Some lady on the internet having a good time
Welp, here goes! My updated partner search!
About
Plots/Cravings
I'm looking for plots where I can use my main RP character, Rafael (that fella in my avatar!). He's pretty much a chubby, artsy boy that can be quite sweet. He would do anything to protect the people he loves. He also happens to be an extremely aggressive cop with some rather dark, less-than-legal "hobbies." One fellow RPer has described him as a "big cuddly murder muffin." I'm not 100% sure what that means, but I feel like it's relevant LOL.
Rafael is open for MxF pairings.Of course, I'll RP him with male characters, but it'll be platonic. Ehehehe, looks like he's into guys, too given the right chemistry.
In terms of shipping chemistry, Rafael tends to click best with characters he can protect. Sweet characters, friendly characters, etc.
Potential slice-of-life scenarios include, but are not limited to:

About my OCs
Just a heads up… My characters are from a novel I’m writing. They’re not meant to be movie star gorgeous, they're meant to be young, terrified, angry, messed-up people trying to understand where they fit in the world. They have baggage and they’ve done some very bad things. But they know how to suppress their feelings and get along with others in regular life. As they build emotional intimacy with your character, they’ll begin to confess some of their darker habits.
As stated above, I like to keep details about my characters under wraps because I think it makes for a more engaging RP experience when you discover a character in real time! But here’s a taste:
I'm happy to play both of my characters at once, if you'd be interested! (Prospective partners, if you go for this option, you’re under no obligation to double. I just love both my boys, and I'd be happy to share them both with you!)
About
- I’m 26 and female, but my two male OCs are in their late teens.
- I’m VERY OOC friendly! In fact, I love getting OOC notes. Clear communication and friendly relationships are important to me. Let's nerd out about our characters!
- I like to RP onsite, through PMs or a thread. Whichever we choose is up to you!
- I don't do formatting for my own posts, but feel free to format your posts however you like.
- I use third person past tense limited, though I can write first person upon request. Feel free to use any tense/POV you prefer!
- I also enjoy playing NPCs, if the plot demands.
- Sometimes, I'll introduce optional plot points. For instance, "Should we pick up that hitch hiker?" Feel free to throw optional plot points at me, too.
- It's perfectly okay to play a plot to its conclusion. We can always start a new thread with our characters!
- I don't ditch without notice and explanation. If I have an unusual circumstance that prevents me from posting or otherwise disrupts my schedule, I will notify you.
- If I'm stuck and can't figure out how to reply to your post, I'll pm you. If you ever feel stuck, feel free to message me and we'll hash something out!
- I’m a female who plays two male characters. Both have live action and drawn faceclaims (drawn by me). I will RP with characters of any sex, gender, species, age, faceclaim, etc. However, I prefer to RP with OCs.
- I’m open to romance (as a subplot) if our characters have chemistry together.
- Remember – IC does not equal OOC! My guys can be jerks sometimes. That doesn't mean I'm mad at you!
- I’m not a stickler for post length. I measure post length by word count. I tend to post 200-500 word responses, depending on the scenario needed to move the story along. A similar level of effort would be appreciated!
- It’s 100% cool with me if you make short posts if our characters are conversing over lunch or something like that. No pressure to write 500 words if your character just needs to order a cheeseburger and ask, “So, how’s work been lately?”
- You don’t need to send me a character sheet - just jump right in! In fact, I think it would be fun for our characters to discover each others' personalities, hobbies, and lives through RP.
- If you have any squicks or triggers, let me know before we begin so I can avoid mentioning those things.

It's gonna be a nope if my characters are supposed to:
- ...commit sexual assault/harassment
- ...be violent towards a domestic partner
- ...be in an abusive relationships, whether as abuser or abused

Rafael Navarro
Realistic Faceclaim
Drawn Faceclaim (art by me)
Male, 6’5”, 250 lbs, fxm. Brown hair, brown eyes. (Pssst, he’s the guy in my avatar!)
Occupation: Drafted member of a militarized police force, pursuit driver
At work, Rafael is the guy nobody knows much about. No, it’s not because he’s cool or mysterious–quite the opposite, really. Sometimes bullied for his weight and ethnicity, Rafael is shy, awkward, and spends much of his free time scribbling away in a pocket-sized sketchbook or scrawling something into his journal. Nobody cares to ask what he’s making.
Rafael can be a sweet, protective, sensitive, and loving person – but the operative word is can. He’s been burned for trusting in the past, so he puts up some barriers. He has a warm, loving relationship with his mother. They live together on their family farm. Marlon is his close friend and police partner. He's never had any kind of romantic relationship, and he can be a bit timid when he has feelings for someone. That said, once he's confident that his partner likes him back, he can be quite protective (not possessive).

Marlon Giannopoulos
Realistic Faceclaim
Drawn faceclaim (art by me)
Male, 5’7”, 150 lbs, mxm pairings, black hair, brown eyes
If you bothered to look at Marlon, you’d see a sullen young man, arms crossed, chin held high, and eyes burning a hole into whatever caught his ire.
After a lifetime of getting bullied for his slight frame, effeminate demeanor, and bad haircuts, Marlon has a lot of pent-up rage. Although considered a gifted student and quick learner, Marlon was largely directionless and feared for his future in an ever-worsening society. When he learned that the boys who bullied him were joining gangs and causing havoc, he found his calling. He enlisted in a newly formed, controversial task force dedicated to eradicating the gangs that plagued the highways of his nation.
He quickly shed his old persona, got a better haircut, started lifting, and began to cultivate a new image through smoking. Excessively.
Marlon and Rafael are best friends and police partners. They love one another as close friends, not sexually or romantically. Their relationship is somewhat atypical; Rafael and Marlon are protective of one another and express emotional vulnerability around each other. They’ve seen one another in times of terrible distress and pain. They’re not antagonistic towards each other, not even just to take the piss–they get enough of that from their co-workers.
