howdie, — my name is rainer, i'm in my twenties, and as of this may & i'm officially looking for new partners to write with. many of my long term roleplays have either fizzled out or are on a hiatus, so here we are!
i work and i study, so i’m not going to be able to give you too many replies, but expect a response ic once a day or once every couple days. sometimes i might have to take a break from the roleplay, but usually those last no longer than two weeks, and i’ll be sure to give you a headsup beforehand!
i love to write & create depth within characters -- big back stories, complicated plots, meaningful relationships, etc. honestly no clue what adv lit or any of those terms mean nowadays, but you can expect a good handful paragraphs from me per response, with 3-4 as a general minimum to 6+ depending on the scene & i hope to get something around the same! i don't expect a novel, but help us push the story along.
i love interacting with the people i'm writing with -- expect playlists, art, and a lot of plotting whenever random ideas come to mind. i love gushing over our characters and antagonizing them

quality writing! interesting characters with qualities and backgrounds that really make us love (or hate) them LOL -- i'm going to try my best to create characters that mesh well against them & i love to contribute as much as possible to what we're working on. i hope to get the same back! it sucks when brainstorming is mostly one-sided.
partners that will let me know when they aren't digging it. ditching sucks, especially if it's for something that i'm actually enjoying or something i've poured a lot of effort into. don't leave me hanging if you aren't feeling it, just let me know and maybe we can make something new!
pain, angst, comedic relief, drama, romance, etc. i absolutely love it & it's usually hard for me to enjoy slice of life because of the tendency for it to have too much 'fluff', hope that's alright! i tend to lean towards plots with big-picture conflicts that allow us to have some constant, new ideas flowing through.
and lastly, someone who won't take this or themselves too seriously -- that's willing to laugh at mistakes they or i make. i just wanna have a good time -- this is my way to relax & ignore everyday stress!

modern fantasy setting where supernatural creatures are the norm (humans don’t exist), and they coexist. except there is a social hierarchy, where werewolves are on the lower side, and vampires on the higher.
and so, character a, a vampire, is the founder of some great company that’s done good for everyone. and he’s married! i don’t mind whether we make this an arranged marriage, or just a marriage that eventually grew apart as the two people focused mostly on themselves, but point is, while they have a great public image, things certainly aren’t as they seem behind closed doors
anywho, that’s that, and character b is a werewolf. he’s been hired to become character a’s body guard. maybe he had already been working lowkey at the company, maybe he was randomly scouted, or maybe he’s just a well known kind of guy in the bodyguard-ing industry LOL. whatever the case, now he follows character a around incase anything happens.
this plot would be centered around the two characters eventually catching feelings (or maybe immediately falling for one another), having an affair and even a secret relationship, and dealing with the aftermath.

i was thinking of playing the vampire in the pairing, but im fine with either to be honest!! mature themes will be bound to happen, and time period wise im thinking 18c
id assume that m/c wouldn't know y/c is a werewolf, and have just kept him like some pet dog, until one day y/c accidently turns back into his human form
not a super fleshed out plot but looking for golden retriever boys !! bonus points if they dont look like one

y/c is a big, scary kind of guy who you probably don’t want to mess with. or at least, that’s what he looks like. actually, despite his rough looking demeanor, actually owns a small cafe and is much more soft spoken that he comes off. he makes new drinks every week, tries to bake, and sometimes he gives the little kids an orange juice for free. all is well. well, it is until this piercing shop opens next door and all the walls are painted black, they hang up photos of women in bikinis next to motorbikes, and keep blasting rock music. obviously, y/c is pretty upset because it’s scaring all the customers away.
however, y/c isn’t the most confronting guy, so instead he decides to bake a cake, ice the words ‘please’ onto it, and slip a short letter asking the shop to please turn down the music and maybe put down the photos too.
unfortunately, long story short, the letter gets mixed up, and now the guy nextdoor thinks y/c had a crush on him.
