Hello all!

Short bit about me, I'm over 21 so I'd prefer you to be as well. My posts can vary in length from pages down to a short paragraph or two depending on the mood, plot, etc. I'm not perfect, there will be some typos. I work too hard in life to spend hours making sure each and every post is perfect.

I've migrated here from Gaia after realizing how dead it is, I've been in a long term rp (we're talking years) so I haven't looked for a partner in a really really long time.

I'm fixated on a Stony Rp and have several mellow to wild plot ideas listed below. I'm truly interested in coming up with a plot and story that we both enjoy, those make for the longest lasting and most fun. I love some OOC chatter just to talk about life, to plan future story arcs etc. The ideas below aren't locked in, if anything tickles your fancy and you're interested, or think of another idea based off the below just let me know!

Basics:
I would like to play Tony.
I personally don't believe in doubling. Real relationships don't work that way, we should strive to make something both of us are happy with.
I do however, play multiple sub characters because the bigger the character base the more plot points we can utilize.

Ideas:
So the more traditional: Starting right from the beginning, right after the Loki incident, Steve's only been thawed a few weeks at that point so his experience with the world is still pretty limited. With the Avengers Clubhouse (TM) being the Tower, they just have the opportunity to interact get to know each other's quirks. They saved the world from Loki and his army but that doesn't magically mean they'll make a perfect team every time and time shows this with future missions-there's a lot of ego to handle from both. There's no rush in anything for any sort of romance, personally it's not a focus and I just let that occur naturally. There's going to be issues with Steve being a man out of time, I'd love to dive into his issues with that. I don't think we see nearly as much as we could on that with the movies. Similarly Tony has his own hang ups and issues after.

Going far left field and stealing from a prompt: The cat/dog dynamic- because when you think about it, it fits in so many ways. Basically Weres/shifters are a thing, they are known somewhat feared by regular humans. Not only can they turn into animals- usually predators, but they're typically stronger, faster, and more durable depending on their animal. Not to mention the fun of just having some personality quirks. Canines are more group oriented, Felines more aloof. They're still the Avengers but with the added ability of being an animal shifter. Steve a wolf, Clint...well a hawk etc. Tony Stark, the Iron Man is brought in as the only human on the team. He's got his suit and his brains and his winning personality and a complete lack of fear when it comes to pushing Steve's buttons. "Whose a good dog?" and all. Again, we can play around a lot with that and missions and letting things develop. A big plot point for this would be that Tony is actually a shifter too, he's just always hid it because being a shifter isn't a crime but it's like being gay in the 40s, a quick way to kill your company. He keeps it secret for the benefit of Stark Industries and naturally had developed tech that masks his scent so no one finds out. Something happens when he's not in the suit and eventually it gets discovered. Team learning that they've had a big cat in their midst all along and it wasn't just T'Challa. Suddenly so many Stark quirks make sense.

Time travel: Something happens causing Tony to go back in time to before/right around the time Steve becomes Captain America. We can leave this in the past or have it be in the present, Tony tumbles through time and finds his way back to the present again having changed, or tried real hard not to change things. Plot sorta depends on what we want him to have done or avoid doing but when he gets back, Steve will obviously have new memories from whatever interact they had in the past.

Similarly there's the idea of either one of them traveling to one of the alternate universes which means anything is fair game. Steve can go to a universe where he's a hydra agent and has to convince that world's Tony that he's not, vice versa.
