Swimming through the waters of the sea, Naida planned her next victim. She was starting to get hungry again, and though she didn't need to eat humans, she preferred them - like most sirens. Sometimes she had to travel far, since the islands near her home were very superstitious about the mermaids in the waters, many of the people on the islands believing in them and afraid of them. They were the ones who really knew how dangerous sirens could be, while back on mainlands many people coveted the beautiful mermaid they had never seen. Because she lived in the sea though, there were always men to be found, typically going after sailors who were vulnerable, unable to escape to land if caught by the siren's song. Her name very befitting to her, meaning 'water nymph', Naida propped herself up on a rock near to an island shore. As she began her tantalizing, melodic song, she waited in hopes of someone to fall victim to her voice. She didn't know that the islanders were starting to plot against the sirens, finding assassins to go out and either kill them, or capture them.

Sebastian was looking around the dock, hoping to find the infamous siren. He then heard her song and fell in a trance. He was following the hypnotizing (figuratively and literally) song. He got took control of himself right in front of the gorgeous mermaid. He grabbed the hilt of his sword and looked at her.
