Irish Ice Queen

Devon of course was no where to be found, but that was because she had a crisis of her own to deal with. Trapped outside, yelling and yelling until she stood up and slammed the car door shut. She was going to kill someone, she was so furious. Devon stormed inside and was sure to make her presence known by the big gust of wind that followed her and also by slamming the door shut. The smell of food filled her nose and she knew exactly where everyone was and knew that she would be scolded for the language she was about to use but she didn't care. Devon stomped into the kitchen, red-brimmed eyes meeting Abigail's, "What have I ever done to you to make you do this?" She questioned, "Please tell me; why was Jace out there yelling at me?! Why would he of all people think I'm cheating on him with Gabe?! And anyone with half a brain would fucking know he has a thing for Hope. So why Abby. Who have you the god damned right to tell my boy- Jace that I was cheating?! You ruined the best thing I ever had in my life, so I hope you are fucking happy!" With the last word her fists hit the dinner table rather hard and a large gust of air shattered the kitchen window and left a cool after breeze in the room.

Hope blushed instantly and coughed slightly at the mention of Gabe having a thing for her....sure it wasn't the center of Dev's words, but still. The breeze sent chills throughout the room...yet Hope felt nothing. The glass shattering startled her and her parents. Mom and Dad could sense (oh how literally they could) Dev's anger, and thought it best to let her cool off. The cleaned up the glass. Hope excused herself from the table, uncomfortable that her sister was so furious...likely yo start a fight, and in front of their guest of all people...

Perhaps when Mom and Dad call the girls in to talk to them about the important matter when Clay leaves it'll all blow over...with luck.

Leslie glanced at her mother and father for their reactions. Her fingers curled in front of her mouth. "What makes you think Abigail told him anything?" Leslie probably should have left it alone, but she wanted details. Was this where Devon had been all this time? Someone else criticizing Abi made Leslie instantly protective of her older sister. "Maybe's he's just overreacting or had a bad day or something." Leslie suggested. "Did you guys really break up?" She voice was soft. She actually liked Devon's boyfriend more than Clay.

Abigail looked at her sister as she stormed in yelled at her. She rolled her eye's. She had seen them talking close and she wanted to get rid of Jace." Thats a long list on what you have done to me but this was not about revenge."Abigail says after her. Clay cleared his throat "Darlin.Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Amell, I have to go to work I might be late. "He says. He took his dish to the sink, he did Abigails and nods his head to the door.Abigail excused herself and went to walk him out she opened the door. He grabbed her and pressed his lips on hers. Abigail kissed him back melting into him, he definitely kept her emotions in check. He winked at her."Behave darlin, text you tonight, love you."He kissed her ring hand and walked to his car.Abigail sighed and heart fluttered She she played with her ring for a bit and smiles. " love you too. "She says and walks back in. Her mood changed getting darker her skin grew cold her two older younger sister's were killing her.

The arguing between her sisters made Hope's anxiety act up, sending her in a panic. She loved her sisters, but hated when they fought...and it was often. She plopped on the couch, squeezing her ears to block out the sound, a weird tingling sensation overcame her as an icy chill filled the room. Small tears slipped down her cheeks and her eyes shut tight. Dad noticed Hope, realizing how bad she could get due to anxiety...last time, she went to the hospital...would her sisters remember that?

"Enough!" Dad shouted, firm and strong. He wasn't a yeller...but if he yelled, he yelled. He went to comfort Hope as she shook slightly, whimpering.

Abigail sat down on a cushion. She worried about her younger sister. Abigail however felt a dark energy a negative energy. Almost consuming her. She held her head in her hands. She rubbed her temples. Her father yelled and made her jump. What was happening to her. She was feeling off again. She had shivers running up her spine. Abigail took in shallow breaths. She felt like it had become unpleasantly cold around her. Abigail saw her breath and a shadow move. Her color drained and she looked paler then the moon. If Abigails name was being called. She couldn't here them. Her hair covered the side of her face. She seemed as if she couldn't move, frozen staring. Abigail was watching shadows dance around her. Voices started whispering something to her. She wanted to scream stop, but nothing came out.

Devon turned to Leslie as she spoke the question softly to her, "What the hell do you think?" She asked, of course Jace broke up with her! "Two years, two long years down the drain because of you," she said. And just happened to get even more pissed off when she starte sweet talking Clay. "Just perfect!" She shouted, "You just want to show off everything you have now to make me feel better?" Devon scoffed and took off from the kitchen back outside to where she first came before she blew up. As soon as she was outside the wind seemed to pick up, she didn't question it though. Little did she know that as she walked down the road, tears in her eyes the Templar weren't too far behind her...and beside her...and in front of her. Thinking that they had to destroy the threat before it became the problem.

(not going to be home all day so this is my only post for today...sorry guys DX)

Hope felt cold...icy cold. A cold, misty and tingly energy overcame her. Mom and Dad could sense the Templars outside, following Devon. "Leslie, Abigail, stay with Hope, we'll be back." They both said, storming out the door. "Devon!" Mom called out, the Templars now in sight, all around Devon with their weapons ready.

"Unious caleem!" Dad shouted, followed by a strange glow of energy engulfing Devon, teleporting her inside her house, safe with her sisters, the doors now magically locked. Mom and Dad stood outside where the girls could all 4 see them through the window. The stood back to back, surrounded by the strange, evil, and armed men. "Ready?" Dad asked Mom, she nodded.

The wind started to form a cyclone around the parents, the earth started to rumble. "Heavenly saints...grant us the power of magic!" They chanted, followed by the elements sparking around them. The Templars moved in for the attack. Dad raised a hand to the shy, thunder roared and bolts of energy rained down on the Templars, taking them out. Mom lifted her hand, shocking the enemies facing her with lightning. Mom and Dad were wiping the floor with these guys....totally badass. And the girls were safe inside, all of them together..as they should be.

Hope was curled up in a ball while the battle outside had happened. She noticed the sounds outside, then seeing Devon poof inside. She tilted her head, eyes watery. "What's...what's going on out there?" She asked, walking to the window, witnessing the battle, her parents kicking ass and demonstrating the power of magic. "Guys....look at this!"

"What?!" Devon snapped her head around but instead of seeing her mother she saw nothing but the living room with her sisters. What the hell? "What just happened?" She asked, eyes wide looking around the room, "How the hell did I get in here?" She asked everyone before her head turned to the window where Hope was looking out of. "Oh my god..." She breathed standing over Hope looking out the window in disbelief.

Leslie hung back from the window until flashes from the lightening lit the room. Even her dark hair looked bright. She settled in beside Hope and pressed her face to the glass. Shaky fingers clutched at the windowsill. Leslie's blood hymned in her veins, pulsing. She took a deep breath. "Are those people trying to kill mom and dad or are mom and dad trying to kill those people?" Leslie asked. Her voice sounded far more casual than she felt.

Leslie glanced at Devon. Her sister's reappearance made her less anxious. It seemed impossible though. Devon had teleported somehow. "Were those men trying to... get you?" She asked. Leslie didn't even want to use a synonym of the word kill. She bit her lip.

Devon glanced over at Leslie unsure of how the answer, because the way that they surrounded her where we stood before being teleported made it seem that they were trying to get to her. But she couldn't tell. "I don't know," she finally answered her eyes falling back onto the fight, her eyes glued to the action wondering what secrets their parents were keeping from them.

(Secrets out I guess xDD @Gilmoregirl12 @Hi Im Red @Cross_Rhodes )

Mom and Dad blasted the enemies and controlled the "battlefield" with their power, gracefully taking out the enemies. The girls were safe inside...watching as their parents used the 8 elements of magic and more to vanquish their foe.

Leslie sent Hope a unsteady look and then sprinted into the living room. The traction of her tennis shoes made up for her jerky tumble. She rushed up the stairs and into her room. A quick glance over her tidy bookcase and Leslie found what she was looking for. She tucked it under her shoulder and rushed to join back with her sisters, almost slipping face forward down the stairs. "Guys look at this. Do you remember this?"

Leslie plopped the photo album on the windowsill. She glanced warily at her parents past the curtains. It looked like they ran off the people who tried to take Devon. Or vaporized them possibly. She didn't want to know. Leslie flipped through the pages of plastic covering, glancing over for the photograph she wanted. "At the beach." Leslie thumped her index finger on a picture of their father.

"Remember there was a lightning storm? A bolt of electricity came close to camp that time. And then one almost hit dad but he said not to worry about it? I think he used magic." Leslie glanced at her sisters. She crunched on her bottom lip. "What if they've had magic this entire time?"

"Is that what it is? Magic?" Hope asked in disbelief, putting Leslie's words into perspective. Mom and Dad outside had vanquished the Templars, thus saving their daughters. But more were coming...they dad to act fast.

"Wait...do you guys think...maybe we have it to? Lately weird things have been going on...like when I sneezed and my hair floated...and when Devon stormed in and the wind picked to match her anger and Abby...are we..." She began, interrupted by Mom and Dad baring in through the front door. "Girls, no time to explain, just hold on tight and remain calm." Mom said. "Whatever may happen to us...we love you." Mom said, a tear falling down her cheek, leaving a moment for the girls' responses. But Dad snapped his fingers and summoned four broomsticks. How cliche. The broomsticks each swooped the girls up and flew with them out the door, taking them all high into the sky, circling the neighborhood with minds of their own, waiting for mom and dad to call them back.

Hope held on tight to her broom, her and her sisters soaring through he night sky.

(no one try to stop the brooms...just go with it and put a reaction to Mom in your posts it you want xD @Gilmoregirl12 @Cross_Rhodes )

As soon as their parents were back in the house, Devon was all over the questions, "Mom, what the hell?" Was the first and only question he was able to get out before she was swept off her feet. Literally. The scream could be heard from a mile away as she gripped the broom under her tightly not wanting to look or fall down.

(Sorry it's short :( ))

( sorry been working my ass off. )

Abigail had been silent the whole time. She watched and her face was in shock she still heard voices and felt cold. She shook it off. When the door opened and the brooms zoomed in. She looked at her sister's and hoped on the brooms and flew away with her sister's. The brooms flew around in the air. Abigail stayed quite, and just watched. She listened to her parents, Abigail was confused and very mad. She wanted to ask her parents a million questions, but would have to wait till they landed again.

Irish Ice Queen

Leslie clutched the broomstick. It swept her along before she could question her parents. If the people after them were gone, why was Mom sending them away? The night air made her shiver involuntarily. Leslie held tighter to the boom the higher it climbed. The bird's eye view of the neighborhood was beautiful and slightly dizzying. Leslie wondered how Lake would react if he knew. Her parents had powers. Maybe that meant she could have them too. "I always knew we weren't normal." Leslie said, the breeze lashing dark strains of hair in her face.

After the girls were away, Templars surrounded the house, forcing Mom and Dad do defend it and fight back. The began a great battle, using their magic to fend off the surrounding forces. Hope began thinking about everything...how her grades suddenly didn't matter...weekend plans with Charlies didn't matter...her crushes on her sisters' friends Gabe and Lake didn't matter...all that mattered to her at that moment was the safety of her family. Oddly enough, the cold air didn't bother her...cold came naturally to her.

Mom and Dad fought a brave fight, blasting away the enemy, taking a few blows and cuts in the process. When the battle ended, the house looked a mess, Mom and Dad both hurt...but still alive and proud, the house was safe now, they summoned the brooms back home. The broomsticks then brought the girls home and set them down on the porch. Hope was the first to run inside, seeing the house a wreck, her parents slightly injured but alright. She ran to them and hugged them both. "What happened? What's going on?" She asked. "We'll answer in a minute sweetie, just now we have to ensure safety." Dad said.

Abigail got off the broom and looked around. She had been quite the whole time. She didn't freak out not once. Even inside she was calm.Abigail being the oldest had nothing to do with it.She just knew something was always off about her family. She was confused yeah, but her parents would explain everything hopefully very soon.

Abigail looked around there destroyed house and sighed. She watched her overly emotional sister run to there parents. Abigail was still uncertain of what was going on and why she was hearing voices. Her cool demeanor finally cracked when she felt the world spin. She grabbed for the wall and sunk down to her knees holding her head." Ahhh go away. "She muttered. Abigail had her eye's closed and hadn't realized she let out a shriek.

Irish Ice Queen

"Ensure safety?!" Devon all but screamed, "I'm sorry but you want to ensure safety when some random men tried to kill me, and then you send us off on some terrible Harry Potter quidditch match! I don't want to wait for answers, dad, I want to know what the hell is going on!" She said now focusing her attention onto him. There was a point where they were very close at one point until he got in trouble for drugs in grade seven. Ever since then they were never the same with one another but she still hoped that he would see her as her scared little girl, wanting answers as to why men were after her and why all the sudden these magical things starte happening and why if they knew about this why they wouldn't say anything sooner.

Mom and Dad looked at each other, nodding. "It's time....they're ready." Dad said to Mom. Mom stood slowly. "Girls...you want answers, you'll get them...but first, see your real home." She said, snapping her fingers and transforming the whole house into the inside of something that looked like a mix of a Lord Of The Rings house and a Harry Potter classroom. The house, that was normal, now became a fantasy-like wonderland...still retaining the cozy aspect of home.

Hope's eyes widened at this...it was like a dream; A weird, awesome, and mystical dream. "What..is this?" She asked.

Mom and Dad stood, magically closing the doors and locking them. "This...is our home. All of the furniture, all of the decorations, and all of the little things...all magically disguised in their "normal mode", and now you see them for what they are...mystical and magic objects...and pretty furniture." Mom said. "Those men were Templars, and girls....they want people like us, witches...or wizard in my case, dead." Dad explained quickly, to the point.

Hope's eyes widened again, colelcting all of that...it was sudden, but fascinating. Her eyes fell to four crystal balls, each one secretly containing the magical powers of each sister. And each ball contained two elements (hint the chosen elements in the CS's)...the blue-ish white one "called out" to Hope. The black/violet one, to Abigail. The green-ish one called to Devon, and the red/yellow one called to Leslie. It was subtle...but powerful. Hope then looked all around the room as her parents went to check if it was safe, which it was, they'd get to the crystal balls in a minute.

Abigail finally got the voices to calm down. She stood confused. She saw her parents change the house and she almost jumped. She looked around and gave a small smile."what in the fucking hell?"She said with out thinking. She watched and her eye's were drawn to the ball. It called her name.

Abigail walked over to it slowly. Her hand reached out for it. She wanted to touch it.Abigail was curious and not scared at all.Abby stopped before the ball and looked down at it."what are these?" She asked

Irish Ice Queen

"These are very powerful crystals, each of which tailored...well....to the four of you. You see, girls...our family, the Amells, and your mother's side, the Jax's, all come from long lines of witches and wizards. These crystal balls are yours. Abby, yours is drawn from the magic of spirit and darkness. Hope, yours of ice and water. Devon, yours of earth and air. And Leslie, yours of fire and light." Dad explained.

Mom then spoke up. "You are each destined to become powerful and true witches...but the powers come with a cost...a life of being hunted by the Templars...its a burden we all carry. We've managed to keep them away from you four for years...but it seems now they've caught up to us." Mom said, somewhat explaining why she and Dad could be like "wardens" or something....they're just protecting their daughters from evil. "You are destined for greatness...all of you."

Hope stared at the crystal balls in disbelief, jaw almost dropping. "It's like something out of a a story book..." She said.
