well hello! I'm Ro. nice to meetcha. I'm looking for an RP partner! here's a bit about me:
1) I have been roleplaying for over 10 years! Mostly in the HP fandom, but my previous site closed down and I've only just found this place, so I might be a tad rusty. Bear with me!
2) My day job involves writing, so I'm definitely doing this for the craft as much as the story. I like to write multiple paragraphs, and my guiding principle here is that I will react to what you give me, and ask that you do the same. Sometimes, a small gesture is as powerful as a line of dialogue. Especially when characters are shy, or reserving judgment. You know what I mean?
3) I'm online fairly often, but I'm not always able to churn out posts. I will tell you if I'm lurking!
4) While I am the one making this RP request, and as such I'll have plot offerings, I would love to collaborate with you on an idea.
5) Outside of fandom canon characters, I tend to RP characters that identify as women
ok! now that we've gotten that out of the way, here's a list of fandoms I am comfortable RPing with, with the characters I RP in each one. fair warning, it's a short list. I'm partial to "realistic" settings:
Harry Potter
Hermione Granger
Draco Malfoy
Star Wars
Rey of Jakku
Ella Enchanted
OC
MCU
OCs (will play with any MCU character)
now, here is a general plot I would love to try out with you:
Character A (male) is a Prince set to inherit the throne from his dying father. Upon the transition of power, Character B (female) steps up to challenge the royal family for their right to rule. Character B is the leader of a rebellion amongst the citizens of Character A's kingdom. As per the transition of power ceremony in the Kingdom, when a challenger enters for the throne against the blood right of the ruling family the two must enter a trial by magic. It involves a spell, and the first one to break out of it will be crowned the new ruler. Since no one has challenged for the throne in the Kingdom's history, nothing else is known about the spell. Character A and Character B are placed under the spell, and they wake up with no memory of their lives, instead in a world where they are in love, ruling the kingdom together, in a time of great prosperity for their people. To break the spell, they must realize none of it is real. But what happens when the feelings, perhaps, do become real? Will the spell ever be broken? Will the Kingdom ever have a ruler, or will they wait and grow weak while their two challengers remain asleep, under a spell that could last forever?
