Reznos checked his watch. He had been leaning against this wall in the lobby far too long. "Hey RoyToy! When are the fresh faces supose to arrive again?" He asked, chuckling slightly. Reznos liked to joke around with people, and everyone knew it. He wasn't a major prankster, but people usualy didn't get too upset with him anyway. He always seemed to lighten the mood for people.
Aura reported to the training room just as Reznos had told him to. Apperantly there would be new arrivals today. After the blow that struck squad seven last month, they sure needed more people. He just hoped they wouldn't all need to be trained from nothing.
"So.... " Reznos leaned in closer to Roy. "How many you getting?" He asked Roy, a sly grin on his face. "Those in squad one are the elite right? If your squad is getting a new member they must be something else eh?"
"Eeeehhh maybe just a little. You get all the interesting people. But don't forget... we aren't supposed to talk about Project Hybrid. He um... still hasn't "Awakened" if you know what I mean. Besides.... you know how he is. How do you think he would react if he found out he was half reaper?" Reznos said, leaning back against the wall and checking his pockets. "Damn... can't find my cigar pack...."
"Aura is in the training room right now. And apperantly he didn't pay attention to what he signed. I don't know all the details of it, but I was told not to tell him. Anyway there is a recruit now! Wonder who gets her." Reznos said teasingly.
The door to the lobby opened slightly but immediately closed. Kirsa stood behind, staring at the handle for a long moment before entering the large lobby. Earlier when she was entering, she had an extremely hard time finding her ID, pissing off people behind her but also the guards. Hanging from her shoulder was a small bag, Kirsa gripped the strap tightly before looking around. She was nervous, receiving a project core, even at her mental state but she also felt honored to be among the most elite. Maybe her other crazy personality could be of some help?
Roy gave Reznos a strange look, then looked at the Aura lookalike. "Weird... Though that was him... Alright, looks like I'm blind," he muttered as he stood up. He looked at the girl with a raised eyebrow. He looked her up and down briefly, though not in an intimidating way, and gave her a little smile. "Hello, hello, and which squad are you?"
She slowly brought her eyes to look at the man but was silent for a moment, only blinking a few times. Kirsa then looked around before pointing at herself. "Me?" She asked in a gentle tone. "Uhm.. I was told, Squad 1." Kirsa responded as she gripped her bag ever so tightly.
Roy nodded. "You, yeah. There's... No other recruits in this room," he said with a wide smile. He walked over and ended up towering over the girl with his height. "So you're Kirsa then, perfect. Let's get you settled in.~" He said cheerfully before gently grabbing her hand with a gloved hand and leading her off. Before he left, he looked at Reznos with a jokingly shady grin. "Growing my collection, don't you see?" And with that, he had left the lobby with his Project and led her towards the barracks. While walking, he let go of the girl and looked at her with his usual smile.
"So, tell me about yourself. It's not common for someone to join Squad One, so you better be good with the attention," he said as they walked through the halls that led to the barracks.
Noticeably bothered by the touch, Kirsa quickly yanked her hand from the older man before looking up at him. It was starting to make her neck sore. "Uhm.. Well, I earned the Project Plutus Gemstone Core.." She responded quietly as she walked beside him. "I also have a lot of knowledge in the medical field, but I'm not really a fighter."
"Not a fighter, huh? I guess you'll be useful as support for the others. Though, we'll have to train you to at least be able to fend off a Reaper long enough for someone to help you, hopefully you understand," he said as he gave her an apology for the touch in the form of a sympathetic smile. "Anyway, congratulations on the successful surgery, hopefully you don't feel groggy or anything from it?"
"Oh, I can also cook! And make medicine." Kirsa shouted for a moment before letting her voice die down, looking to the side awkwardly. "But, yeah.. I feel fine, thank you for asking." She responded with a soft smile before looking around at the barracks. "Uhh.. where is everyone else?"
"Cook, huh? Well maybe you and Djuna can learn from each other sometime," he said, chuckling a little. "You two could probably make some sort of feast fit for a king. And to answer the 'other people are where' question, Djuna should be in the barracks, probably dyeing her hair, and Revnoir is off doing whatever that little guy does."
"Djun.. Djuna? Revnoir?" She cocked her head to the side slightly as she looked up at him. "Okay.. I'll just, get myself settled them." Kirsa nodded with her warm smile before setting her bag down on a table.
(REV REV, YOUR LOVE LOVE IS HERE.)
(Wait, table in the barracks? Let's go with that...?) Roy stared for a long moment. "Right, you don't know them. Alright, well Djuna is the other girl in the squad, and Revnoir is the other guy in the squad. Simple as that. You'll meet her in a sec, I'll go check if she's in the other room," he said as he went off and knocked on the bathroom door. "Djunaaaaaaaaaaa, she's heeeeeeere!~"
"Give me just a moment, yeah? I'll be out in just a minute," a girl's voice came from the bathroom. Her accent wasn't from Canada, and her voice sounded oddly soothing.
"Will do."
(IDK. What do the barracks look like. ; - ; )
Kirsa blinked for a moment and looked around for a place to sit. "Alrightie... so uhm, how does this work? You know like living here."
"Well, each squad has their own barracks so you're staying here just with Djuna. Revnoir is across the hall, and he's a lucky little shit because he get's the room all to himself. For now, at least. Just treat this like a dorm-ish kind of place, mkay? Make yourself at home."
"Yes, yes, make yourself at home. You get to stay here with me!~ You can put your things wherever you'd like, so go ahead and choose whichever bed you'd like. Except for that one, that's mine," Djuna said as she walked out of the bathroom and nodded towards a bed with her things on it. "So, your name is Kirsa, yeah?" Djuna had a kind smile plastered over her lips, which gave her a very friendly look as she walked over to the new girl.
Kirsa smiled warmly back, sitting down on the other bed as she patted the sheets softly. "Yeah.. My name is Kirsa. You are Djuna right?"
