After arriving at the tournament and greeting everyone she came across. Once she signed in Vera went to her waiting room she was assigned to in area three. Vera decided to work on her cane while she waited. Every so often taking glances at the fight to see if she could get any ideas for her next project out of it. Not wanting to give to away to miss out on a chance to make any final adjustments before her turn came up. Once she messed with me it some she would take a couple of swings with it before tinker with it more. Until Vamp got her attention about the match heating up. "Oh, I completely forgot". laughing it off. "I got to into my own world there so what's up. " Looking back at the fight.

Will Diamant
All he'd managed to hit were fakes...which was both good and bad. Good, because he narrowed the targets down. Bad, because he'd accomplished no damage. He had more than enough mana to keep up a full scale covering for now, but it'd burn him out if he wasn't careful. Seeing Kyoya raise up out of his shadow and essentially level up, Will couldn't help the wide grin that covered his face as he got charged. "Going for a direct assault!? Let's see if you can break through my defense then!" Drawing his own fist back as he widened his stance in preperating for the blow, layers upon layers of diamond began to coat his fist until it had tripled in size. "Diamond Dragon Crush!" As Kyoya got closer, Will began to swing the massive fist. As powerful as it was, it was one of his slower attacks, so he had to get the wind up going early on. He was going to try to hit him in the center of mass at his chest, where it'd be easiest to land a hit. He wasn't going to bother to dodge, he'd tank it dangit! Besides, if Kyoya was coming to him, it was just easier to hit him at that point!

Kyoya Blackam​

Kyoya aimed his punch at Will's diamond jaw. His fist collided as Will punched his chest. The shadows around his body cushioned the punch; without them he surely would have had the wind knocked out of him, but instead he was pushed back a couple inches.

He charged back in to punch again. If more blows were traded, the shadows around his body would eventually start to weaken and look like they were beginning to melt like candle wax.

Will Diamant
Will skid back an inch or so as the fist collided with his jaw, though blow little more than a tickle while he had his defense up like this. He had a few minutes, so he either had to find a chance to eat something, or break through Kyoya's own defense in that time. "Let's see who's shell breaks first then! I told you I wasn't going to hold back!" As he swung again towards Kyoya's jaw, his free hand went back, hand wide open as diamonds started to elongate along his fingers like claws. He'd burn more mana this way, but it was either break through or be broken through! "Diamond Dragon Claw!" As the 'claw' finished growing he took a wide swipe towards Kyoya's feet, the sickle like claws intent to knock him off his balance.

Kyoya Blackam​

Will's leg swipe knocked Kyoya onto his back. He started to punch up at Will, determined to try to break his defenses.

His shadows continued to weaken as they were pummeled. His Shadow Demon mode melted around him; once his face was exposed, he tapped out of the fight.

Will Diamant

Having knocked Kyoya onto his back, Will didn't have that hard of a time stepping out of the way of the blow this time, the sickle like claws disappeared, leaving Will to try to bring his giant fist down on Kyoya's face in an attempt to knock him out. His fist stopped just inches from his face as he tapped out, Will pausing before giving a laugh. Dropping his scales he offered a hand out to Kyoya, grinning wide. "Good fight! Honestly, if you hadn't gotten right in front of me with that trap of yours, you'd probably have stopped me all together. I don't think I have anything in my arsenal to get out of a bind like that. Good fight!" After complimenting the bout, will reached into his satchel and pulled out the first thing that his hand found. Staring at what it was, one could swear a tear formed in his eye. "It's coal..." Energy was energy at any rate but...dammit! Opening his mouth, he bit into the coal like he was eating a piece of rock candy, until the entire thing was shoved into his cheeks and chewed up. As he tried to swallow it, tears rolled down his cheeks and he gagged softly...though he swallowed it. Doubling over he gave a wheeze, like he'd been punched in the chest too hard. "God it's so bad...."

"That... was... AMAZING!" Kiara exclaimed excitedly as the fight came to an end. She looked over at Tora, hoping that her feline friend wouldn't be too upset that Kyoya had been beaten. "Kyoya was brilliant out there!" She enthused. "It's been ages since I've seen Will have to go 'Full diamond,'"

A moment of silence filled the arena as the fighting came to an end, but, after a brief moment, the crowd went crazy. "The winner of our first match is Will Diamant!!!" Sure shouted as the dust settled. Once Will and Kyoya had vacated the arena, any damage to the arena would start to magically repair itself and after a few moments, the arena was as good as new once again. "So, who's ready for our next fight?" Surge asked the crowd cheered in response. "Very well, let's bring on our next two contestants!" Surge roared. "First, we have the dragon of the seas, from Fairy Tail, Dan Mishima!" The crowd cheered as a gate opened allowing Dan to step out into the arena. "And his opponent, a wizard who has the ability to wield the literal blood of her enemies, Kon Naoko!" The other gate opened to allow Kon to walk into the arena opposite Dan.

She looked at Dan and her heart beat faster. She didn't know why exactly so she just brushed it off as her being nervous about the fight. The audience gave a huge cheer as Dan and Kon stepped into the arena. “Right then...” Surge said, “Let the second battle of the tournament begin!” He shouted, the crowd screened in excitement.

Dan didn’t attack immediately, he watched Kon, her magic involved blood so he didn’t want to get sucker punched in the nose and used as her weapon, she undoubtedly had some way to get her own blood to use, luckily though he didn’t need to get close to attack. “Water dragon ROAR!” He shot a steady stream of water out of his mouth aimed at Kon.

As the excitement from Dan and Kon's battle started to die down, Surge called out to the audience once again. "Who's ready for the next battle!?" He roared and the crowd roared in response. "Well, have we got an intriguing lineup for you all next," Surge declared. "First, we have a woman of many guises, she has shown herself capable of beating some pretty tough opponents, even with her arms tied behind her back... oh wait..." Surge smirked for a second before mumbling "oh wait" under his breath, he then returned to his booming voice, "it's fairy tail's own Requip mage, Kiara!" Sure shouted.

"I swear to god, Surge..." Kiara muttered to herself as Surge made a painfully obvious reference to the loss of her limbs, or, at least, it was painfully obvious to her. Kiara strolled out into the arena with a huge smile on her face and waved at the cheering crowd. She'd had a 'grander' entrance planned but Surge's comment had caught her so off guard that she opted for just waving instead.

"And Kiara's opponent is a guileless mage who can literally knock you off your feet with her Gravity magic, I'm intrigued, are you?" Surge asked, delaying the name announcement for some added tension, "It's Vera!" Surge called as the crowd roared and the gate on Vera's end of the arena started to open

And to everyone, this is an attempt at a revival, my tagging isn't working great, the three I used here took forever to get to work so I haven't tagged everyone yet. Vera Stinger


Upon hearing her name called Vera walks out into the arena giving a small wave to the people in the crowd. Before turning to her opponent with a smile on her face. Looking over Kiara she sees what the Surge fellow was referring to. She is missing her limbs and they were replaced with very nice looking artificial ones. Vera got the sudden urge to want to take them apart and see how they worked. To see if it would help with her research. But she held back not knowing if they were made by some quack or a genius.

Vera picked up a rock off the ground and started throwing it in the air, and catching it. While standing in her respective position. Knowing that she was facing a requip mage she would have to be careful at close range. "Well as you heard my name is Vera nice to meet you, I hope you will put a good fight here I don't want this to be an uneventful... match." Stopping herself from saying test. Not wanting anyone to know that this was a test for herself more than anything.

Kiara instinctively clutched her arm, wishing that she'd opted for wearing one of her more concealing sets of armour. But she'd chosen her breeze armour for a reason. It was the armour that allowed Kiara to be most versatile and, as she had no idea who she would be facing until it was too late to change, she'd decided that versatility would be her safest option. Kiara snapped back to reality as she heard Vera calling to her. "Nice to meet you too, vera" Kiara replied, she then smiled playfully. "Don't worry, I'll come at you with all I've got, as long as you do the same."

Surge counted down with the crowd "3!.... 2!..... 1!...." There was a brief pause before finally, surge shouted "Fight!" and the audience cheered once again.

Kiara remained in position, watching Vera like a hawk. Surge had mentioned that her magic had something to do with Gravity, which wasn't something Kiara had encountered before. She didn't want to make any hasty movements in case they ended up just being hasty mistakes.

Takehiro Yashoba

Magnolia, a sizable and beautiful city surrounded by forests, mountains and the sea itself. A city that was now in the midst of a grand, yet noisy celebration, not that Takehiro minded. The loud bustling streets of a city reveling allowed the navy blue haired male to learn of the occurrences within Magnolia without ever moving from his spot on the lush green grass. The young mage laid down upon the well tended stalks of grass outside of the Infirmary tent that had been set up nearby Magnolia's arena for the day's tournament. Takehiro had been laying in his spot for the better part of three hours, patiently waiting for his signal as he listened in on passerby and the healers within the Infirmary tent. Nothing truly important had occurred as of yet and the only fascinating news to reach Takehiro's ears so far had been the blessed lack of injuries throughout the tournament so far. The day was shaping up to be a surprisingly lax one in spite of what he had been told. Still, that much was perfectly fine since the boisterous yet peaceful day and pleasant weather offered a respite that was long overdue.

When I am needed, I will know. The navy blue haired male decided as he continued to rest in his spot next to his odd looking magitek suit, "Jack". Takehiro had truthfully received a few inquires in regards to his suit's specifications from a few of the passing city guardsmen and mages. Was the odd looking creature alive? Was it armor? Was it a statue? Was it forbidden tech? Takehiro never answered these questions with words, knowing full well that doing so would only cause complications to arise. Instead, the young mage simply let those asking questions to observe his powered down suit. He was confident that no one within the city of Magnolia would be capable of opening "Jack" up, but Takehiro did mentally note just how long an inquirer remained by his suit. If the individual remained by "Jack" longer than Takehiro was comfortable with, the navy blue haired male would then make an effort to open his eyes and memorize that specific individual's face and their reactions. Most of the people who bothered Takehiro were content to believe that "Jack" was merely a strange statue and proclaimed as much. Though, there were a few who did not, which did not do much to instill comfort within Takehiro. I may need to make a few additions to today's list. The young mage considered as he continued to patiently wait within the small, green patch of grass for the signal to be set off.

Kiara returned her greeting with a smile of her own hoping for a good battle. With that, the battle was started. Vera decided to make the first move seeing that her opponent didn't make one."Alright, let's being." Using her free hand " Magic Chain " twirling it around like a whip before launching several attacks in an attempt to hook her with it.If it lands she will slam drag her into the walls and ground. She does this can while she prepares "Chain link" with the rock in her other hand. In which she will use to bring out Ruge.

Kiara leapt to the side, barely avoiding the first attack from the chain whip. "What the..." She muttered to herself under her breath. She had not been expecting that from someone who'd been introduced as a 'Gravity Magic-User' so either Kiara had completely misunderstood what Gravity Magic entailed, or Vera was capable of using multiple types of magic. Kiara avoided a few of the attacks, using the extra speed her armour granted to ensure that she could avoid each strike safely. She stopped for a moment and held out her hand. There was a flash of light and a blade appeared in her hand. The light dissipated but was replaced by a warm, orange glow. Kiara's sword was made from a dark material but its core glowed brightly and gave off an intense heat. As the next attack came to her, rather than dodging, Kiara swung her sword at the chain, hoping that she's be able to cut through or melt through the chain to give herself an opening.

Vera Stinger

Kiara dodged all of her attacks which kinda surprised Vera. But what got her, even more, was the fact that she cut through her chain. So that was one other weapons. Vera could feel the heat from the blade. An couldn't do much because she was still channeling her other spell. So all she did was take a defensive stance with her cane. If it came down to it she would use Gravity coat on her cane for close range. All she needed was a little more time.

Kiara breathed a sigh of relief as her sword cut through the chain. Without hesitation she shot towards Vera, wanting to make the most of this opening, using her wings for a speed boost as she slashed her sword in Vera's direction. Due to her haste, Kiara had no idea of the spells that Vera was working on other than the chains that, until recently, had been hurtling towards her.

With the spell, complete Vera throws the rock above Kiara, and activities the spell. Chain Link.
Once done the sound of breaking glass can be heard as Ruge falls in a attempt to crush Kiara.

"Let the real game begin."Following that that she uses Fall on both Kiara and Ruge.

Kara noticed the area around her suddenly darken. She looked up to see a large object hurtling down towards her. She lept to the side, just in time to avoid being caught directly beneath the object as it fell to the floor. But, instead of gracefully dodging the object and following with a counter-attack as she had planned, Kiara dodged away and fell to the floor with a thump as a result of the sudden increase in the gravity around her, hitting her head on the floor. "Ah!" She gasped as a splitting pain coursed through her head. Her whole body felt heavy, really heavy. She at first wanted to place that down to possible concussion, but then remembered that she was dealing with a gravity mage. Kiara rolled over so that she was no longer lying on her back but was now lying on her belly and looked up at Vera and the 'Object' that she'd been so desperate to avoid. She glanced between Vera and this hulking armoured figure. "So it's 2 against 1?" She muttered to herself. Making no apparent effort to move from where she was lying on the floor. "Y'know, when this is over, you're really going to have to explain to me how this all comes under Gravity Magic," Kiara called up to Vera. "I mean, don't get me wrong, it's impressive, but if this is all gravity-based, I need to take a physics course or something..." Kiara remained on the floor, keeping her gaze fixated on both Vera and this new entity.

With a huge flap of her wings, Kiara managed to pull herself backwards and upwards enough to land on her feet. It wasn't the most graceful landing in history, thanks to the increased gravitational effects being caused by Vera's magic. Kiara dashed to the side, using the wings on her armour to try and fight the increased gravity and still manage to pick up some momentum but it was taking a lot of effort. Kiara picked up her sword which she had dropped upon falling to the ground moments ago and prepared to attack Vera from the side, hoping that she'd been able to react quickly enough to catch vera off guard. But then, something caught Kiara's attention. The sky above the arena seemed to ripple for a moment. Kiara immediately stopped her attack. As ne was no longer focused on moving the increased gravity forced her onto her knees. "Wait..." Kiara tried to call out to Vera to get her to stop fighting. "The barrier!" She added, her voice betraying the amount of effort it was taking for Kiara to not be completely pinned to the floor by Vera's magic.

Surge cursed under his breath as he saw the barrier that was protecting the spectators deactivate. It was likely that no one else had noticed, but Surge had been waiting for something like this to happen, just not yet. Surge dashed out of the commentators booth without saying anything about the barrier, likely leaving the vast majority of the spectators and possibly even the participants completely unaware.

Dan Mishima had just gotten off of a long job. Much longer then he thought it would be. He was making his way back to the guild, he saw all the festivities and smiled. “Hm. They started without me.” He jumps up onto the rooftops to watch from above. He sees Kiara and Vera fighting and jumps over, he calls in his polite tone. “Excuse me Kiara! Are you in need of assistance?!” He was more level headed then most dragonslayers, any other of his type most likely would’ve just attacked without thought.

"This something." Releasing the effects of Fall from Kiara and Ruge. Calling him to her side seeing that something was happening that might not have been planned. Taking notes of the way Kiara was moving around was not what's she was expecting. This made Vera want to do a more detailed assessment of her way of moving around. She suddenly asked her to halt their fight ." But Miss equip would you mind telling me why you wish to stop I'm not sure if you are just buying time or are you serious. I don't mind if you want a helper though it makes it more fun " Pointing at the fellow yelling from the roof of a neighboring building.
