Roleplay Type(s)
Hello there! I'm back from the strangle of life and just turning over the page to roleplaying again.

Call me Rel, It's a pleasure to meet you.

Currently in GMT +8

Please be at least 18 years of age. I am 24, there will be mature contents being discussed such as gore and battle scenes, fantasy world skirmishes, equivalent of real world issues within the roleplay universe.

I have a silly little idea of a merman x human. But- the rules are particularly strict when it comes to it.

Are you looking a soft love story in the making? I am too.

1. I am a fairytale vibe storyteller at heart. The yearning, the understanding and misunderstandings, the slow burn, the accidental touches and lingering gaze while we make our characters getting to know each other is a MUST. Who fell first, and who fell harder upon seeing the other standing by the window- moonlight casting a glow around their figure.

2. Rescue scenes, in the nick of times, the desperation, THEY HAVE ONLY ONE ROOM AND THERE'S TWO OF US???? I adore them all.

3. Loyalty, me dropping a book or a fic has never been faster when a potential third person steps in and lingers while being creepy towards a love interest. Jealousy should not be a driving emotion that runs constantly, jealous is painful, it lingers in the back of your mind and stabs us through the heart, it makes us question ourselves and our devotion, it hurts and it consumes one to madness. We can do scenes where either one of them are being courted/flirted with, however it must be addressed properly. I'd like to clarify that my character would never entertain another person's flirtatious advances even if it kills him. Absolutely. No. Cheating. I'll run away faster than you can blink.

4. I mostly write in multiple paragraphs, sometimes two of three screenshots long on phone. But we can do smaller sections when nothing is particularly happening and they're just talking to each other. I'll write a short roleplay you can respond to if you're interested, we can go back and forth a few times before deciding if we're fit to roleplay together.

5. Images, I put effort in mine so I hope you can do so with yours. I quite like handsome and adorable, properly drawn characters that fit the theme and style of my own character, be it from game arts. I, however do not accept A.I generated art so please dive into the Pinterest browser of yours to find a proper picture- like the rest of us.

6. Talk. I love talking about future plots and mini ideas, combining our ideas so we can figure out which scene to do next in our reply. It prevents the flow from becoming stale, and simping over our character's blooming love life has a healing effect for the soul. At least mine. If you don't wish to discuss future plots of even a 'he should trip while following your character so your character can either watch him fall or catch him in my reply' then I'm sorry, we're just not meant to be. I adore little things like those. As such, if you have discord/messenger/whatsapp/twitter let me know which platform you're more comfortable talking in. Don't get me wrong, we can DM here too but it's a little too fickle, I prefer having a quick way to squeal and swoon about our ideas and characters.

7. No modern tech- PHONES, LAPTOP FIGHTER JETS, CARS, MOTORCYCLES, SNIPER RIFLES stuff like that, this is a fantasy fairytale (not the anime) zone.

8. The world! Its very much alive, play around with it, write what your character might see, or hear. How the sun filters through the windows, the leaves, the taste in the air when he walks past a bakery shop, or the salty sea breeze upon arriving at the beach, butterflies dancing and people playing pretend at the corner of the streets, how he's being swayed by a stall owner to buy some goods, or maybe he, himself was on the way to buy food or groceries, does he have enough money? How long has he left home and how many mission did he manage to actually finish, what of his living conditions, where does he live in the city? Struggling children pickpocketing, someone getting kicked out of a bar because they kept making trouble. How the weather is that day, should we make it rain? Them standing next to each other under a shade as they wait for it to stop by pure coincidence.

The idea!
There is a myth that eating the heart of a mermaid would grant you eternal life. Some Humans are savage creatures, they hunt and kill merfolks to near extinction in the past for their scales and their blood- their hearts. This happened a long time ago and now seeing a merfolk is only once and a blue moon as what remained of them begun to lose their merfolk appearance, their tail became legs and as time went by, they lose the ability to breathe underwater, to transform and to control water, becoming nothing more than a normal human for the sake of staying alive.

We can do different takes, but my main idea is a new adventurer (your character) had taken a bit more than he can chew in terms of dungeon difficulty, the paperwork was jumbled up and the guild accidentally sends him to a high ranking mission instead of a low ranking one, things went downhill from there for him (and his party)

Here comes the cliche rescue scene and 'stay quiet if you want to follow me and get out of here alive.' yay! Even after they finished the mission, a series of coincidences kept bringing them together and they start to get to know each other. The battle hardened bounty hunter who seems cold and uncaring, but he also is the one who start a fire for everyone and come back with his hunts to feed them. Is he really as heartless as he's trying to be?

BLEEDING IN THE PALM OF YOUR HANDS_20241130_184434_0000.png

There shouldn't be anyone here other than him. That was what he thought at first, a dungeon this dangerous should be a closed contract, did the guild he took the commission from tried to dupe him? Steel colored irises stares down at the muddy footprints in front of him, expression impassive. The tunnel itself is quite spacious but far too clean and round for 'natural forming tunnel' his first guess had possibly be a giant earthworm or something similar, but there is a lack of slime and mucus covering the inner walls.

In his right hand he held a small, floating cube that emits blue light from its core. He, himself is dressed akin to a mage, dark, earthy toned robes draped over his shoulders, the long fabric's hem brushing slightly along the uneven ground as he walks forward in the dark tunnel. His right hand resting on the handle of the sword hanging by his hip. Regardless of if there were other people here, he has a mission to finish. It would certainly be quite the annoyance if they got to the monster first, or perhaps not. He could ask compensation from the guild later if they did.

It was endless, often he'd stumble into dead ends and it seems the party that is in this dungeon has their own share of bad luck- if the fresh droplets of blood on the ground is anything to go by.

Soren tilts his head up and there it is- impaled on the ceiling by a sharp, pulsating large stinger through the chest is certainly a human, their face contorted in pain and remained that way even in death. With a flick of his wrist, the light source that is the blue cube hovering above his palm brightens just enough for him to properly take a look around, spotting a rather large iridescent flake nearby. Some part of a bug's wing...?

The cube dimmed once he closes his palm. Now let's re-think this situation. Tunnels that most of them lead to nowhere, constant tremble of the earth in what seem to be a regular intervals, not enough to be an earthquake but it's akin to a cat's purr instead.

"A new hive." He concluded, those tunnels were unfinished that's why it's seemingly just dead ends.

He tilted his gaze up at the fresh corpse above him, the red liquid a contrast among earthy tone. If he's not mistaken by the footprints there's supposed to be four people party. Judging by the leather and secondhand equipment on this person... A newbie... with an iron plate badge. How on earth did this one get approved to be in this level? They need to be at least Ruby!

Soren clicked his tongue. Turning away from the bloody scene. How troublesome, now he has to look for the rest of them, be it their corpses or their undoubtedly trembling form.

P/S: I was too excited to write this so it may come off as jumbled mess 😭✋ I'm not scary I promise
