With everything all prepared, Colt heads out of the locker room going to the cliffside where the exams will begin. He is more than ready to take on whatever is going to happen to him. He knows he can become the greatest hunter in the world, and for that reason alone, he is determined to do anything to achieve that goal. He takes a couple of breaths as his walking speed hastens. He needed to go there fast before the exams could actually start.

It took him a few minutes until he has arrived at the cliffside, just in time before the exams could begin. He takes another couple of breaths to fully compose himself on what is going to happen. He kept remembering his mentor's words to him upon bestowing One-for-All and its glorious power. With one last deep breath, Colt felt ready.

Azura learned to appreciate the little things when it came to Eden. While his friends were a lot more open about their emotions, he was a little different. The small smile and the hint of joy in his voice didn't escape Azura's senses. As opposed to his barely visible smile, a wide one was on her face. She wasn't one for hiding her feelings, and she wouldn't start now. Besides, she wasn't even confident if she could pull it off like Eden can. "I didn't tell you I would be attending Beacon?" She questioned, surprised that she didn't let that slip. After all, when they moved to Vale, it was pretty much decided that she would go to Beacon Academy to follow in her parents' footsteps. She didn't really mind as she had been training for it since she was a small child - albeit with others instead of her parents. It's the reason why she actually had experience with fighting Grimm with her katana, and soon Mystic Equinox itself.

She let out a short giggle. "I never expected you would become a 'badass' huntsman." His personality never really led her to believe that he was actually planning on becoming a huntsman. Well, she wasn't complaining now. After all, she knew someone in this school after all! She wasn't very comfortable diving into a place without knowing anyone else. She then smiled at him once more when he expressed that he was glad to see her here. It was unexpected, the flick to her nose. This caused her to squeak and jump back while holding her nose with one hand. She looked back up at him. A sad smile spread to her face, knowing that saying the reason might bring a sour mood in the atmosphere. "I promise I won't. Without telling you at least, Eden." While she tried her best to look cheerful, the fact that there was a sad atmosphere around her as she was reminded of two months ago.

Azura was suddenly bumped into by another man that she didn't know before. She spun around to look at him. He looked like a monk, and certainly one that she didn't know of. Quickly taking note of the cane, she knew that he was blind. "O-Oh, i-it's alright, sir." She quickly said. She quickly looked at Eden who didn't exactly know what was going on either. However, as Azura looked back at the man, her mind began to process what was happening. No, he wouldn't be here if he was blind. Besides, he didn't look like he was a pushover either. It was sort of like feeling that the other party was stronger than you - the instinct that yelled in the back of your mind that told you that you shouldn't cross them. It then dawned upon her that he might have been a teacher.

She let out a small sigh before smiling up at the man. While he may be blind, it didn't really matter for her. "Nice to meet you sir. I assume we need to gather now?" She asked kindly. She placed her hand back on her katana, not as a form of aggression, but one of habit. Because Azura was a proud practitioner of Iaido, a form of quick-draw swordsmanship, she seemed to always have her hand on the katana. She was already poised to move towards the cliff with Eden and the teacher who had shown himself.

Seamus makes a large smile that last but only a moment. It then turns back into his normal stoic look. He clears his thought and looks to the student. "Very good deduction. Yes, it sounds as the Ozpin is here so I would assume we are to get to him to be ready. How about you properly meet the headmaster." Seamus stands up straight and stops looking frail. He puts away his staff and starts walking towards Ozpin oddly not seeming blind in the slightest. He walks up to Ozpin and bows his head to him. "Headmaster. Looks like fine students today."

Seamus walks over to Aridelle. "So I understand you don't have high hopes for this round of students so lets make this a bit interesting." He begins to whisper so not to be heard by anyone but Ardelle. "50 Lien says not one of the students fail this year. Last time I checked that only ever happened once. When your class took the initiation. What do you say?" He pulls out 50 Lien and waves it at her.

Smiling, Griselda nodded. "Ready." She said, beginning to walk alongside him.

Remembering the directions that had been given to them earlier in the morning by one of the professors, she turned down a hallway as she listened to the chattering of first year students also heading to the cliffside, her feet every once in a while touching squares of marble that had been warmed by the sun, inspecting Nebula Striker as they walked. Eventually, they exited a set of double doors, setting down a path warn by thousands of feet over the years. The wind caressed her face as she made her way to the cliff, pleasant and carrying the promise of fall, all the while trying to prepare herself for the test like all of the other students. Upon seeing a noticeable amount professors after arriving however, some of her previous confidence dissipated, making Griselda's gut churn. She had heard in the past from Augustus that while the initiation test was hard, not many teachers except the headmaster and his assistant had been present, but at this moment that wasn't the case. Had her adopted father been pulling her leg? That must have been so.

The realization hit her like a ton of bricks. This was no child's game for so many of the adults to be present.

She swallowed loudly before she could stop herself and heard Dusk chuckling in her head. Her legs suddenly felt like jelly. Even so, she took deep breaths, recalling all the training she had undergone to get here. She glanced at the seemingly endless Emerald Forest, steeling herself for what was to come.

A small part of her wondered though if Dusk would try something funny. She had done her best to block him out since realizing the Grimm and her were one, at least partially, but his presence was ever looming. She didn't know what type of grimm Dusk was, but she sensed something somewhat big, if the other "voice" present in her head was any indication. The Grimm had somehow managed to keep "his" full identity a secret. She wasn't sure why, but had learned enough over the years to tell he was a slippery bastard. He probably had as much trust in her as she did in him: slim to none. She would have liked nothing more than to forget he was there, but that was impossible...And based on what had happened in the past, she couldn't just ignore him, and that they were one.

She inwardly shook her head. It was much too late to be considering all of that now. Focus. She needed to focus.

Griselda stepped next up to the area where all the other students were gathered, trying to push the worries that had been building ever since she had decided she wanted to be a huntress from her mind.

Eisen had been awake since before dawn, unable to get comfortable and spending a restless night tossing and turning. It was his arm. The steel and wiring and hydraulics weighed heavily on his body, as the mistake that led to those weighed on his mind. As per usual he didn't get much rest. So eventually he thought 'F*ck it' and got up, packing his stuff up in a militaristic fashion before heading to the showers.

Today was initiation, which he was sure (he hoped) meant combat. Combat was his only skill, his only worth. No joke. His teacher didn't exactly stress anything else. And it was an isolated lifestyle. But he could kick ass.

There were way too many people here. Too many eyes. Eisen had been tempted to hide his mechanical arm somehow, but decided against it in the end. It would only draw more attention if it was revealed later. More thoughts rolled through his head as the shower-room filled with a sound resembling rain against a metal roof.

By the time Eisen left the room, fully clothed in his combat gear. A few other unitiated students lingered around in the locker room, but Eisen paid them no mind. Now was not the time for making friends, if he could remember how to have those. He finished his morning routine as other unitiated students came and went, not in any hurry to be on time.

He eventually wandered his way over to the cliff, where all his future classmates were gathered. Wasn't that just grand. Couldn't wait to be surrounded by potentially dangerous people. There was no reason to believe these students or teachers were secretly terrorists or serial killers, but who knew. Remnant wasn't nice. He just had to look at his right arm to remind himself of that.

Eisen stood away from the group, crossing his mismatched arms and yawning. Where was Ozpin? This action needed to get going. The battle-junkie needed his fix.

Knox woke with a jolt. Something was supposed to be happening today. Oh. Right. The initiation was today wasn't it? He was pretty glad that the day finally came. He'd been babysitting that Faunus kid from before. Honestly, they didn't create much of a bond aside from him being the 'adult supervision' that she had so she wouldn't get hurt. Honestly, she was more careful than he was. He wondered if that was still how she fought or if it was just appearances. He shrugged and then yawned. He needed to get there soon. They'd yell at him for being late again. He looked out of the window and saw that the kids... students were already filing towards the cliff. Oh great, all the more reason why they should be angry at him.

"You should be more careful you know." The voice inside his head teased. Ah, Rex. Rex, Rex, Rex... Knox had given Rex a gender, but he was pretty sure the Resura doesn't agree to being bound by the limits of gender. It's the reason why he has such a bright personality in contrast with the vessel himself. It was an odd occurrence. "They're not really fond of you always missing, Knox. Especially Carmon. You know how she's one of us and-"

"Yeah, yeah, I don't need to hear it twice... or to be more accurate, the thirty-second time." Knox thought to cut off the talking Resura. Honestly, he was getting tired of being reminded that his fellow teacher was an Aura Grimm herself. He didn't really care either way. As long as no one flew off the handle with rage, they were all safe. Knox was pretty confident in his ability to keep Rex in control. His fighting style of keeping his distance from the battle itself really helped with this. Without being in the thick of the battle, he didn't feel too many emotions and Rex couldn't take advantage of it.

Knox stretched, pleased to see that Rex had shut up for now. He then quickly prepped his clothing that hid almost every single part of his body so that no one would see the lines that were common among the Aura Grimm. He then quickly took Deadly Malice and then folded it and placed it on his back. He then made his way to the cliffisde with his hands inside his pockets. Ah, looked like all the other teachers were there and some of the other students had arrived as well.

He saw Seamus, Carmon, Ardelle, Ozpin and Maria. Knox wasn't the kind of person to hate on others so he has a pretty neutral opinion on everyone. He was thankful to Ozpin for giving him a chance to teach and earn money and eat, but that's about it. There was something about the headmaster that rubbed him the wrong way, but Knox could at least offer his loyalty to the green haired headmaster. Carmon was another Aura Grimm, which had been established by Rex since they first met. He was pretty sure the Crimson Flame also knew. He was pretty okay with the girl. A lot more energetic than what he expected from someone who escaped the facilities. Ardelle had quite a mouth and he has long since given up on trying to get on her good side. He just acted natural around her and if she got frustrated from that, then he couldn't do anything about it. Seamus was a rather cool guy, aside from his blind jokes. "I like that Ardelle girl though. She's feisty." Rex commented. "I'm just pretty wary of that blind monk though. It's like he would see through us the moment you lose control."

"Then don't mess this up for me." He snapped back in his thoughts.

He raised his hand in greeting. "Yo guys." He said with a yawn. It was very unbecoming of a teacher to act like this, but he didn't really care. People told him to act his age, but seriously, that was too much work. As long as he taught the kids what they needed to learn, then that was fine right? No need to be fussy about details. Be a role model, they said. But that was the problem, Knox didn't know how to be a role model. He had something talking in his head for Oum's sake! He was the opposite of someone who can actually be a role model. He'd leave that to Glynda or something. "Can't believe you haven't started yet. Waitin' for me?" He teased with a small smirk.

As everyone, especially the students, are waiting for the exams to begin, one would look up and see a figure falling towards the cliffside. Upon closer inspection, the person will shout out that a man is going to crash down. "
HEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!" The figure yelled "DON'T START WITHOUT ME-" As he was about to finish his sentence, he crashes into the hard ground, creating a large screen of dust after impact. The crash has left a rather large crater, but the person in question seems to be okay.

Once the dust has cleared off, the figure reveals himself to be the Symbol of Justice himself; Karma Krimson. "
Sorry for the sudden entrance, had some errands to run before I even get myself a head start." Karma says with a big bright smile on his face "So, when we start, fellow teachers?" His entrance has left everyone in pure shock. He almost killed an entire batch if weren't for his crash landing. Speaking of which, where did HE came from?!

Carmon's red eyes would shift towards the ground, she seems to have been ignored by Seamus and trying to talk with Ardelle just didn't seem...possible. She was foul-mouthed despite the Faunus' angelic looks, certainly not something that Carmon wanted to deal with; fearful of saying the wrong thing and setting Ardelle off. Best to avoid that...

A white clad figure would stick out and a soft and chipper voice would call form the slender beauty. It was Maria, a very kind teacher and seemingly too sweet to be a huntress but here she was! "Good morning Maria!", Carmon would beam. Perhaps this interaction would go better? Ah but they would be interrupted y the arrival of another. This time, a voice she was far too familiar with spoke up, it was Ozpin! "A-Ah...good morning sir!" Carmon would give the headmaster a deep bow of respect. She was always jumpy around him, she thought that he could just tell she was an Aura Grimm by looking at her. "You're making a fool of yourself, woman!" the Grimm inside would speak to her rather harshly. Carmon's heart was racing and she stayed in her deep bow for what seemed like an eternity before rising at the headmaster's question. "Ah...W-Well..., she began her eyes scanning the students to get a quick headcount for who was here and who still needed to show up, so far most of the people for today's test had gathered. It was then that she realized that several of the students were Aura Grimm, she was surprised and worried at the same time. Her head began to ache but she would shake the feeling off promptly, the Mayura chuckling in amusement as Carmon struggled to place her feelings. "U-Um...It seems we're missing just one student...Perhaps they slept in or...left? It's um..." Carmon would produce her scroll from a small pack at her side, swiping her finger through the small dossiers of each student that applied at Beacon. "Kent Constentraus." Carmon would state with a small nod before putting her scroll away.

Yet another teacher would arrive, late but still arrived. Her red eyes would lock onto him and wouldn't pry from him not even for a micro-second. "Your staring makes it seem like you like him...Do you?" the Grimm would call, causing Carmon to frown. This would unintentionally make Carmon seem to be unfriendly towards Knox. He was an Aura Grimm. Her awkward yet happy demeanor would slowly fade from her until Knox spoke. "How could you be late to something like this?!", Carmon would reprimand Knox. She had that look in her eyes, fiery and passionate. "How do you expect the students to get up from their beds and get to class when their teacher can't even get his ass out of bed to come to their trial?" Yup. She was upset, but Ozpin's presence made her even more sensitive to unprofessional stunts like this.

Then from the air came ANOTHER...thing? There was a shout and as Carmon looked up she would see a red dot that grew bigger and bigger until she realized it was Karma. Her red eyes would be as wide as saucers as he nearly crashed into her, thankfully she had jumped away just in time. Saved by falling Karma, this time Knox. No words. Carmon had no words for what she had just witnessed. The man got up as if nothing had happened, simply carrying on his part of the conversation with the other teachers as if this was...normal. "Oh I like him.", spoke the Grimm. Carmon would let out a sigh, despite her and the rest of the teachers almost getting squashed by this moron things had to go on.

Maria was rather chipper today, she was excited to see how all the other students and teachers were holding up. Just as the white haired woman got to the others, Professor Ozpin appeared and greeted everyone. It was quite exciting to see the head master out and about but she knew that he was here to view the students as well. "Hello Ozpin!" Maria greeted the man, before turning her attention to the rest of her coworkers.

She always was a person that found joy in what she did each and every day. Despite the being on the younger age group of the staff, she was always bussling with joy over the new experiences that came her way each day. "Carmon and Ardelle! I missed you both so much, after this....would you like to visit my garden?" Maria insisted on them visting her garden every chance they met. Only for that fact that she grows one of a kind flowers and it was quite the pickle of cross breeding.

Honestly Maria could go on and on about the issues of cross breeding flowers, finding the right temperature, and what not. It would mostly get boring for some people so she decided only to explain it if neccessary. Maria noticed that she was being insensitve to the other teachers that were standing there, she should pay better attention! Turning her body promptly, the white haired girl turned to face them.

"Hi Hi Knox! Hi Seamus! I missed you guys too!" Maria cheerfully bounced up, her hair flying up into the air. Sudden yelling was heard above the white haired female, it surprised her to say the least. She glanced up into the sky, sunlight was partically blocking her eyesight so she only able see a black dot in the sky. The dot soon became a shape of a man, see a man falling down the cliffside at an incredible speed.

Maria stared in confusion until a big thud was heard a few yards away. She started to cough when the dust rose up into the air from the impact. Looking over, the white haired female recongized the male, it was another teacher. "K-Karma! Stop being an idiot, you'll make me sick again!" The female teacher strained to yell at Karma.

Honey placed her bag down, then walked a little ways next to a big rock. Most of the other students were busy in conversations with each other, even Persues had already drifted away from her to join with them. It didn't matter to her, she probably came off as antisocial to others anyway. It wasn't the fact that she was indeed social, though a bit shy and soft spoken. It was the fact that rather difficult to talk to people with her semblance around.

It always caused back luck, so the pink haired girl purposely let others and gave them the cold shoulder. However out in the open, like now, her semblance was restricted to her immediate area. Unlike in a room where it could bounce around and strengthen due to the walls there, her semblance has a smaller radius outside. "Hmm...what should I eat for dinner tonight? Perhaps I should eat those muffins for dinner." Honey mumbled to herself, sitting down on the grass.

Luckily the grass wasn't dew wet, she would be doing something much different than sitting down at the moment. The young faunus watched the clouds roll by, she was rather comtent with the way nature was acting. Nature was high unpredictable and wild but it also contained beautiy and friendlyness. When Honey graduates into a huntress and disappears, she would want to go somewhere that was surrounded by nature.

Feeling her red glasses slip from her face, she reached out to catch them before they hit the ground. They passed through her hands and hit the ground, though it didn't hit a rock. Instead, the glasses rolled a little ways away before settling down in a grassy area. "Shoot, this day keeps on getting better and better. I hate my life." Honey huffed in annoyance as she carefully tried to not step on the area below her.

The young faunus carefully bent down and moved her hands around her area. Nothing came up. I think that it rolled off somewhere, hopefully not down the cliff! Her eyes began to shine a light purple, the emotion of worry. She already had difficulty seeing and now her glasses were gone. Honey just hoped that the event wont start soon, she really needed to find her glasses..

Scarlet continued on her way, walking through the large corridor, making sure she doesn't do anything to gain attention. She then stopped, she could feel Wendy's growl echoing in her head. Was there something going on that she didn't notice from before, her red hues scanned the area around them, looking at the different students all around. Scarlet wasn't sure who she was supposed to see, but she soon sensed them. Those who were like her, it wouldn't be long until one walked up to her. She looked really nice, sounded nice too. A soft smile spread on her lips as her hands loosened from her arms. "O-Oh th-that's nice of you, pleased to meet you." She said with a soft tone. Wendy narrowed her eyes, taking mental notes of the young girl before her. The tapping of her claws echoing in her head.

Scarlet waited for her to answer before other person spoke up. It was another female, and from the growl that echoed in her head, she was another Aura Grimm. Another being like her. The other girl brought up saving their energies for the trial. A faint gasp left Scarlet's lips before looking down the corridor, the cliffside was so close. The platinum blonde haired girl turned her head back towards the people, clearing her throat a bit before speaking up. "R-Right, b-but we don't wish to be late on our first day m-meeting everyone f-formally. We should hurry a-and get there." She said with the same soft tone. Wendy chuckled mentally, speaking up with a pleasant tone, something she normally used with the young one. "Yes and maybe you won't be as jumpy. But keep your eyes open, I don't know if we will be encountering more of our kind." She warned, just watching everything through Scarlet's eyes. Scarlet nodded her head slightly, not wanting to accidentally speak up as she gestured towards the two girls to follow her. "You forgot to introduce yourself." Wendy reminded, mentally closing her eyes. "Oh, right." She said towards Wendy, twisting her body slightly, speaking up. "I-I'm Scarlet, Sc-Scarlet Karma." She said, bowing her head slowly as she continued walking.

"Pleased to meet you as well. I am-" She was promptly cut off, by another Aura Grimm it seemed judging by her aura. Catalina turned back to the woman, her head tilted in slight curiosity. Just how many other Aura Grimm were in this school? She had not expected there to be another, let alone several in this school. "Something wrong Catalina?" The Beowulf asked her, and she bit her lip. Maybe a bit... these two seem off. "You mean besides the Grimm in them, right?" It asked. Obviously... She thought to the Grimm , and it merely chuckled. "Just checking, Catalina. Your worry is justified, though hide it, we don't want to give them an advantage, or set them off." The Grimm said. Right, she thought, nodding to herself. during that they all must have been dealing with their Grimm as well, but soon the nun, Wynter, as she said, spoke. "Well, I'm Catalina Snowfall, pleasure to make your acquaintance!" she said to her, her smile and excited nature returning to her character. Her tone quieted, her words not wanting to be overheard or repeated

. "Look, we all know what we are, so let's cut the shit of us trying to dance around that fact and act normal, yeah?" She said, and the Grimm growled in approval. "
Well said... would have made any before Ursa tremble." The Beowulf said with a laugh. She had never known a Grimm to laugh, or be capable of having humor, or anything of the sort to indicate emotion. It put her off, to say the least. "And how about you miss?" She asked, Catalina turning around and looking to the other girl. "Who might you be?" She then furthered.

Aquilla suppressed an urge to chuckle at the reactions of the two. She wasn’t sure if either of them could sense exactly what she was, given Aquilla couldn’t identify what type of Grimm they might have been, but that wasn’t to say either of them couldn’t tell themselves. Her lips quirked, as the blonde stammered out her suggestion that they shouldn’t be late. Although the sentiment wasn’t wrong, Aquilla had to wonder just what part of the nervousness was involved having a Grimm, or nervousness at the coming ‘test’.

“A test that takes place atop a Cliffside.” The Dragon picked up, sounding amused and grudgingly impressed. “And cautious of these two. And there might be others to be wary of.” Aquilla snorted to herself that was obvious. “They will cower before your power, but one should remain wary of those lesser than themselves…” Once again, Aquilla ignored the Grimm, opting to make a note of both girl’s names, and the question that had been asked. “At least she understands to be quiet about that…” Her companion grumbled.

“Aquilla Glacius.” Setting her features in careful neutrality, she eyed Catalina for a few moments. To recognize what she’s implying or not. We are all the same after all. A glance towards Scarlet made her wonder if being open would relax the girl or make her panic worse. A glance around confirmed no one else listening in. “While I appreciate the straightforward nature of the question, this hardly seems the place and time to have this conversation, no?” A guttural noise of annoyance bounced around her head, making Aquilla wince. As always, the Dragon disagreed with subtly, or what it perceived as cowardice. “I am surprised to find others, however. Didn’t think many others got out of…that.”

As he moved towards them, he also noticed that several students had been Aura Grimm themselves, as Rex so happily pointed out. Each one, he excitedly revealed to him. Perhaps it was because of the prospect of being surrounded by so many of his brethren that Rex had been chipper as of late. It had been rather odd, to be honest, but Knox knew better than to engage with those students. There was a right time for that, and they would decide themselves if they want to approach him about it. The lazy teacher hadn't even bothered talking with Carmon about their similar conditions. Rex had been pestering about talking to her, but he'd really rather not. If she was ready, then they would talk. Speaking of her, Knox noticed his fellow Aura Grimm teacher staring at him with intensity which caused him to raise an eyebrow at this.

A thought appeared in his mind, aided by Rex. "Come on, a bit of teasing won't hurt anyone." The Resura said before his chuckle pounded his skull, resounding between every recesses of his mind. Sometimes, he was annoying and Knox didn't like it very much. In fact, he wanted to pound his head to a wall just to shut him up - but it didn't work. He tried. "How rude, my dear vessel, it's not like it would kill you, you know..." Knox rolled his eyes and made sure to look away from anyone when he did it so as to not insult anyone by it.

Knox was snapped back to reality when Carmon began to reprimand him. He hunched down, leaning away from her as she began her passionate outburst. He raised his hands in an attempt to calm her down. He shot a look at Ozpin, as if looking for help, but then looked back at her. "I know, I know, geez woman, it's not like this is my first time here..." He said before sighing. "I'm not late to classes at least." He continued. Knox turned his head to Maria who cheerily greeted him. He gave her a lopsided grin and a nod, but made no other move for greeting because Carmon might just get more passionately pissed off.

You know what? He wasn't even sure if they needed to be here. Last time he checked, it was supposed to be Ozpin and the vice-headmaster, Glynda. Apparently, right now was special. Or did he really just skip it entirely last year and the year before that? Hm, he'll probably never know.

Why, you ask?

Before Carmon was even finished reprimanding him for his less-than-admirable personality, something came falling from the sky. It was a familiar red color. He stepped aside, moving away from Carmon as to make space for the landing of his fellow teacher. He waved off the dust that had been disturbed when he landed. He rolled his eyes and looked back at the Crimson Flame.
"Hey, at least I didn't do that." He then turned back to Karma, who had now continued like nothing had happened. Maria scolded him for his actions and Knox couldn't help but add to it. "Normally, I couldn't care less about your entrances Karma, but seriously, crash landing? This might be your loudest entrance yet." He pointed out.

"You know, that Symbol of Justice, whatever he calls himself, is a very flashy person. Personally... I think he's a good bait." Rex commented and Knox couldn't help but break out into a smile. He didn't hold anything against Karma, but he honestly thought it was funny.

Azura smiled at Seamus when he praised her for her deduction. She was pretty happy that she had already met a teacher this early. Okay, she did interact with some of the teachers for the past two months, but it was mostly just Professor Ozpin and Mr. Knox, the latter acting as her adult guardian for the past two months. Even then, it was mostly just him hanging around her whenever he felt like it. Sometimes, he would drop by for some food. Actually, it looked more like she was taking care of him. Huh, she never thought of it like that.

"Come on Eden, let's go." She urged her snake Faunus friend before shuffling towards the cliffside. She saw that there were adults gathered around - she assumed they were the teachers - and even Professor Ozpin was there. She saw the monk person from earlier interacting with them. Azura rubbed her palms together, as if it would help. It helped calm her nerves, at the very least. Usually, she would use her semblance and play around with Dust, but she needed all of them if she wanted to finish the initiation as well.

Azura bowed her head at the teachers as a show of respect and saw that a red haired teacher was... scolding Knox? She couldn't help but think that this might be normal. From what she saw of him, it definitely might be. That was when she stopped and looked up. She saw a dot getting bigger and bigger coming from the sky. She heard something else. It was someone from a little ways off, and sounded a bit worried. Azura was about to turn and go to that person to see if she could help, but then something... or well, someone had landed near the middle of the teacher's group. It quickly distracted her from her original intent of helping and just stared at the situation.

She could see that some of the teachers were getting rather exasperated of that guy who landed in the middle. Azura guessed that it may have been because that was really dangerous. Since they seemed to know him, she guessed he was a teacher too. They had quite a selection don't they? Mr. Knox seemed lazy. There was a blind monk. Professor Ozpin was on another league himself. And now this red haired male who fell from the sky and acted like it was nothing. Perhaps her time at Beacon would be a lot more interesting, not just because of her fellow classmates, but it seems it would also be because of her teachers. She just hoped they were a relatively nice bunch.

Standing at the very edge of the Cliffside while he had awaited for the other students and staff members of the academy to arrive at the destination for the test to begin. He awaited along with Glynda there in silence only turning his head over his shoulders as the only one of the teachers that actually responded to him earlier was the survival teacher known as Carmon Mathur; her comment about how there was one student missing and by the name of what she had given he would only shake his head at first before responding. "There is no need for us to await for Mr. Constentraus, he had decided to drop out rather early." Stating this, by the time that the silver haired headmaster had been sure enough that the rest of the students and staff had reached the area, he'd turn completely around just to bring his focus upon each of the new students that stood before him.

"Good morning students. Now, before we begin. I must ask you all to step upon the pads that have been placed in front of you all please." Awaiting for each of the students to do as he had stated, Ozpin had taken a few sips of his drink yet again before deciding to continue his speech. "For years, you have trained to become warriors and today your abilities will be evaluated in Emerald Forest. I'm sure many of you have heard rumors of the assignment of teams. Well, let us put an end to your confusion; each of you will be given teammates, today. These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone whom can you work well with. That being said, during the initiation whoever you gather with in the forest will be your teammate for the time being throughout the rest of the initiation; after you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way, do not hesistate to destroy everything in your path...or you WILL die. You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of your path, containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. You will guard that relic as well as your standing and be graded appropriately. Are there any questions?" Explaining throughout the entire time the entire initiation to the students, even as he had asked them what their questions might be he wasted no time to continue. "Good. Now, take your positions." Immediately after stating this, one at a time; students would be launched from the pads that they stood upon.

Following along the path within the locker rooms that would've lead the duo outside. Throughout most of the walk, the young male faunus had remained silent as he constantly brought his crystal blue gaze down to his scroll just to check upon the map that was uploaded yesterday right after the ceremony had been finished. The two had followed the path and directions that was to lead them to the Cliffside as directed, the entire time the two made their way the Dragon that resided within only pondered the idea whatever the headmaster of the academy could be planning for the initiation of this year's students, whatever it might've been the Grimm wasn't about to let his vessel go down in something like this.
By the time Sakamoto had reached the foot of the cliff with both himself and Griselda, a few steps up the grassy cliff and immediately something had glimmered upon the floor that caught the male's attention rather quickly. "Huh? You go on ahead Griselda, there's something here. I'll catch up." Informing this to the woman he was walking with, Sakamoto soon bent over just to pick up the shining object just to find out it had been a pair of small red glasses and with how clean they were aside from the small bits of dirt that it had fallen upon the floor; no doubt they belonged to one of the students, maybe on the cliff.

Taking it along with him as he had traversed up the cliff, it was only a matter of time that the male had ended up reaching the top only to notice as to how there was a female who was bent over upon the grassy floor searching for something. Pulling the glasses that had been found earlier by him, he took a moment to glance down at the spectacles before coming to a conclusion that they probably belonged to this woman. Approaching her immediately, he only leaned over just to hold the glasses out in front of her face. "Um, I believe...these are yours miss." Extending them to her just to allow her to grip them, before letting her even thank him for them; the sounds of the headmaster beginning his speech only had him rushing over to one of the pads that appeared like everyone was standing at to listen in.
Intently listening in on everything that was to be explained about the initiation till the very end, the idea of how they were going to be doing this trial in the forest and yet they stood on the cliff was a bit confusing at first. 'You moron! Brace and prepare! He's going to launch us!' With the Grimm shouting out his booming voice throughout the mental state of Sakamoto, the immediate statement had the faunus gripping tighter upon his inactive weapon at his side only to be launched from his pad in the next second straight into the air at an intense amount of speed.

Soaring throughout the sky even while he was growing higher and higher by the moment, once the descending had began, Sakamoto made sure to release his weapon; Cyclone into it's Scythe form with the speed he had moved at holding the weapon behind him while he neared the first try was rather easy to make the blade slice a few of the trees in two before finally being able to grip onto one when his speed had lowered enough. Spinning multiple times as he came to the base of the tree and finally having both of his shoes touch the forest floor with a heavy thud. Exhaling a deep sigh, the young male only scratched the back of his head as his crystal gaze scanned his surroundings while listening as to how each of the other students also found their own ways to land.

Eisen had spent the last while just people watching. No one had bothered with the narrow-eyed cyborg, but that was alright with him, he supposed. Eisen knew he was a dick. His teacher taught him how to fight and survive, not how to talk to strangers or pick up chicks. So... no social lessons for the last twelve years made for Eisen, or the World's Smartest Caveman, as his teacher used to call him. Besides, talking never saved him when fighting Grimm or bandits.

Maybe he was compensating for something. That train of thought disappeared when Ozpin came up, and made a speech. Eisen's grin grew with each word. Ozpin told them to destroy whatever stood against him. It's like Ozpin read Eisen's mind when making up this exam. Beautiful.

Without another word, he uncrossed his arms and walked over to an open pad. 'Oh please launch me first.'

And then he was sailing through the air, having timed that perfectly. But not time to celebrate.

It took him a brief second to register that he had been launched, but sure enough, there was a lot of wind noise all of a sudden. Eisen positioned himself spread-eagle, hoping to slow himself a tad, and taking the brief seconds he had left to formulate a plan.

With a deep breath, his aura spiked into his brain, switching his body to pure, raw, adrenaline mode. His steel arm grabbed a rapidly oncoming branch, but that wouldn't stop his momentum. Instead, he rolled his electro-hydraulically upgraded shoulder, rolling under it and then tearing the branch from the tree after using mother earth to break some of his momentum.

This happened a few times more, before they got him to the ground in a heavy tumble. With a quick little twirl of his legs, he hopped from his back to his feet.

Between a pair of Beowolves. A bloodthirsty grin appeared across his face as his fists sprang outwards, smashing into the bony plates on their faces. The one on his right would obviously be more stunned, so focused on his left.

His left knee and right elbow met in the middle, smashing into its neck, dropping it for the moment. Eisen turned around, and put two of his metal fingers as deep as he could into righty's eye socket, and then removed them and stabbed them right back in, and then once more to finish the beast off.

Eisen brought his attention back to the first one, still getting back up, and smashed lefty's head between the earth and his knuckles. And that was that.

"Really? The landing was more challenging than the fight." He muttered to himself, as he wiped Grimm ichor off of his fists and face. Casually, he strolled onward, deeper into the woods.

(Sorry about the possibly too badass intro. I LOVE combat writing. I'm open for RP)

Tomar | Cliffside

Tomar, who was overlooking the entire forest to entertain himself as he waited for the initiation to start, heard panicked scuffling from near to him. Looking around, he saw a young girl - couldn't be older than 16 - frantically searching the nearby area. Just hearing that the event was about to begin, Tomar sighed to himself. This girl was going to get herself kicked form the school, at this rate. Walking over slowly, it didn't take his keen eyes long for him to find what she appeared to be searching for.

Picking up the thick, red rimmed glasses with delicate fingers, he walked over to the girl as he used a cloth from his pocket to rub the green streaks of grass from the lens. "Here", Tomar says with a calm, polite tone, "I believe you dropped these?" Handing over the glasses to the girl, he smiles down at her. Getting a closer look at her now, he started his usual analytical process as his odd red eyes scanned the girl. She didn't appear to carry a weapon of sorts - of course, looks could be deceiving. Of all people, Tomar knew that.

As his large, pale blonde bushy tail sweeps the floor behind him, swishing to and fro with subtle movements, Tomar's pride and joy - his mechanical orb - hovered around his head. Almost as if the faint hum of the orb's engines reminded him of something, his physique shudders as he brings himself back to the present. "Well, we'd better get a move on if we are to start initiation." Offering a hand down to the girl, he smiles in a warm manner. His form shifts back to his usual smart self, as he does so.

"About time," O'neal muttered as he made his way to the pads. He eyed the other students with a glare as he sized each one up. To be honest, he wasn't impressed. Though his brother had warned him on several occasions not to underestimate other since it can screw you over. O'neal could also feel a strange and unnatural aura come from a few of the students, it was odd really. It was almost as if they were... Grimm. O'neal shook his head and frowned. If that was the case then he would be cutting them down right now. Anything that is related with Grimm couldn't possibly be allowed within Beacon. O'neal groaned and bumped several of the students on his way to his spot without paying attention to them. Once he reached his spot he turned to Ozpin. "Hey teach, I got a question," he said loud enough for everyone to hear him as he planted his sowrd into the ground next to him. "Do we get a bonus if we hunt down other students and take their relics? It would help see who is the weakest and who are the strongest," he finished while letting his eyes travel across each of the students with a bit of hostility. He wanted a challenge, so hopefully one of these people could give him one.

Griselda had only been standing there for a few moments, watching more students and teachers arriving and occasionally stealing glances at the forest below them all, when Dusk spoke up to interrupt her from her thoughts, "I suggest you look above before we get crushed, girl."

"Hm?" Doing as the Grimm suggested out of reflex, she looked up and saw a red dot growing bigger and bigger in the sky as it descended to earth. It almost looked like...a person? Crimson eyes widening, Griselda only had a second to jump backwards before the red dot came crashing down, creating a crater in the process which brought with it a cloud of dust. Coughing, and rubbing the dirt out of her eyes, she just about reprimanded the person out of annoyance when she realized the man was a teacher (and quite the...flamboyant one, at that) by his choice of words after landing, causing her to swallow any choice words down. He then walked to the other teachers as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened, making the platinum haired girl blink, utterly perplexed on multiple levels. Random much?

"Oookay then." Griselda muttered at last, at the same time hearing Dusk utter some insults towards the man in her head. That had been an...interesting entrance to be sure. Shaking her head, she watched as Headmaster Ozpin walked up, and listening to his words, walked up to one of the pads, preparing herself for the launch. So the teammates all of the students paired up within the forest would also mean for the remainder of their time at Beacon? Griselda could only hope she'd be paired up with an individual whom she could easily sync with, or else things would get rocky to say the least. She hoped, of all the people she had talked to today, it would perhaps be Sakamoto she would be partnered up with, despite the fact that he also had a grimm inside of him.

Sensing someone glaring at her, she turned her head slightly to see a boy a few pads down sizing her and the other students up, making her raise an eyebrow and ask quietly in response, "How about you take a picture? It'll last longer." As soon as she said the words, she inwardly cursed at her own tongue, knowing that she had possibly just made an enemy. But she couldn't help it. Arrogance rolled off the brown haired male in waves, reminding her of Dusk. She tried to not judge a book by its cover, but something about him just rubbed her the wrong way.

Whether he heard her or not, the boy then asked, as everyone was being launched into the air one by one mind you, if hunting down the other students would be appropriate. Before Griselda herself could respond, she found herself being launched into the air and with that any thoughts other than making a decent landing went straight from her head. Pulling the crossbow from a bag on her person, she immediately went to work as she spun through the air, and silently praying to whatever forest god was out there to forgive her, fired several bolts of earth and then gravity dust to create temporary platforms in the air. These platforms only stayed in the air for mere seconds, but it allowed her to create one after another as she descended towards the ground. When she was close enough to the earth to make a proper landing, she jumped, her bare feet touching the soft ground beneath.

She didn't get a chance to rest for long before something black out of the corner of her eye lunged at her. She flipped backwards, barely avoiding the Ursa's claws in time. As the beast roared, she clicked a button on Nebula Striker's side, and with a a few clicks, the weapon had transformed into a hammer.

Taking a deep breath, she swung the hammer, using her semblance to make the movement even stronger, as the Grimm charged at her.

Honey continued her search of her red lensed glasses, tapping around the ground to make sure she could find them. Her hands were touching all kinds of things, from small bugs, animals, and even small rocks. While searching she heard Professor Opzin's most inspiring speech. I have to quickly find them or I won't be able to fight the grimm for long. She thought, picking up her pace to find her glasses.

Sensing someone approaching her direction, the pink haired girl stiffened up in hopes that they would just quickly leave her alone. Honey quickly took her glasses from the black haired person, then turned to bow towards him in respect. She quickly took a peek at the male, a judgemental thought crossed her mind. He looks a bit.....small to be a student here. And besides something tells me to be weary of him. She thought, carefully peering at him.

Her eyes were still the shade of light purple, despite receiving her judgemental attitude. She was worried for a different reason now, that her semblance wouldn't cause any problems to the young faunus. "Thank you." While bowing towards the faunus male, she heard him start to walk away to the launch pads. She started to turn to walk there herself but she managed to drop her glasses once more. Ah shoot, not again. Honey thought while feeling her glasses bounce off her boots.

This was the second time today, she was never this clumsy on any day. Perhaps it was just first day jitters? It made no sense, Honey was not one to be nervous about most things. Her eyes quickly returned to grey though, once she heard the approach of another person. This time it was another faunus, though with a tail. "Thanks." It was a brief acknowledgement towards the white haired male. She completely brushed him off just like the previous faunus that had tried to help her.

So all I have to do is get a relic with a partner? I'll try to be quick with this....in and out.
She sighed, her eyes flashing light purple again before settling back down to grey. Silently while recalling all the information Professor Ozpin was spilling with his speech, the girl began to go into her mind. While thinking though Honey secretly wished that everyone would pass her up so she could travel by herself.

If she were to partner with someone then she hoped that she didn't bring them down with her cursed semblance. She also wished deep in her own inner heart that everyone would make it out of the forest alive. The pink haired girl made sure to secure her glasses onto her face before walking to the launch pad. She didn't have to wait long because as soon as she stepped on her pad, the petite girl was launched into the air.

It was amazing to feel the rush of wind in her face as Honey soared through the air. When she started to approach the tree line, the girl reached for her wrist. She press a button on the side, her bracelet turned into a long but thick red string. Aiming it art a passing tree branch, she quickly threw it at the branch. The rope wrapped around the tree branch, allowing her to stop herself from plummeting into even more trees.

Azura turned to Ozpin when he started talking about the initiation. There was barely anything to remember that was of importance. Once you find a partner, then you and that partner would have to retrieve a relic and then go back to the top of the cliff. Simple. She looked back at the Emerald Forest and then sighed. Surely the opposition he was talking about were the Grimm. Well, it didn't really matter to her. She's been training almost all her life for this. It might not have been formal training in a pre-huntsman school, like Signal, but she's amassed experience in fighting with Grimm through some fights breaking out in Menagerie when Grimm suddenly decided to attack. It was made all the worse for her, since her home was near the border between the entirety of Menagerie and a forest where the Grimm were - and those water Grimm.

She saw some of her future classmates sizing each other up - one even did it with a glare and then asked Ozpin if it were possible to simply hunt down other students for their relic for extra points. Wow, ten over ten, good cooperation skills. Azura wasn't one to judge quickly, but it was all too obvious that the man was arrogant to the point where only a small amount of people could work with him. She just hoped she wouldn't end up with him. Another one of the students flipped the questioning man off. Perhaps... perhaps she should've stayed in Menagerie after all. Shaking her head, she knew that it was a mistake for her to think like that.

Azura stepped onto the launching pad and it immediately... well, launched her into the air. It caught the small Faunus by surprise and her mind went blank for a second. Thankfully, her mind cleared before she even started to descend. As she did, she went into a diving position to speed up her descent. Before she could splatter onto the ground, Gravity dust was released from her weaponry and covered her. Taking control of said dust, she slowly decreased the effect of gravity on her which caused her to land softly onto the ground. She smiled to herself, pleased with the outcome. She had been experimenting with gravity dust recently, finding that it had more uses to her than anyone else. Hypothetically, she could even fly using it. She made a mental note to see if she could infuse gravity dust into her clothing so she would be able to tap into it constantly.

Her ears flicked as she heard rustling noise not far from her. It didn't seem to be getting any closer, so that meant she could avoid needless encounter with whatever that was. If it were another student or a Grimm, she didn't stay to find out. While most would say that this was a coward's way out, she personally thought this was a smart move. She'd rather not waste any energy fighting something she could just as easily avoid. Surely, there were more challenging Grimm out there that would need more than enough of her energy, so reserving it for now was ideal. "Well, not that anyone would care..." She muttered to herself, fully knowing that only Ozpin and the teachers could see her right now so there wasn't any reason to panic and think about what her fellow students thought about it.

Keeping one hand on her katana and the other one swatting rogue branches out of the way, she trudged on forward to see if she could find someone else or if she could find the abandoned temple instead. Either was ideal. She kept her ears perked up and nose sniffing for anything that didn't smell normal in the forest.

The time has come, but would Colt do anything to pass this initiation. Even with the presence of Karma, his mentor and the one who gave him his semblance,Colt is still having doubts on whether or not he can do it. He gulped a few times before he rushes to an open pad, but not knowing that once he steps on it, the pad launches him into the air. Colt screamed, he is now panicking, but yet excited on what he is about to do. He doesn't want to get stabbed by the trees or its branches, and soon, he finds an open field that he is now nearing.

Colt thought of an idea to use his semblance to his entire arm so he can use the stockpiled strength to cushion the impact, and so he did, but then he realized that using his semblance on his entire arm would be dangerous especially when facing the Grimm he will unexpectedly encounter. Colt begins to focus his semblance by spreading it into his right index finger, and with a loud yell, he releases his strength against the ground that cause a mild shockwave that leaves a small crater on it and even so, cushions his fall.

As a result to what happened, his finger is now bruised, but Colt tolerates the pain. He scans around the forest and hopes that if ever he could meet someone will be his partner. He would then dash into the thick trees.

Aryl had been very excited ever since this morning, having woken up early and making his way to the cafeteria before many of the others had. After he eat he rather quickly and jovially made his way to his locker, opening it and retrieving his bow and axe, as well as a quiver. He put the axe and quiver on each hip, then the bow went across his back. He sat around, not talking with anyone but instead making sure his outfit was in accordance. He currently wore his normal outfit, a tannish coat, khakis, black boots, and a black scarf. The only thing that really would have changed fro, this would have a tan beret that currently hid his wolf ears.

He looked over his equipment one last time, looking up to see a few students walking to the Cliffside, he had assumed. He rose, brushed himself off, then walked with them, gold eyes scanning everyone he saw, mainly their weapons if they were visible. He smirked to himself, hoping he'd get to see half of these weapons in combat. He finally made his way to the Cliffside, opting to sit under a tree and wait for the test to begin. He saw more and more students flood to the cliffs until finally Ozpin decided to call everyone to order. Aryl stood and made his way to one of the pads, a bit wary of what they may be.

When he launched into the air it certainly took him by surprise, but not by much as he flew through the air. He needed a way to land, and fast, and that was when an idea struck him. He pulled out his bow and nocked an arrow, firing it into a tree he was on a path toward. The arrow hit, and after a few minutes of concentration the arrow detonated, causing the tree to fall and form a perfect ramp to the ground. He slid down the tree and rolled when it sharply met the ground, stumbling forward and gaining his balance.

Eisen continued with enthusiastic stroll through the woods, occasionally putting down another minor Grimm or two, but yet to have fun with killing more important baddies. Oh well, eventually, he'd find something worth his time and effort, a proper challenge for the future world's strongest. If videogames taught him anything it was that the bigger enemies would be closer to his goal. So either it was still a long way off, or he was lost as all get out.

An explosion nearby drew him from his reverie. Oh boy, someone else was fighting something. Maybe he'd go pop in and size up a future rival. Or have an awkward conversation with his piss poor social skills. Both were highly likely. But he'd stomp that challenge when it came down to it, as was his wont.

He crested a small hill in time to see a tall, decently built male faunus picking himself up after presumably sliding or rolling down the currently smoking tree laying halfway down. Similar to Eisen, this man also had a fake arm, although it didn't look quite as top-tier as his. "Damn. Couldn't have been a hot chick." But Ozpin had said something about partners. Eisen wasn't really a teamster, but he figured it would be better than nothing right now, considering his rather limited range. Dude had a bow. Useful.

Eisen continued his slow stroll towards his fellow initiate, Not quite about this course of action but not having a ton more options, although he did consider just disappearing back into the forest to find more killables.

"Oi. You. I suppose you'll do. Let's partner up." Eisen called out as he came to a stop a few meters away from the unknown faunus. His mismatched arms crossed over his brawny bare chest as he stopped, his red eyes, locked in their permanent glare, met his, and a few moments passed before his gaze softened (ever so slightly).

"Ugh. That probably came out wrong. You have a bow. I have fists. We'd complement each other's capabilities long enough to get out of this forest with our relics. Let's go."

Honestly, Eisen could care less whether this guy followed or not. He was already strolling towards the north (he hoped), and towards his goal. If he didn't have a teammate after that rousing speech, then he probably was better off alone, because that was all he had.

Aryl had risen in time to see someone approaching him, and he rather quickly nocked an arrow and drew back his bow. He kept it drawn tight until the person spoke. It was rather brusque and abrupt, but it got the point across. "Not even gonna give me a name, tough guy?" Aryl asked, releasing the tension off the string and lowering the bow. "And if you think I can't handle myself at close quarters, you'd be wrong... But." He stopped, returning the arrow to it's quiver. Staying alone in this forest would be a bad idea, and far from productive, so let's go." He then said to him.

Aryl went to follow after him, but then realized which way he was going. "That's west!" Aryl called out, returning the bow to his back and proceeding to jog ahead of him, then making a sharp right to head north.
