Perseus would be pressing his hands together in prayer to the Brothers, his eyes closed, as his aura glew bright. "In fearful day, in raging night, with strong hearts full, our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the war of light, look to the sky, for hope burns bright." Perseus said. It was the incantation his mother had said to him when she had unlocked her aura. Hope was by far the strongest emotion he had ever known- it gave people the willpower to face tomorrow, with the thought that it might be better. True, Night was long and the path was dark, but the dawn would come.

Just like it was now- This world was about to get a whole new set of heroes. Look out, world, the New Dawn was coming!

Perseus would place his glasses on, before looking to check on Honey, before seeing someone talk to her. He would peer over, before he would see who it was- Tomar Lein, another inventor! The man was well known in the circles of tech design in Atlas. Perseus always admired his designs because of how solid he built them- Though not as flashy as he liked, they were strongly built, reliable, and efficient.

Plus, He was always a bit envious of Faunus- Those animals parts, they must be useful for sensing incoming danger, like strong sense of smell or hearing. Those senses must also help them with their designs, because they (while he thought they lacked flash) they had great functionality. Menagerie had a bunch of ingenious designs that Perseus found nothing short of amazing and simplistic, and if Atlas had actually took the time to use them, they might've been able to save themselves a lot of headaches in the past.

Just another problem his country had, Perseus thought with a sigh.

Perseus would give wave in Tomar's direction, that grin still on his face, as he saw them launching. Before they launched, he spoke up to him and Honey. "Nice to meet you, I heard a lot about you Mister Lein! I hope you and Honey have good luck! Let's hope we get put on the same team, shall we?" Percy said, before his turn came up.

Perseus would crouch as his pad launched him into the air, before taking in a breath, and letting out a big yell of glee. "WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!". He now had to focus on his landing strategy, which in itself was rather simple- Calculating the trajectory, using Nura to help him make it accurate, he shot the tree he was going towards, before using his Ice Hammer to literally cut into the side, spiraling in a circle towards the ground.

Landing with a soft thud, Perseus would just crack his neck, as he began running in the direction of the temple. "Come on, Percy, move your cheeks!" He said to himself, trying to pick up the pace.

Ardelle would look at Seamus, as he made mention of a bet, before giving him a smile she knew he'd never see, but know she would have. "Very well, but in that case, I would treasure the chance to be wrong once again. "She said. She was about to continue her discussion, before seeing another teacher approach- Her second favorite, simply because of her garden, Maria. The woman was too cheerful in her tastes, but Ardelle liked her- she reminded her of the sister she never got a chance to have.

Damn White Fang scum.

Ardelle would reach a hand over, and gently rub Maria's head, giving the woman a smirk. "Your Garden is a perfect spot to meditate and get some peace and quiet, so you know I'll come, Starlight." She said. It was a nickname she gave her, because you could NOT lose this woman, she shone like a diamond in the night's sky!

Ardelle would then turn her attention to Carmon's attempt at socializing and her surviving the entrance of another uncouth coworker. The woman wasn't BAD, per say, she always was friendly and generally kind to others, but Ardelle never got on with her because she just set off SO MANY warning bells in the Faunus. She smelled off, her Aura was off, EVERYTHING about her made Ardelle want to create a spear and shove it into her head.

The only reason she hadn't was because of Ozpin- Guy was a mad bastard, but he was a madman with a plan.

Ardelle would sigh, before looking over towards Carmon. "Relax, Carmon, you're going to give yourself an ulcer, and you're far too pretty to be touched up by surgical scars." She said, not knowing she was skirting on the edge of hitting a nerve. She looked to Knox and shook her head. "Don't let him get to you- Guy could stand to be a bit more 'civilized', but he is far from the worst person I've met. "She said.

Coming from Ardelle, when speaking about Knox, that was as close to a compliment as she could get. He, like Carmon, just rubbed her the wrong way. Grimm in general did, and though Ardelle DID NOT know that these two were Aura Grimm, their presence still set off warning bells in her head. She had had enough Grimm to deal with when she lost her team at Mount Glenn, and had seen first hand the destruction those devils could cause. There was only ONE FATE that awaited the Grimm for their crimes against all living things and it was a thought she knew for a fact many agreed on.

Extermination.

Ardelle would look towards Knox, before reaching a hand over a plucking him on the forehead, playfully. "Just in time, for once, Knox. Students are launching....now-" She said, before looking as they launched, and Ardelle would let out a smirk as she saw some of them come up with clever landing strategy's. "Least this went better than during mine- Some guy barfed on the way to the ground. Not exactly the best first day. "She said, her wings flapping lightly.

Who knows, maybe things would go right today, for once?

Aquilla listened to the Headmaster’s speech, eyebrow’s raising by the second as he kept going. I’ve got to hand it to the man, that’s how you give a dramatic speech. She was unable to stop herself from bouncing on the balls of her feet. And smashing heads is always a good time. Fighting Grimm was about all she’d been doing since she…left, and as much as she might deny it to her mental companion there was something exhilarating to throwing her entire weight into a punch and watching the victim explode into fine black dust from the force.

“This should be fun.” The Dragon rumbled in agreement. “It has been to long since you killed.” As Aquilla settled her weight on the launch pad, she couldn’t help a bit of a feral smile. “Although it is a pity you can’t kill one of these weaklings…”

Oh stuff it. And they were hurtled into the sky by the pads. “You owe me wings at some point.” Twisting in midair, Aquilla pulled her rifle free of it’s housing at her leg. “Because it feels damned weird flying without wings!” There wasn’t much Aquilla could do to slow herself down, she was a close combat specialist. “to hell with it.” Flipping end over end for a moment, she fired twice, each massive recoil providing some deceleration, before Aquilla flipped over, remembering at the last second to channel her Aura and endure the impact, and smashed into the earth with enough force to leave a sizable crater. “Ouch.” Rising from the dust, she gave the area a once over, before moving.

“Wings do need to be given to you.” The Dragon growled. “That did not qualify as flying, or even particularly falling. And I have no desire to be involved in something that…undignified again.” Aquilla grunted in agreement, before starting her way into the forest.

“Bet’s on what stumbles across us first? Student or Grimm?” her companion rumbled with laughter, but otherwise remained silent, something that never failed to leave Aquilla on edge. Swatting a branch aside with her rifle, she caught sight of someone in the trees ahead. Small, holding a katana. “Student.” Shaking her head a bit in disappointment, Arielle raised her voice and called out. “Hey! Don’t suppose you want a hand?”

Aryl had risen in time to see someone approaching him, and he rather quickly nocked an arrow and drew back his bow. He kept it drawn tight until the person spoke. It was rather brusque and abrupt, but it got the point across. "Not even gonna give me a name, tough guy?" Aryl asked, releasing the tension off the string and lowering the bow. "And if you think I can't handle myself at close quarters, you'd be wrong... But." He stopped, returning the arrow to it's quiver. Staying alone in this forest would be a bad idea, and far from productive, so let's go." He then said to him.

Aryl went to follow after him, but then realized which way he was going. "That's west!" Aryl called out, returning the bow to his back and proceeding to jog ahead of him, then making a sharp right to head north.

"Tougher than most. But yeah, name's Eisen. Now for yours, Mr. Mystery Archer."
He replied to the tough guy crack, not showing any sign of giving a damn about this guy's bravado. He just straight up challenged a guy covered in the black blood of multiple Grimm. He stopped in his tracks when the guy mentioned his proficiency in hand to hand. "Heh. Well, let's just say the only thing I have are my brains, body and balls. I'm most likely far more proficient in melee than most our age. We can spar over the top spot later. Right now, we have winning to do."

This dude mentioned that it was probably a bad idea to stay alone in this forest. Eisen smirked. Maybe for some punk who hasn't spent his entire life fighting alone. Eisen only joined this guy because people were going to be on teams and sparring eventually anyway. Might as well come up with team tactics and enemy tactics for as many of them as possible. But he just shrugged and started off to the north, waving the guy along.

He stopped when the guy got ahead of him shouting about heading west. Dammit. "Every direction looks the same in this forest. Bring me back to Atlas. I could find a specific pebble in Atlas. Lead on then, since you know this area better." Eisen fell in line behind him, following this dude deeper into the forest, supposedly north.

A thought came to Eisen after a few moments. "So, what are your weapons, and what makes them special? If we're teaming up, temporarily or not, I need to know."

"Aryl Mikado, pleasure to make your acquaintance." Aryl said, pushing past Eisen and ducking under some brush. An ear twitched in slight annoyance when he mentioned sparring; with how this guy acted he wasn't sure whether to take that idly or as a challenge. But Aryl eventually lightened up when he came back to directions. "That's why you look up when you were in the air. It's morning, so the sun is in the east. You walked opposite the sun, so you were headed west. Simple stuff, really. But I guess you only pick up on that stuff in Menagerie." He joked, cutting in between some trees.

Aryl's grin broadened when Eisen mentioned his weapons. "Well... since you asked, I'll tell you. There really is nothing special here. My axe." He proceeded to pull it out, and tossed it into the air. He caught it and spun the bottom of the axe head around his finger, and within a few spins he was holding an ornate revolver. "Does this, the only real mechanisms of my weaponry." He said. "Simplicity makes it easier to maintain my weaponry, and reduce the chance of it failing in a fight, you should understand as much." He said to Eisen.

"My real specialness comes from my semblance. I am pretty much a human match." He says. Aryl then bends down and picks up a fallen branch. He holds it up for Eisen to see, then after a few seconds the end of the branch ignites, and a few seconds later the entire branch is engulfed in flame, as well as Aryl's gloved hand. "I mainly use fire dust arrows, so this pairs very well with my semblance." He finishes up, tossing the blackened branch to the side and continuing to walk. "And what do you fight with, partner?" He then asked, glancing over at his compatriot.

"Finally, some people!" He thought to himself as he approaches the two girls. "Hey!" Colt yelled "Need some help?" Scarlet smiled softly towards the two females, listening to the two speak. However, she was a bit concerned about them, despite they came of off as a bit...strange. Even though they were like her, she felt a bit uncomfortable around them. "I am pleased to meet you, Catalina." She said with a soft smile, her hands rubbing her arms slightly. However, she was a bit concerned when Catalina started speaking, saying to stop acting as if they were normal. Scarlet blinked once, shivering slightly as Wendy left out a mental growl.

The dark-skinned female looked towards the other female who said her name was Aquilla stated it wasn't an appropriate time to be talking about...them. Scarlet couldn't help but agree. It would be a bit weird to do that. Before Scarlet could speak, Wendy spoke up mentally, "Get moving, the others about to start." Scarlet looked back for a moment, seeing the students lined up and some of the teachers were always at the cliff. Scarlet looked towards the two. "W-We should hurry, I-I believe they are st-starting." She stated with a worried tone. She turned on her heels and sped walk towards the large cliffside.

Once she made it to the cliffside, she stood on a small square platform as a silver-haired male started speaking. He explained what was going to be happening and where they had to go. Scarlet, honestly, had no idea what was going to be happening right now. She looked around, watching everyone. From there she could feel from, there were more. More like her. She rose her eyes up, looking around towards the teachers who were around as well as the students who appeared to have the same markings as her. Did most of the escapees come here? She snapped her head towards a large noise, it sounded as if something mechanical was just triggered. She watched in horror as the students were launched into the air.

Wendy stared intensely through Scarlet's eyes when she heard Scarlet shriek. She was launched into the air. Scarlet waved her arms panic-like. Wendy growled slightly, mentally sighing. 'You people are so weird.' Wendy thought to herself before speaking, "I'm taking over." It was all she said, Scarlet didn't have much of a choice as she felt Wendy's presence increase eventually taking complete control of the trembling Deer Faunus. Wendy straightened her body before zipping to the ground. The hair stick hidden under the headdress started morphing, soon turning onto an animal-like skull with large antlers coming out the top.

Wendy gripped the trunk a tree, her claws digging deep into the tree as she whirled to the ground. The heels of her shoes skid along the ground, her claws digging into the ground to slow her momentum. As the dust settled, Wendy stood up and looked at the hand she used on the tree. It was heavily scarred, cuts on her fingers. It even looked as if her arm popped out of place. The markings started glowing as the injuries started healing, even fixing her arm a bit. "Y-You d-didn't have to d-do all th-that." Scarlet spoke up, Wendy remained slightly, cracking her neck before giving Scarlet her body back. "You're on the ground, that's good enough for me. You should get moving now." Wendy finally answered as the aching Scarlet started walking forward, her heels crunching against the grass and rocks around her, wondering who she was going to bump into.

✰Sakamoto Yoshimitsu✰
Mood: Calm, Intently Focused| Role: Faunus / Aura Grim Dragon / Student | Location: Emerald Forest | Mentions: N/a (Open for interaction)
After making a full landing onto the forest surface with a loud thud and making sure to dust off his own tailcoat of any debris from the leaves or branches that might've gotten in the way of his landing. The first few moments the young Faunus had taken in to do was to make sure his surroundings were completely safe for progressing forward. Keeping absolutely silent to make sure there had been no movements of Grimm nearby, he eventually gave a single nod of his head before immediately taking into consideration that the Temple was stated to be towards the end of the forest. "Hm, guess I'll just make my way there now..." With that fact in mind, the male wasted no time to simply begin heading off in the direction that he had believed the Temple was within, the entire time he had made sure to use his inactive weapon in it's staff form as a type of walking stick for now. All the while, the Dragon Grimm seemed to had been much more quiet than usual within Sakamoto; it wasn't like it was a bad thing yet it was definitely different.

Whatever the case was, as he had continued on his way towards the Temple it was only a matter of time that the silence was finally broken when growls could be heard by some of the nearby large bushes. Halting in his own movements once the sound had been caught by Sakamoto's own cat-like ears from underneath his beanie, turning his head over his shoulder just to take a glimpse at the sound of what he heard. 'Heh...now, lets see if you've improved at all, brat..' With the Dragon Grimm finally speaking out, seconds later three large Ursa Grimm decided to make their own presence known as they roared and pushed aside the branches of trees and bushes out of their way to rush the single student who stood there. "Tsk.." The sight of this only forcing the male to simply jump back to avoid the slashes before shifting his inactive weapon into it's 'Sword' State; the gears clanking and moving internally to form the shape of what appeared to be a rapier yet it looked as though it were mixed like a katana of sorts.

Even with his weapon revealed, the trio of Ursa showed no signs of fear as they only rushed the training huntsmen in blind rage. With every slash of their claws, Sakamoto had made sure to deflect their attacks with his sword; slashing back at them with each chance he could but yet still with no avail. Truth was, he did not wish to have to resort to his semblance so soon into the initiation and have to rely on it for every battle he weapon through; even moreso he did not wish to go and end up using his left arm which had continued to remain wrapped in bandages to keep hidden from sight. 'You idiot! What're you doing?! These Ursa should not be this much of a problem for you...just take care of them and move on already!' Even as the Grimm within him shouted and scolded him for only deflecting and using his weapon as his own way of offense as well as defense, Sakamoto continued to refuse to respond to any of the demands that were made.

Azura calmly walked forward. There wasn't much to see. Perhaps it was because of his strange calmness that none of the Grimm have found her yet. While she was usually nervous whenever in normal circumstances, she's manages to make a complete turn of personality when it comes to battles. She knows exactly what entails when she loses focus, since she's been through it once. She was very lucky to not have died, Knox had been the one to tell her that. He was the one who found her after all and it took a great deal to bring her back to the land of the living. He repeated that time and time again whenever he checked in. It didn't make her feel any better, but it at least cleared her mind whenever she had to be in these kinds of situation.

The sound of rustling caught her ears. Mistaking the scent of Grimm for another student's scent, she sharply turned with her hands prepared to draw her katana to strike the menace down. She had unsheathed her katana midway when the other student's voice reached her ears and she focused back to seeing the student in front of her. She let out a shaky breath, her heart pounding hard in her chest as she slid the katana back to its sheathe. How could she have mistaken her scent for a Grimm? Azura didn't even know and she feared that she would've made an enemy out of student had she fully drawn the katana. She was intending to send a slash of fire, but it was good that she didn't do it. That would've been such a big mistake.

She had half a mind to say that she didn't exactly need a companion, but she knew that she may need one in the near future in the case when a Grimm would appear. "Mhm, I would appreciate the help." Azura said with a small smile. She then walked towards her. "I'm-" She began to introduce herself when she suddenly heard yet another one approaching. However, this one she was sure was another student. Aside from the fact that someone was cutting down the branches that were protruding out to hinder their progress, he smelled completely human. She looked once towards Aquilla before looking back at the source of the sound.

A blonde male came bursting through the area. He offered them his help, but then tripped. Azura wanted to help, she really did, but she would have definitely fell along with him if she tried. She was a light person after all, and certainly couldn't take his weight - especially with his clothing on.

She looked at him with worry and curiosity, but made no move to come closer. "Are you okay?" She asked. Her ears were drooped as she spoke, showing the worry that she actually felt. "You need to get up quick, who knows what might attack us." She softly reminded him before turning to the direction she was trudging towards to. She then pointed ahead. "I think the temple's straight ahead. North right?" She continued. She had her mind focused on the need to get to the temple so that they could pass. Her ears were now perked up once more, attentive for anything that might be sneaking up on them.

Catalina had followed along with Wynter until they had to split off and head to the pads. "Good luck." She said to Wynter before parting ways. She stepped onto the jump pad and watched others get launched, and she grinned in anticipation. Once she finally got launched she did a tight spin to orient herself the way she needed to be, pulling out he staff and keeping it close to avoid drag. Once she got close to a tree she held out her staff and let the blade dig into the tree. It stopped her, lodging the blade in the trunk.

"Well good going, your weapon's stuck." The Grimm quipped. She merely shrugged it off and looked around, swinging on the staff as she did. She spotted a close branch and hopped to it, able to grab it and climb on top of it. She leaned forward and dislodged her staff, proceeding to drop to the ground. When she fell she was met with three Ursa. "Well, they certainly aren't trembling..." She said with a grin, twirling the staff around and readying herself for an attack. Her arms were sore as hell already from the shock of her landing, but she could still fight.

"Well we should just kill these three then." The Grimm responded, growling in her head. She winced, but quickly regained herself. "No shit, sherlock." She said, practically growling herself. She ran forward and slashed at the first Ursa, jamming the blade into it's neck. She turned and the blade carved up and decaptiated the Ursa. As the blade came down she fired it into the other Ursa, stabbing into it's eye and killing it. The blade was yanked out and she stepped back, swinging it around for forcefully whirling it into the final Ursa, killing it as well. Catalina panted heavily, retracting the blade back onto the staff and lowering it. "That felt good..." She said to herself, earning another laugh from the Grimm. She then began to walk north, coming up against very little resistance along the way.

Honey could tell that other students had already landed in the forest, they were quite loud with it. Instead of doing the same thing, and most likely getting attacked by Grimm, she gracefully on the ground. From getting launched from the cliff, the faunus could see the temple in the distance from where she had come from. Though there was no guarentee that she wouldn't get lost from just transvering the terrain or running into the Grimm that inhabit the forest.

However Honey knew that she couldn't just stand around here and wait for others to discover her. Not when the risk of Grimm finding her first was the upmost dangerous situation at hand. The pink haired girl made up her mind, she was going to venture out into the forest instead of waiting on the others. "Hmm, I should start heading towards the temple. I believe that it is southeast from here." She sighed to herself, while leaning next to the tree.

The girl then turned aropund and gripped the tree bark, finding small gaps in the bark to slide her hands in. Higher ground should be ideal. Honey thought, making her way up the tree. Once on the tree's branch and safely secured, carefully timing each foot, she jumped from tree to tree. Each time she landed though, some of the leaves on the trees would shake off. It was tedious but she managed to cover a large amount of distance in such a small amount of time.

The bunny faunus heard some commotion from a few yards away, against her better judgement she decided to check out the sound. Honey wasn't a complete dick to ignore others in trouble, though she was just werry of others. Someone maybe in trouble with Grimm. The girl quickly jumped off the tree branch she was on. Carefully sneaking on her toes, Honey made her way to a row of bushes to investigate the noise.

Looking through the bushes, she could see another student faunus battling three Ursa Grimm. He looked to be having quite a difficult time with facing them, though this was from her perspective. Perhaps he was just baiting them into a trap and waiting to strike at the perfect time? Who knows. All Honey knew was that a person needed help, despite her need in order to avoid such activites because of her semblance.

"Alright. I'll just help him then be on my way to the temple. Think of this just as pay back for earlier." She reminded herself, before tip-toeing away from the bush. After backing up a few yards away from the bushes, she started running at full speed towards the clearing. "Watch out." Honey jumped over the bushes and did a quick backflip, kicking the nearest Grimm away from the boy. The Grimm was sent flying into the other Grimm, knocking the trio over.

Throughout the entire battle between the male and the trio of Ursa Grimm, Sakamoto could only continue to defend himself from each strike the Grimm had attempted to land onto him; eventually his choices became more and more limited as he reached closer and closer to the point of having no other choice but having to use hidden arm as his assistance. Although, right as he had prepared to extend his arm forward to block the next strike of the claws from the Ursa Grimm; an unexpected ally had decided to make themselves known just to end up striking towards one of the Grimms to send them flying into the other two causing them to crash through multiple trees of the forest. The sounds of multiple trees collapsing over echoed throughout the Emerald Forest for multiple other Grimms to be able to hear yet as well that the three Ursa did not seem to go down too easily. While they stumbled to gain their footing once again before deciding to charge forward; Sakamoto had brought his attention over towards the unexpected ally only to find as it had appeared to had been the same light haired female that he assisted earlier on the cliff to find her glasses.

"Um, thank you...?" Questioning the woman in a rather curious tone since he had not believed to see any other student who was actually nearby when he had made sure to check his surroundings thoroughly before actually moving forward once he had landed. As the sounds of the roaring and growling from the Ursa preparing to return into battle caught his gaze immediately after thanking the woman, his gaze only turned in the direction of the beast with his grip upon his weapon tightening. "Shouldn't you be heading to the Temple like the other students...? I didn't think there was still anyone else around..." Speaking out even as his gaze was locked upon the direction of the incoming Grimm, he clenched his fist of his bandaged right arm just in case he was forced to have no other choice but to fight with his arm in the end.

As soon as the hammer struck, the large Ursa went flying backwards, crashing through several trees and uplifting the ground in the process before coming to a sudden halt at the base of another. Several seconds passed, Griselda waiting in tense silence, sensing immediately that the beast wasn't dead and evaporating like it should have with such a powerful hit. Her worries were confirmed when she heard a growl, the Grimm slowly getting back on all fours. She cursed, slowly approaching it with her weapon poised in front of her, about to put the being out of its misery, when her eyes met the Ursa's and she paused. Red and yellow orbs which were a reflection of her own stared back at her. As the creature cocked its head almost in a questioning gesture, seeming to oddly study her rather than outright attack her, she suddenly found herself wondering if it was truly soulless like the people of Remnant had been led to believe. She wondered if it could sense she also had one of its kind in her. And speaking of Dusk, he was oddly silent.

The Grimm before her bared its teeth and roared as she got closer. Was that why it was hesitating, acting like a true animal rather than attack her with its endless rage that Grimm were known for? Why was it acting so strange?

"What the hell am I doing?!" She muttered aloud, snapping out of it. Why was she considering such a thing at this particular moment, especially now of all times? Was she trying to get herself killed?

As if the Ursa was also questioning what was going on, it shook its head and lunged at her once more. Out of instinct, Griselda jumped up in the air, doing a flip as the beast continued to run inches beneath her, and slammed her hammer on its back, making it crumble beneath her in a heap. If it even had a true spine, it was broken now..

She sighed, watching as the Grimm slowly evaporated. She'd have to consider this all later, when she wasn't taking a major exam. She could sense both grimm and aura grimm alike off a ways in the forest. She needed to hurry and find the temple...that is, if she could figure out what direction it was in. Then she remembered. North. She needed to go north. For what seemed like a long time she ran, not even breaking a sweat due to what she would like to presume was her natural built stamina, but that probably wasn't the case, not with Dusk inside her at any rate.

At that moment she saw a young man with long black hair off in the distance ahead of her. She jogged up to him, keeping a careful distance away as to not accidentally be struck by his weapon, which appeared to be a parasol of some kind and called out just loud enough that he could hopefully hear her, "Please, wait!" When she had caught up to him, she added, "Mind if we head to the temple together? There's safety in numbers."

And they would need just that, as she could feel what appeared to be a small pack of Grimm approaching them at a quick pace. Beowolfs, she wagered.

"I didn't think of that. My teacher would have my ass. Plus until that little clearing we met in, I didn't see the sun. So. Menagerie Faunus. Some sort of canine, judging by the shape of the ears.I'm an Atlas Human. Homeschooled till just now. Only ever spent time with one man for the last ten years, my teacher. Here I am now, that's the end of my backstory."

Eisen watched him explained his weapons, mildly impressed due to his lack of weapon. The other's weapons were kind of cool, and maybe he'd take inspiration from a few when he finally forged his. If he ever felt like he was ready for it. He couldn't help but roll his eyes when Aryl twirled his weaponry. So he was that kind of fighter. That knowledge would be put away for later analysis.
.
"Were you not listening? I said brain, body, balls. I fight with the weapons I was born with. My master was adamant on perfecting the body before adding a weapon, or the weapon becomes a crutch. I don't know if that's true for everyone, but that's how I roll." Eisen went silent for a moment, and then decided that Aryl seemed alright enough to trust with a bit of info about his semblance. He wasn't about to be this guy's best friend, but he could roll with him for the time being.

And Aryl was a pyro. Nice. Wanton destruction was useful at times. "My semblance is telekinesis. I throw shit by taking a moment to put some aura into it. That includes myself. It's a ton of fun."

They came upon a rather tall hill, and Eisen ran ahead to the top, using a bit of his semblance to shove himself up the slope whenever his speed started to fall. Upon reachingf the top, he saw a bit of what was probably ruins poking through the tops of the trees. It was still a fair distance away, but at least he knew

"Cool. I can see it. I hope we find some Grimm on the way. I'm itching for a proper fight."

Aryl nodded, slightly embarrassed that he overlook the fact he did not have a weapon. "Right..." He said quietly. "And your master is a wise man, although a weapon is something you pick up and use. It has to harmomize with you, if that makes sense. You conform to it as much as it conforms to you." He said, proceeding to jog up the hill. He saw the edge of the ruins as well and smiled a bit. He changed the revolved back to a hand axe and sheathed it. "Looks like we may be first." He said, proceeding to jog back down the hill.

When he reached the ground he heard a faint growl, and a Beowulf jumped out at him, knocking him to the ground. Three more followed suit. Aryl stood, grabbed his bow and nocked in arrow. A finger went and trailed the arrowhead, lighting it on fire. He released the arrow and sent the flaming projectile to the nearest Beowulf, it striking home in it's head and exploding, sending it sprawling back several feet.

Honey was surprised by the force of her kick, she underestimated herself clearly. The bunny faunus thought her kick didn't use that much power behind it, perhaps it was because of her gaining speed in the first place. She focused on the Grimm she had kicked into the nearby trees, the sound of breaking branches had caught her attention. Seeing the surrounding area, they would need to move quickly before any other Grimm started popping their ugly heads up.

Glancing back towards the other faunus male behind her, she simply nodded towards him. Her eyes were still the color of grey, though inside her eyes was swirling with specks of black and gold. Honey flicked her wrist out, her small rope transformed back into her small little bracelet. She spoke out while quickly dusting off her shoes, "Well as much as I could agree with you on that....can't ignore seeing a person in trouble."

The girl readjusted her glasses, fumbling with them around in her hands to wipe them off. She looked like she was having some difficulty cleaning her glasses, though it was exactly the case. Eventually the female managed to clean her glasses completely, slipping them back onto her face. "Well shouldn't we leave the area quickly before those Grimm show up again? I saw that the temple in the southwest area form here." The girl informed him while making sure that she kept her eyes on the forest.

She had to make sure that this person wasn't going to get hurt while fighting grimm, she didn't per say doubt his abilities though. From what she had seen, he did have decent potential to be a great huntsman and team mate to anyone there. Upon hearing the growling of the now returning Ursa, Honey made a motion with her wrist towards the back of her. "Well as soon as I start fighting, I want you to run while I fight these Grimm." Without missing a beat, the bunny faunus launched herself against at the nearest Grimm and kicked it away.

"Well, that's why I'm not worthy of wielding a weapon. I'm the most unharmonious bastard in our year." Eisen called over his meaty shoulder as Aryl caught up. He turned back to survey the area with his squinted red eyes, the sun giving him a bit of trouble. If Eisen had a collar, he'd probably be yanking on in and sweating bullets. It was rather warm today, and to his sensitive, paper-white skin, it might as well have been a scorching mid-summer day.

The sooner they got back under the trees, the better.

Eisen snorted when Aryl mentioned being first. "Doubtful. You're with me now. I never get that lucky. For your safety, pray we aren't on the same team."

His conversation was drawn short by the growl of a small pack of Beowolves. A wicked grin grew across his face, and a manic twinkle gleamed in his sanguine eyes as he threw himself down the hill at the three that didn't just get their face blown up. He landed next to the nearest one briefly, just to use an aura and gravity-aided backhand to stun the first one.

"Your welcome!"

Eisen flung himself further down the hill, to the other two, covering the large A-B distance in moments. He landed on one, his hands latching for dear life upon its spines as it began to flail to throw him off. After a moment's concentration, he drove himself downward, smashing the Beowolf into the ground with enough force to break its spine. The beast lived, but it went limp in the rear.

But that took a toll. His vision narrowed, and he got violently dizzy for a brief moment. Enough time for the other Beowolf to clobber him. Eisen stumbled back, but held his ground, and stared the Beowolf in the face, red to orange. "Why you coming at me? Do I look afraid to you?" Eisen growled as his smile grew even more, the maliciousness growing to pure violence, his eyes widening in anticipation.

The Beowolf lunged, not intimidated by Eisen's speech. No time to go to the side, no time to retreat uphill. That left only one option. Straight forward.

Eisen physically lunged, his steel palm coming forward to meet the claws. His foe's attack stopped dead, but his arm didn't like that. Sparks shot from his shoulder, and his steel arm spasmed, as did he, from the electrical feedback into his nervous system. But he didn't let that stop him. Using his semblance to ignore his muscles seizing, his fist smashed into the Beowolf's chin.

He took the moment to whirl himself around and stomp on the neck of the paraplegic behind him, before turning back towards the actual threat and taking a swipe across the torso. Eisen ignored his body's complaining and stepped forward once more, directly into the guard of the monster before him. His left foot planted, rooting like the trees surrounding them, and crouching as his other leg swung up. His left leg straightened once more, causing his right heel to smash upward into the Grimm's diaphragm with devastating force, his legs perfectly split as he rolled his torso parallel to the earth beneath him. A maniacal laugh escaped his pale lips as he felt the Beowolf lift off the ground.

Risking it one more, he ran his aura into his left arm, and sent it forward, his fingers straightened, and put his arm through the Beowolf's chest. As that one fell, he turned once more and beat the crippled one to death over the course of the next several seconds. Eisen returned to his feet, covered in blood both his and theirs, gasping for air and still seizing slightly, now that his telekinesis wasn't holding his body still.

With the glorious ultra-violence gone for the time being, he leaned heavily against a nearby tree, to catch his breath, and choke back another wave of nausea. "Overdid a bit there, throwing my fat ass around." Eisen murmured to no one in particular before starting forward towards the north again, needing to find a (relatively) safe spot to fix his shoulder. Aryl would catch up, but Eisen did not have the luxury of waiting. His aura was rather drained, throwing his well over two-hundred pounds of muscle and metal around. But it brought a thought to his mind. And he had taken a few heavy hits. That was going to complicate things once the adrenaline wore off. One armed? Not in this condition, and not while he could help it.

His teacher would've had his ass twice today. His face twitched before calling out to Aryl.

"Oi, you. Catch up. I got to find a quiet spot to fix my arm."
He said as he pulled a hidden lever on his arm, locking it in it's current position.

And with that he took off like a bolt towards the north, glancing up at the sky briefly to make sure he was indeed going north this time. He was going to need one hell of a nap when this was all over. But he would manage, as he always did. And he would kick its ass, as he always did... except for once.

As they got within eyeshot of the ruins, although a few hundred feet of trees still stood between them and it, Eisen slowed down, his breath heavy but steadying out quickly, "I'll be ready for round two after field repairs. Let's be the first ones back." While he certainly wouldn't tell Aryl, Eisen was already considering strategy for encounters on the way back. He wasn't used to this arm in combat, and he was in rougher shape than his straightforward egoism would ever allow him to admit. It would have to be a far more practical approach.

He gave Aryl a wicked grin and then picked up the pace, jogging the rest of the way to the clearing that contained the ruins fighting the urge to wince as his footsteps pounded in his head.

At first, after the assistance from the female student and listening to the statement that she had brought up of the two of them heading straight for the temple at which was in the southwest direction of the forest from what she stated. Right as Sakamoto had turned his back to prepare to make his way towards the temple, the sound of the growling and roaring of the Ursa rushing back towards the duo had been the only thing to actually halt his movements as he turned his crystal blue gaze back towards the female student who gave an order for him to retreat while she fought. 'Yes...Run kid...Just like that day...Run and don't look back as others die...' With the dark menacing voice of the Grimm echoing his mocking words throughout the mind of the young disguised faunus male. He only ended up reaching his bandaged arm to the side of his head while clenching it firmly at the mocking.

Eventually, once the female student rushed off into battle; the sound of the clashing and roaring of the Grimm battling against the woman only had him begin conflicting his thoughts about what to do. Finally, after a few moments had passed and the fighting had continued; the voice of laughter from the Grimm had finally been enough to push Sakamoto over his edge as he rushed forward from behind the female Faunus, clashing and holding his blade against the claws of one of the Ursa Grimm to keep it in place. All the while holding his weapon to keep the Grimm back from attacking the female student, slowly but surely his own semblance would start to activate from all around him at once.

In moments as time passed, the trees from all around both himself as well as the female student along with the other two ursa that fought against the duo had began to freeze over as the sight of cold mist followed by frost started to envelope most of the area the two students fought in. Turning his head over his shoulder while Sakamoto struggled to keep the Grimm in place with his weapon still, the only bit of gaze he could show the other student was the flash of his own crimson hue in one of his eyes as a slight bit of sign that the Dragon Grimm leaked out some of his own strength and energy at once. "If you're going to be apart the academy...You need to learn to rely on help from others too...Don't think...you can handle all of this yourself..." Speaking out with his voice mixed in with a rather dark distorted tone of the Dragon's voice as well, just as he was speaking to her; his attention had been too distracted to realize one of the other Ursa rushing over just to smack Sakamoto and send him flying right over by one of the trees causing it to begin crackling and slowly falling by the spot where he had made contact with.

Maria was completely mad at Karma, his complete disregard of another's safety and doing whatever he wanted. The white haired girl knew that he was extremely difficult to deal with, however she wouldn't let this one issue go. "Honestly watch where you arrive! What if you had damaged the student's aura before the test? They would've been at a severe disadvantage." She was promptly scolded him.

She could never understand what was going through that wild man's mind. His mind seemed to be one of the world's greatest mysteries, at least to the female teacher that was. The white haired female huffed in annoyance, her light blue eyes darted towards the other students. "Well looks like everyone is having a great time down there...makes me wish I was still in school myself." She stated while watching the last of the students get launched into the forest.

They seemed to be doing ok in the forest, launching from the launch pads and what not. Well at least Ardelle was still acting like a responsible adult around here. Ozpin was mostly the grandparent of the group, only stepping in when there happened to be fighting among the siblings. Her thoughts began to think back towards earlier, trying to calming herself with the thoughts of gardens. Maria enjoyed her older "sibling" affectionate gesture.

The white haired female then turned and smiled at Ardelle calmly. "Thanks for that. I really needed it." Her smile was quick and brief. The girl hoped that her other female teacher didn't catch onto her fading expression as she glanced away. Her thoughts were still swarming around in her head while turning her attention back towards the forest.

O'neal flew through the sky with an annoyed frown on his face as he watched the forest below him travel closer to him. "Stupid teacher, didn't even answer my damn question. Isn't that part of their damned jobs?" he complained before letting out a heavy sigh. "Whatever," he mumbled and held his sword up high as the forest grew closer. After taking in a deep breath he had gripped his weapon tightly and held it high above his head. "Here I come! O'neal has entered the party!" he boomed loud enough to echo throughout the forest. As he broke through the trees foliage he thrust his sword into a thick tree and gritted his teeth as he began to cut down the trunk. As he reached the bottom of the tree he pushed off the tree while ripping his sword from the trunk and rolled onto the ground before finally landing on his knee. O'neal sighed and rose to his feet as he dusted himself off. He looked to the tree and inspected the mark he had carved through the tree. He frowned. "Meh, 5/10. I really could have done a better entrance," he muttered with mild disappointment.

He quickly shrugged off his disappointing entrance and looked around his surroundings. He heard fighting in the distance, but ignored it and began his walk through the forest in search of his objective. Helping others wasn't his objective, the relics were. Besides, he didn't want to take the challenge of a good fight from others. O'neal froze as the sound of a twig snapping from behind him reach his ear and felt a grin crawl onto his face. "Speaking of challenge," he chuckled as he turned around to face a small pack of Grimm. He quickly counted five Beowulf and one Ursa. "Good day boys, looking for a fight?" one of the Ursa snarled towards him with bared teeth. "Thought so," he smirked as he rested his sword on his shoulder and aimed it towards them. "Alright then, who's fi-" before he could finish a Beowulf on the far right lunged towards him with a howl, but before it could get a swing in it was met with O'neal's sword crashing down onto it, cleaving it in two. The corpse tumbled to the ground and began to fade as O'neal spat on its smoking corpse. "Next!" he laughed before leaping back from another Beowulf 's slash towards him. He drove his knee into the side of its skull and leaned back as another one of its friends shot over him with snapping jaws. He spun about while kicking the Grimm who had caught his knees blow away and bolted towards the Grimm who missed him. O'neal grunted before plunging his weapon into the Grimms chest and raised it above his head as it clawed away at his sword. "Heavy bastard aren't ya?" he joked before swinging the Grimm around and slamming him into another charging Beowulf, cutting the two in half.

O'neal quickly adjusted his sights on the reaming Beowulf and chuckled. "You're next pup!" he cackled as he walked towards the growling Grimm. Wait though, was he missing something? He stopped for a few seconds as he counted his kills. There were five, he's killed three, but he only saw one. Where was the fifth Grimm? O'neal soon received his answer as a Ursa roared from behind him after bursting from the foliage. 'Shit, it waited for the right moment!" he thought as he held up his weapon to block the Grimms strike, but quickly found himself flying through the air. O'neal let out a grunt as the power of the strike sent him flying into the foliage and tumbling down a steep hill. "Damn it! Ow! Son of a bitch!" he shouted as he fell down the hill and hitting a few fallen tress or rocks on his way down. Finally he reached the end of the fall... but only found himself falling of yet another smaller cliff. "Oh come on!" he yelled with anger as he began to fall into a new area. As he fell he looked to the ground and spotted two Faunus's .One girl with glasses and one guy getting smacked away by a Ursa and smashing into a tree. He cringe and shook his head as he righted himself in the air with his weapon raised high over his head. "I know that feeling man," he mumbled to himself before nearing the Ursa that laid within his sights. As he was close enough to bring his sword down on the Grimm O'neal was caught off guard as the Ursa reacted to his presence and jumped back far enough to dodge his sword. O'neal's weapon smashed into the ground and a frustrated growl came from his throat. "Fat bastard! Stand still so I can kill you!" he shouted as he raised his sword from the ground and rested it on his shoulder. He glanced over to the Faunus girl and snapped his fingers towards her. "Yo, darling, go check on your friend there. I REALLY need to let off a bit of steam on big boy here," he said as he glared towards the Ursa. The Grimm let out a roar and readied its self for a fight. O'neal grinned and pointed his weapon towards the Grimm. "That's what I'm talking about."

Knox looked at Ardelle and gave her a small smile. "Sorry, sorry, years of being in an isolated village isn't exactly the best way to learn to be 'civilized.'" He said. While he was technically not lying about being in an isolated area for who knows how long, it wasn't exactly a village nor was it any fun to be in nor was he willingly there. Though he was unsure if he only developed this kind of attitude after the experimentation or if he was always such a lazy person. Though Rex knew the answer to it, he never told him. Rex seemed to always cryptically hint towards him having insomnia, but he highly doubted that was the case. He slept like a rock at night. Or at least, he knew he was. "But I suppose I'll try for you guys."

Maria was really angry at Karma because of his reckless actions, pointing out that it would've been a disaster if he had hit a student. Knox had to admit that she was right. While he knew that the guy could at least steer himself in the air, the fact that it was too close to most of them struck alarm bells in his head. Rex seemed to enjoy the show but that was most likely because it was quite chaotic to watch. Had he landed near students and not his fellow teachers, it might have ended very differently. "I'm not going to side on Karma with this one, but I think you need to calm down Maria. I don't think it's good for you to get so angry." While it was simply annoyance creeping out of her, he could still feel Rex enjoying the negative emotion. If this escalates any further, Knox would have to make a visible effort to restrain Rex. He turned to Karma. "Please don't do that again. For your sake, and everyone else's." He pleaded with the red haired male. While Knox was the likeliest to laugh at a stunt like that, he didn't want to aggravate the teachers any further so it was probably for the best to try and convince Karma to simply tone down his entrances.

He gave Ardelle a thumbs up when she had told him that he arrived just on time - a rare occurrence really. It was either he was late, very late or actually early. Depends on where he is. He crossed his arms as he watched the students get vaulted off the cliff and into the Emerald Forest. Seems like everyone managed to land safely, so that was good. While Ardelle and Maria were thinking of their previous initiations, Knox couldn't really say anything. Aside from the fact that he cannot remember, for the life of him, what happened before his experimentation, he was pretty sure that he was raised around the general area of Atlas and maybe went to their academy. This would be supported by the fact that Deadly Malice was fashioned from an Atlas gun as well.

"I wonder who'll finish first. It's always interesting how they maneuver themselves around that Grimm infested forest." Knox admitted. He was a teacher of battle strategy so he was always keen on watching how students cope up with dealing with situations like this. Though, they should be more prepared since they do know what they're up against. If it was an unknown threat, then Knox would be more inclined to compliment them. Quick-thinking is always appreciated in Knox's case. While he does believe that instinct factors in with decision making and that it should be a part of one's reasoning, it shouldn't be someone's only reasoning. He turned to Maria and asked in a hushed voice, "Are you alright?"

Honey was shocked, to say the least, when the other male faunus hadn't decided to run away like she instructed him to. He instead was helping her fight the Grimm, there was a tiny bit of pride dwelling deep within her. There was also a strange sensation coming from within herself as well, something was telling her to run away almost. Telling her that the student next to her was dangerous and she needed to leave immediately.

She ignored the sensation however and focused on fighting. "Honestly I......would've been just fine.....without you being here!" The young female was dealing with the other Grimm around them. She didn't mean for it to come out so harsh but she was being truly careless. However nothing mattered in this moment except getting out of this mess alive for now. Honey had become too engrossed in her own thoughts to notice the second Ursa coming from the side.

She heard the cracking of trees and the eventual destruction of the path where the male faunus had been launched to. "Why you little!" Honey was going to kick this Grimm's ass. Her eyes were no longer a neutral tone but in fact a bright red: anger. The Ursa lunged at her, she was easily prepared for the attack. Blocking the incoming Ursa's paw, she managed to deliver a punch to it's side. Despite holding back her own semblance she could tell she dealt some pretty swift damage to the Grimm.

Just as she was going to deliver another swift blow to the Grimm, she was stopped by the sound of falling trees. Looking towards the cliff, she noticed another student falling down. Just fucking great....another annoyance to distract me from my objectives. She sighed then turned her attention back towards the three Grimm in front of her. Her plan was that she going to attack the Grimm first then help the other faunus that got launched into the tree line.

But the male student gathered her attention first, by snapping his fingers at her. "Excuse me! I would appreciate it if you did not snap your fingers at me ever again." The bunny faunus almost yelled at him, piercing red eyes seemed to stare into his soul. She blinked at the sudden disturbance of another student, he was a rather rude one at that. During the whole conversation, Honey had to make sure that she was dodging the Grimm's attacks.

The day just kept getting better and better....well she figured for the others at least. Without skipping a beat, the female faunus dodged another set of fury swipes from the Grimm in front of her. "Tch. Jerk." She jumped back then quickly retreated into the treeline, on her way towards the other faunus. She was running towards him swiftly, while hoping he was ok.

Aryl watched Eisen ram into the Beowulf, which gave him the opprotunity to roll back and redraw his bow, only to find Eisen finishing up his work. "Nice handiwork." He said, half meant as a pun. He watched Eisen run off and quickly followed after, his bow ready incase of another attack. They cleard the trees and headed to the ruins. Aryl set his bow down, grabbed 2 knight pieces, and tossed one to Eisen. "Keep that safe, one of the most useful chess pieces known to man." He said, cracking a grin as he pocketed the 'relic' and grabbed his bow back up.

Cataline kept a brisk jog north towards the ruin, her staff at the ready for anything, or anyone, that may have come her way. She walked when she needed to breathe, and the Beowulf in her was awfully quiet for once.

Sitting at the base of the collapsed tree, green leaves covered over his entire body that each slowly began to freeze over into white solid ice leaves while his semblance continued to go into it's full activation. The entire time the male student sat there, his head had hung downwards to hide his face while his black beanie that had kept his cat ears hidden had fallen off due to the force of the attack by the Ursa. All the while he sat there, aside from the leaves turning to ice, the ground beneath him soon even began to form a thin sheet of ice as well along with the tree he sat against. 'Tsk...You're still a weakling even now. Kid, you're lucky you have me inside you...if not, you would've been dead long ago before you even could make it here.' As the Grimm spoke, Sakamoto had slowly began to help himself back up to his own two feet while his own black aura sparked a few times to indicate just how close he was to losing it. "Shut up will you...? I'm not going to rely on your for help...every time." Responding in a low hushed whisper as he made his way over towards one of the nearby frozen trees just to yank out his sword that was impaled into the bark of the large tree.

With a deep inhale before sighing it back out deeply to allow his minor wounds to regenerate with whatever remaining aura he still had. With a single press of a button on the hilt of his sword, the large green and silver blade began to break off in multiple spots before extending upwards before finally bending at a slight angle as well as allowing the hilt to extend into a much larger pole-like size. Finally, with his weapon shifted into it's scythe state; Sakamoto simply rested his weapon onto his shoulders before shaking his head at the idea that he had lost his beanie for the time being to hide his identity. 'Dammit kid! Just get it over with and use 'that' already!' Of course when the Grimm spoke of 'that' it meant Sakamoto's left arm which at this point had began to start throbbing and heating up rapidly even through the dropping of the temperature in the surrounding area due to Sakamoto's semblance; the more it sensed the negative emotions that the male student gave off followed by that of the female Faunus' negative emotion, the more the arm fed off of it to ache for bloodshed.

Refusing to acknowledge the demands of the Grimm, right as soon as he was about to take a single step forward. The immediate sounds of rapid footsteps nearing him only had him quickly change his stance to one of defense just in case it had been another Grimm deciding to take the sounds of battle as a way to gather. Moments later had passed and the sounds of the roaring and growling of the ongoing battle with the Ursa with what sounded like another student had soon made Sakamoto all that more curious as to what or who was approaching him at such a quick pace. Before long, it had appeared to had been none other than the same female Faunus from earlier making her appearance known. "What're you doing here?...You should be heading to the ruins. I thought you were still fighting which was why I was going to head back...but it sounds like someone is keeping those Grimm occupied." As the male spoke, thick pieces of iced armored garment had slowly started to make itself known starting from the male's shoes to his legs. The temperature all around him had continued to drop all at once at a quickened pace as well.

Standing at the edge of the Cliffside alongside the vice principle of the academy, Glynda. Ozpin had placed down his cup of coffee just to be holding onto his fully opened scroll to watch as to how each of the students were doing with reaching the ruins and how they were faring with the other students as well. The sight of how quite a number of the students were having some difficulty with some of the Grimm that were placed into the forest was not exactly pleasant but yet somehow they were still managing in the end. The sight of how some of the students which Ozpin had some curious thoughts about with their aura being a bit different compared to others was something a bit more intriguing to him, many of them showed impressive skills in fighting while others showed something that might've been problematic in the future if not trained well.

Pushing the thoughts aside for the time being, as he had overheard some of the teachers speaking about the entrance of one of the other staff members known as Karma as well as some even speaking about the students and how they might do along with who would reach the end first; for the first few minutes the headmaster had kept silent until their conversation had come to a pause for him to speak. "Remember Mr. Pylamore. This is not a race, this initiation is to show us how much these students have learned before coming here to Beacon. It will give us a general idea as to who needs to work on exactly what trait to improve upon." Speaking out towards one of the particular staff members, Ozpin's own light brown hues never moved away from the screen even when it had flickered for a split second unexpectedly.

A roar escaped the Ursa as it lunged towards O'neal, but instead of it catching its target the Grimm was only met with an empty space before glancing up to see a grinning O'neal slamming his foot on top of its skull and was quickly met with the hard earth below it. O'neal chuckled before leaping off of the Grimm's head as it rose to its hind legs with a enraged roar. "Come on big guy, gotta give me more than that!" he chuckled as he landed onto the ground. The angry Ursa growled with frustration as it fell back to all fours and charged towards its prey with death glowing from its red eyes. O'neal grinned before bolting towards the Grimm to meet it head on. He gripped his weapon with two hands gave a mighty swing towards the Grimm's head, but to his surprise the Ursa leaned to the right and avoided the full deadly force of O'neals attack and was only slightly clipped on its shoulder. O'neal gritted his teeth and redirected his weapon to block the Ursa's incoming strike as it was now standing tall on its hind legs. The power of its attack was similar to the last Ursa's strike, but this time O'neal was ready and was able to stay on his feet as he slid a few feet back. He lowered his weapon to ready his counter attack, but widened his eyes as he saw the Ursa only a feet away from him with its jaws ready to clamp down on its prey.

With a grunt O'neal raised his sword up to bash the Grimm's head with the flat side of his sword, but was only met with the Ursa's jaws clamping down on his sword. "You son of a-" he was interrupted as the Ursa snarled before raising O'neal into the air. O'neal gritted his teeth as he held onto his sword and as he was over the Ursa he let go and drove his knee into the Grimm's snout. The Ursa released the sword with a enraged roar and fell back to all fours while not noticing a grinning O'neal as he grabbed his sword and landed on the Grimms back. The Grimm roared once again as it began to desperately try to throw O'neal off of its back, but O'neal held on tight as he began to laugh. "Come on little doggy, show me what ya got!" he laughed before the Grimm rose back onto its hind legs. "Woah, hey what you doing!?" he shouted before looking below him to see the ground growing close fast. His eyes widened as the Ursa began its fall backwards and let go as he dived to the right of the Grimm. He managed to barely escaped the Ursa's heavy weight from crushing him and rolled to hands and knees. He heard a angry growl and snapped his head up to see the Ursa lunging towards him with a blood thirsty roar.

"Shit!" he blurted before scrambling to the left to avoid the Grimm's attack. He was able to get out of the way in time and tried to get onto his feet, but the Ursa's hind legs tripped him and he fell back to the ground with a grunt. The Grimm spun to face its opponent and raised to its hind legs as it readied its self to crush O'neal. Meanwhile O'neal rolled onto his back as he flipped a switch on his weapon that quickly changed the swords form. Both bladed sides of the sword separated and revealed the barrel of a gun. The swords hilt quickly changed into the grip of a firearm and O'neal wasted no time to grab hold and pull back on the trigger. Within the blink of an eye his newly formed weapon fired a burst round of projectiles into the Ursa, burying themselves into the Grimm's chest and a few blowing a couple of holes into the Ursa's skull. For a brief moment the Grimm stood on its hind legs like a statue as it swayed back and forth before finally falling towards the earth next to O'neal. O'neal panted heavily as he stared at the fallen Ursa and couldn't hold back his grin as he chuckled. He patted the now smoking Grimm's corpse and rose to his feet. "Good try big fella, but I win," he said as he looked down the corpse. Honestly the thing almost had him, but luck was seemingly on his side. O'neal wiped the sweat from his head and looked towards the direction the two Faunuses had went off to. He debated on weather or not to go after them, but before he could make a decision a howl filled the air as several low growls reached his ears. He glanced towards the wood line to his left and smirked as a rather large pack of Beowulf's emerged from the foliage. He quickly counted about a dozen, maybe more were behind them waiting for their right moment to attack. O'neal chuckled as he raised his weapon up towards the Grimm closest to him and let his finger rest on the trigger. "New contestants? Great, more the merrier," he grinned before a Beowulf let out a howl to signal the attack and pulled back on the trigger to release a storm of gunfire that echoed through the air.
