and going about their mission. Some of which could go hunting Jessica as Sentinels are meant o hunt and kill mutants. These Sentinels could be meant to hunt and kill mutants, mutates. In humans, anything with powers really.

@DarknessSama17 i believe you have misunderstood my post

They are not aboard a Helicarrier but rather inside the Triskelion

The president didn't enter the Triskelion he is giving a press conference from DC that Vincent would have no way of knowing about while interred in the Triskelion's detention center.

this is the Triskelion right?

Can I ask a probably-dumb question?

From the overview on the wikia regarding the Ultimate Universe, it seems like the basic premise involves the world treating superhumans like weapons. The countries try to create and/or recruit superhumans to fight on their behalf which eventually leads to a confrontation due to the US having more superhumans than other countries. So the part that confuses me revolves around the Sentinel Project, because it seems to be the complete opposite of the entire premise in that it's goal is to kill the superhumans.

Can someone clarify this for me? Please and thanks. Also include, particularly in this RP, why a government would approve 2 completely opposite plans at the same time?

Perhaps I'm being too realistic about this, but if I'm a superhuman in the US and I see or hear about the Sentinels killing someone. I'm gonna look into moving ASAP and it seems like every other country would be more than happy to accept superhumans as they can be utilized as a weapon.

no matter the universe marvel realities hate mutants it is some kind of law of the multiverse as no matter what humanity hates mutants and wants to genocide them

They love making super soldiers and using super powers but mutants for some reason are hated this all happens in the comics as well

So the flaw lies in the source material? I believe that.

"We need more superhumans! But first, let's kill the mutants!"

"Uh, sir, aren't mutants superhumans?"

"Shut up!"

yeah the flaw goes all the way back to before marvel made everyone share one setting, they are also originally meant to be an analogy for being gay and the normal humans fear their kids being mutants and replacing humanity even though in ultimates that isn't how mutants came into existence

honestly it seems more like they want more captain americas and iron mans but they don't want mutants with different powers that have to learn and require all this stuff

Thanks to Karcen for answering this in my absence.

All i have left to add is to tease us that this Ultimates Program includes more than the Avenger's Initiative.

I think one thing that makes mutants more dangerous than mutates, magic users, and every other version of superhuman is that as far as it seems to humans mutants can literally be anyone, anywhere, and have any power. Mutants also appeal to their sense of inferiority on a cellular level because Mutants are often called Homo Sapien Superior and many feel the threat of mutants means the end of normal humans through evolution. There are a lot of reasons mutants are the most hated form of superhuman.

yeah you would think that with all the threats that have been faced and are public people woudl stop caring but well it is ingrained in the multiverse mutants must be hated no matter if they save earth a billion times over
