PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING.
Hey there everyone I am currently looking to craft an Alternate Star Wars universe (Basically our own canon) but I don't want to do it alone so I'm looking for fellow Star Wars fans who are writers and love to World Build.
The Canon we'll be making will consist of both Canon and Legends material if it fits with the lore and Stories we'll be making in this timeline specifically the Post Return of the Jedi Era for the sequels and it's canon lore will be erased (No offense). Our AU will be covering the Imperial Eta and Importantly again Post RoTJ Era though we could craft stories taking place in the Clone Wars Era but to me I don't think the Clone Wars Era needs any changing but again we can still create stories taking place in that Era.
I prefer my partners to be 17 or above I am sorry but I prefer my partners to be mature for the Stories we will be making together might have some dark material within it or at least mature and serious stuff. As for literacy I don't mind so long as you are not using one liners for example "She/he cuts X character's arm off with his/her lightsaber" I prefer just a little more detail than that but you do not have to write an entire book pages worth of paragraphs unless you prefer to do it that way but please keep in mind others will have different writing styles than you and as such should be respected.
My Timezone is Central Standard Time and I hope if you are interested and if you are please message me. I hope we all become friends and have fun.
Now I will create an entire dedicated group chat for our canon and the stories we'll be making and it will include a link to documents dedicated to our universe's lore such as the Timeline for events now there will be multiple rules of course:
1. There will be no Mary/Gary sues, as such none of our characters should be more powerful than Anakin Skywalker for he is the Chosen One and that should say enough nor should our characters be more powerful than Luke Skywalker no exceptions. I am planning to create a Tier system for this reason.
2. No irl (In Real Life) politics are allowed as to avoid any pointless arguments so please avoid bringing anything of the sort into the group chat as different people have different opinions IRL oh and please don't be an asshole for no reason.
3. NO GHOSTING if you need to be away temporarily due to irl matters or if you are leaving indefinitely please let everyone know as to avoid any confusion.
5. You are of course free to share any ideas you may have however if they break the rules of the star wars universe or break the canon of the Prequels and Original Trilogy and Clone Wars in any way they will be rejected especially if it goes against the nature of existing characters unless they make sense and if EVERYONE agrees to it.
6. Sequels will again not exist in our Canon so if you liked the Sequels and want to join me/us you are warned but please avoid making a pointless fuss over it the same goes for people who dislike the Sequels we are all just trying to have some fun.
