Magic Space Dragon Teens: Character Profiles
Rules
Read all this shit first before you start making your character.
When you're done making your character (or just done enough to want an opinion), post the profile in the OOC thread.
If I like your character, I'll tell you to post them here. Once they're posted here, you can post in the RP.
If you're feeling bold or helpful, talk to other players about their characters.
General Guidelines
Since this is a magical girl inspired RP, it was made with certain tropes in mind. One was that most of the characters will be in high school (so between 13 and 18 years old). This is not a hard and fast rule, however, and I'm not gonna knock on anyone who wants to play an older or younger character.
Players can choose to either play a human character, or a demon. For human characters, they likely got involved in the story when they either picked up a scale, or witnessed weird magical bullshit going down. For demon characters, they most likely escaped Abaddon during Christy's ritual, or have been fugitives hiding on Earth for some time.
The dragons are NPCs, and therefore only have vague personalities. That's so you can write your character as interacting with them, without me needing to post as nine different characters. Which, I could do... but I'm lazy.
The dragons also have no names, and I will have them react periodically to characters trying to give them nicknames. Some of them might become official. If your character's nickname for a dragon becomes canonically accepted, you get a prize. I'm just not sure what.
If I do not see at least one blue-haired bishounen in the cast, you are all dead to me.
Profile Content
You will need the following information for your character's profile.
Eh, maybe Pokemon is better after all. Each magical character (even demons!) get four named moves. And even though they're attacks, they don't have to be offense - your character can summon a mighty shield for a heavy attack, or their light attack can be some sort of debuff. It's more about how often they use it/how important it is, then how much damage it does.
Then just do it. You have a weapon, and four unique, named abilities - but that's not the end-all, be-all, of what your character can do. Remember that they can use small amounts of their powers without transforming. Remember that there's no penalty for practical, applied use of magic.
You won't have to transform and use your ultimate ability to save the day every damn time. But it'll be cool as fuck if you do.

You have my blessing to go all out on decorating the profile, so long as the content is the same.

- Name
- Gender
- Age
- Written appearance: Just a quick written description of your character's normal, human appearance. Or human disguise, if they have one.
- Anime-style picture: I also accept art you've drawn yourself, or screenshots from dress-up games.
- Personality: Like, one or two paragraphs tops. It really doesn't need to be detailed.
- Backstory: If you're going to be writing 4+ paragraphs involving orphanages, child soldiers, abusive step-parents, joining the circus, etc.... Hide it behind a spoiler because all I care about it one or two paragraphs about how the fuck they got to where they are in the beginning of the story.
- A second anime-style picture (you know, for their magical girl outfit, or true demon appearance, or whatever).
- Written description of magical appearance
- Weapon: Everyone gets a themed/unique weapon, of course!
- Abilities. Each character will get three to four special, unique moves. It's like Pokemon, but better. Details below!
- And a super-duper awesome theme song to go with their make-believe transformation or battle sequence!

- Weapon: I'm lumping this in here even though it's not an ability per se. Everyone gets a unique magical weapon, kinda like in RWBY. Try not to be overpowered, unless we all collectively decide to be overpowered together.
- Passive Ability: Mercy's self-healing. Spider-man's spidey-senses. Some sort of small, low-key passive ability that your character can't turn off.
- Light attack: Your character's standard, go-to special ability. Think Sailor Moon's tiara attack, or Megaman's humble Buster Gun. It should be simple but still get shit done.
- Heavy attack: The big guns, for when you need big guns. A stronger ability than the light attack, and it can't be used as often - but it still can pack a punch. The equivalent of a Pokemon move that only has 10 PP.
- Ultimate ability: This is your goddamn baby. Your super-unique, one-of-kind, finishing move. If it's not flashy, you're doing it wrong. This ability can be combined with other characters' ultimate abilities to make extra-special finishing moves.
