Fantasy Magi Sisters

Devon tried not to scoff so she could wake up from this weird dream and go back to living a normal life. "Alright, I'll go along," she said knowing that if she fought it anymore she wouldn't wake up sooner and it she didn't wake up this crazy dream would keep going.

Devon slowly sauntered over to where the Crystal balls were placed, the green one practically calling to her. She rolled her eyes at the colour and bent down to be eye level with it. "And if I broke mine? What would happen then?" She asked finger tracing over the glass grently.

"If broken, then, Devon...you could die. We could die. Possibly the whole neighborhood." Mom answered, demonstrating the power inside the crystal balls. "The magic is too powerful to be unleashed by it shattering. If it shattered...it'd be very...very bad."

Abigail stared at her mother. "What do you mean, Dark and spirit are my powers. "Abigail said. She had a dark tone and was scared, but she wouldn't show it.She felt a strange pull on her.a tug in her stomach made her feel sick. The room got darker and colder. Her eye's turning to a black color.

Her parents weren't concerned for Abigail. Not because they didn't care, but because they knew what was happening. Her powers were rising...they were so proud. "Darkness as in the shadows, and spirit as in the energy around us." Mom answered. "Abigail, as well as the rest of you girls, are now experiencing what we "mages" call...magic puberty. Plain and simple. Your powers are rising...and tonight at midnight, you'll be asked to hold your crystal balls to your hearts, and allowing their magic to become your own as the heavenly saints grant you the power of magic." Dad said, those last words seemed to be a common chant.

Devon was not paying attention to the world around her, still caught up in not believing the whole situation. "So that's how I wake up then," Devon smiled, "seems easy enough," she added lifting the crystal ball off it's holding post. It was much heavier than what it seemed just sitting there, and she was a little surprised seeing that if she knew it was a dream she could control these things -guess not certain things. She turned around and smiled. "Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong," she said.

"Devon, please put it down...at least until midnight, it's only another 2 hours until then. I know it's all nuts...just please don't do anything with the ball yet?" Hope asked in that irresistible way were nobody could say no to her. She was the youngest...and perhaps the most influential. A gift and a curse, especially for one so innocent.

Devon faltered for a minute, this was the little girl that looked up to her older sisters, and she put it down. "How do you know any of this is true? It could all be some fucked up trick," she said turning from her family and walking towards her mom and dad, "so don't expect me to join in on any magic, because frankly this is all bullshit," she said. "I'm going up to my room, and I hope to god that it's the same unlike the rest of this nut job of a house. Because I'd really like to sleep in my own bed," Devon had enough for tonight. She stormed passed her parents and trotted down the stairs thanking the lords tha she had the only bedroom in the basement. Devon walked into her room and happily saw all her thigs untouched and unmoved. All the band posters, all the twinkling lights and vinyl's hung up on her walls were still there. And her bed sat in the corner of the room as always with a canope draped over to give the effect that her bed was in a smaller room within her own. Devon curled herself up under her bed glancing at the wall that the canope didn't cover and saw the small college of pictures with Jace in them and it reminded her of why she left in the first place. Jace... And before she knew it, there were tears slippin down her cheeks as she thought of every good moment with him; and now it was all ruined.

The magic sphere glowed with a warm light. Leslie lay her palm flat on hers for a moment. It felt like leaning against a sun baked window. She found it hard not to smile. "My magic feels nice. It's warm." She said. Leslie turned to watch Devon escape up the stairs. The brief quips she overhead from her sisters argument with their parents made her frown. "What's wrong with her? This is amazing." Leslie made no move to follow her sister. After a moment she realized she just wanted to stay with her sphere. What a great sister she was. Leslie bit her lip.

Leslie looked toward her other sisters. "Should we go talk to her?" She asked. It occurred to Leslie that Devon and Jace broke up earlier. "Oh my gosh. What's wrong with me?" Leslie distanced herself from the representation of her magic and went toward the stairs.

"Dev" Leslie muttered outside her door. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked and then slid the door open without waiting for an answer.

Devon ignored her sister on the other side of the door thinking that if she didn't answer that Leslie would take the hint to leave. However she could always count on them to be persistent and enter her boundaries without permission. "Get out of my room, Leslie," Devon said. She didn't move from where she sat, never tore her eyes off the pictures that reminded her of the pain, all Devon wanted was to be alone and cope with how she was feeling herself. Stupid parents probably didn't feel sympathetic, and her damned sister didn't even care that he ruined her whole relationship with Jace. She knew it was Abigail who told, because Jace had told her that he got that load of dung from Abi! And Hope, sweet young innocent Hope never knew what it was like to be in love and therefore she could never have the slightest clue as to wha she was feeling.

Her whole family was messed up.

Abigail sighed and walked around there "new house." She pulled off a boom from the shelf. Her father told her it was faces of all the Templars including modern day. Abigail flipped through it. She stopped on a photo. "Oh hell no." She grabbed the book and went upstairs. She walked in her sister's room."Devon your pissed I broke you up, but your boyfriend was trying to kill you fact. Its here in this book. He is a Templar."She says and points to the book.

Dad followed Abigail into Devon's room, aware Devon wanted to be alone...but he needed to go. "Actually, that book is called Illusionavi. It means...well, illusion. It's a magic book that loves to play jokes...at the worst times." He explained, chuckling at the book, almost hearing the book itself laugh. Hmm....this could pose for some future fun for the girls.

Now Hope and Mom were alone in the living room, Hope's eyes gazing into her crystal ball, it's blue-ish aura glowing into her eyes, twinkling. She couldn't stop focusing on it...even with her sisters' dilemma. She looked at the other three, each of them belonging to her sisters. She sighed at them..knowing Devon found this all as complete bullshit, and knew Leslie and Abigail felt optimistic about it...but must have been confused. Hope's young, but mature, mind was filled with wonder about the magic inside the ball and what exactly it could do. Maybe it'd turn her into a real-life Elsa from Frozen!

Abigail shook her head at her father."yeah thats not this book. You told me downstairs look. It is all templars. See here is his father. I actually saw him among the ones who attacked you guys. Trust me dad this isn't a Joke I wouldn't try and personally hurt my sister I dont have a personal vendetta against my sister. "She says

"That book your talking about is this one. Found this one before the Templars it was very interesting told me this was all a dream. Why have a book like this any way?"She says. Showing a book in her hand

Devon sighed, rather loudly, and got up off her bed, "I want all of you out of my room," she said pointing to the door. She didn't care who was what or which book was what. She wanted to cope, alone, just her, no one else. However she couldn't seem to get that luxury in this house anymore. "I want you all to go back upstairs to Mom and Hope who so gladly did not annoy me and leave me alone."

Leslie retreated back a step. It hurt to have Devon lash out at her. She wavered between leaving her alone and insisting they talk. She rounded on her oldest sister. It was still hard to believe Abigail interfered with Devon's love life that way. "What are you talking about? I mean you get so upset if I say anything bad about Clay, but then you go and break up Dev and Jace?" Leslie said.

Abigail went out taking both books with a sigh."look here and Clay is different. We know better you like some kid who could kill us over some guy who is good. Look Leslie believe what you want. But dont blame me ever for trying to protect you both."She snaps she pushed past her sister and went for her room. She locked her door and went to her window. She popped it open and went to sit out on the roof. She was already ticked offm she put in her ear buds to blast out any one trying to talk to her including her father.

Dad stayed in Devon's room, seeing his little girl, the second oldest, (am I correct?) of his beloved daughters in pain. He loved her with all his heart but didn't know how to help...it nearly brought him to tears. He began to speak, but only said: "Sweetheart...please, just...come out later...please." He pleaded, then gently closing her door, leaving her to cope as she wished...though it broke his heart.

Hope glanced out the window of the living room, seeing something strange outside...something big. A cloud...a cloud floating in the middle of the street. She walked over to the window with her mom, Mom then ordered Hope to stand back. "Hope, stay inside...I'll handle this." She said, then walking outside alone and facing the dark cloud as it roared with power. She lifted her hand to cast a spell, but the cloud scooped Mom up, making Hope shriek with fear and horror, her sound impossible to not hear. "Mom!" She shouted

"Hope...stay inside...tell the girls, I--ahhhh!" She said, shouting in horror at her daughter as the cloud then flew to the sky, capturing Mom. Hope screamed again, running outside dropping to her knees in disbelief...the Templar threat was gone...but so was Mom...Hope blamed herself, even though she was powerless, she started to cry...weak-feeling and lost.

Dad heard Hope scream and ran downstairs, but by the time he got there, it was too late...Mom was gone. He ran to Hope outside, holding her and scooping her up in his arms and taking her back inside. He sat her on the couch, where she began to sob...Hope didn't know what to do...she thought of herself now as a useless and weak disappointment. "Girls....get down here....NOW!" Dad shouted wearily, holding back a cry, then sending a wave of magic through the house, poofing the other girls into the living room.

(Oui oui, you are correct)

Devon watched as they all left her room and was thankful that they did. She wanted to call out for her dad, to have him come back but he was probably gone already. The wind picked up in her room, which was odd because her window wasn't open. She let it be though. Well as long as she could before she was zapped to different surroundings for the second time that night. She glanced around easily spotting her dad and not her mom, "I said I'm done with whatever this is tonight," Devon grumbled turning to leave.

"Devon...don't leave." Dad said, genuine concern and sadness in his voice. "P-please...you need to be down here now." He said.

Hope glanced at Devon and sniffled, holding back sobs as she cried, deeply upset.

Devon almost stayed at the sound of her dad's voice. However when she turned and looked again and saw Hope, sweet young Hope crying the way she was, she stayed. "If I fail my test tomorrow I'm blaming you for not letting me go study," she said...not like she was going to pass anyways.

Hope buried her face in her hands, not really crying anymore...more like dry sobs escaping her lips. She became cold...icy cold.

"Dad!" Leslie rushed over to her father and grabbed his arm. The man looked defeated, his face grim. There was nothing of his usually affectionate self present."You have to go after mom. Where is she? I thought we were supposed to be safe here."

Leslie rounded on Devon. Her older sister still had no grasp about what was going on around her. "Frankly I don't care about your stupid grades. Mom's gone. Don't you care at all?"

"It's all my fault....I was right there...and I...I couldn't save her." Hope said quietly, believing herself.

Abigail noticed the change in air. She looked about taking her ear buds out."what in the hell is going on. "She snapped. She was pissed. She wanted to be left alone. But no some shit had to go down. She had one crying sister, one pissed off, and another snapping. Could she never have a moment to be pissed or break down. No she had to take the fall for everything. She carried the burden of being the oldest and taking care of every one else. She turned her frown into a blank look. She walked over to hope and grabbed a blanket. She pulled it around her shoulders. "Alright so what happened. "She says

Irish Ice Queen

Leslie expression collapsed as she heard Abigail's words. Her attention flickered to Hope and back. "The Templars... took mom." Leslie said and her voice shook. "I think Hope thinks it's her fault." Leslie paced across the living room. She raked a hand through her dark hair. "We need our magic now. How our we supposed to protect ourselves if they come back?"

"Some cloud...a cloud came down...it was magic, no doubt...and it sucked up Mom like a vaccum does dirt..." Hope said to Abigail.

Dad's eyes widened at Hope's words...a cloud? He knew what it was, instantly. "If a cloud of mystic proportions did this...it's bad. Something's upsetting the rift between our world and another...your mother is now an unlucky witch caught in this mess." He said, running to the table with the four balls. "Girls...I know it's crazy, and you want answers and it isn't midnight...but the time is now. Please, I'm begging you...band together around the table, holding your crystal balls to your hearts and accept your destiny." Dad pleaded, making Hope stand up immediately. For someone so shy and timid...she was ready. Shocking.

Hope walked over to the table and picked up her ball, holding it close to her heart. "C'mon guys...there isn't time to waist." She said in a small yet leaderly tone, making Dad so proud. In her eyes, it was her fault Mom got taken...she was going to get her back.
