Magic Space Dragon Teens: Setting Information
Setting: Springvale, Colorado, 2018
MSDT takes place in the fictional small city of Springvale, Colorado. If you've never been to Colorado, all you need to know it that it's a gorgeous place with kick-ass mountains. It's very popular for skiiing. It's mostly rural with some big cities, so everyone is basically a farmer/rancher, or super outdoorsy hipster. There's an Air Force Academy there, which means if you wreck enough shit, you might get the military interested in these dragon scales.
Abaddon and the Nine Guardian Dragons
In case it wasn't clear in the main thread, Abaddon is basically a black hole that is a portal to a giant prison for magical villains. The stupid cheap spellbook that Christy bought was so wrong it was right, and it cracked open a backdoor in Abaddon through which one of the demons escaped.
If you go through the proper entrance of Abaddon, it's guarded by nine dragons. Each dragon has a domain or element of some sort. Since the dragons are technically artificial beings and therefore "things" in the eyes of higher powers, they don't actually have names. Have fun naming your patron dragon later in the story!

Fire: Blast shields are for the weak. Give everything all you have, and then go above and beyond to make history. Or explosions. Or both.
Water: She tried so hard and in the end it doesn't even matter. She could part the Red Sea and walk on water but no one will listen to the goody two-shoes. Glub.
Earth: "Demons tremble when a good man goes to war." Or when a mountain gets so angry that it literally vomits lava. That happened. There are scars to prove it.
Wood: She smiles because she knows one day her plants will devour your dead body whole. You DID spit out those watermelon seeds, right?
Metal: Sure, he could crush you alive. But he is an artist, a visionary. You could even call him... refined. Or just greedy, since he'll gladly fight magpies for shiny objects.
Air: Prisoners don't notice her until it's too late. It could be because she's invisible, or it could have been the tornado. It's a good distraction.
Lightning: High strung. High voltage. Highly interested in everyone's personal life. There are no secrets, mostly because he can't keep them.
Void: Distance is meaningless. The timespace continuum is her playground. Is definitely indirectly responsible for the prison break, somehow. She breaks everything she touches.
Blood: He knows every bone in your body, and every bacterium in your bowels. Unfortunately, this is also considered a major violation of privacy. You won't be needing a second opinion.
Using a dragon's scale will gift you a fraction of their magical power.
