Lunar Phases (1x1)

Major Cinnamon Bun

Assistant to the Assistant Regional Manager
(I have closed the sign-up because I have a partner, however, if anyone wants to do a 1x1 similar to this just PM me.)

While on a camping trip with his friends, a guy was bitten by a wolf. His friends took him to the hospital, figuring the wolf had rabies or something. But after getting all cleaned up and tested, the doctor couldn't find anything out of the ordinary other than the bite itself. So he went on his way.

After about a month, around the time of the full moon, strange things started happening. He would look into the mirror and his eyes would look different, more animal like, and then be gone when he looked again. He seemed to be developing faster reflexes, a better sense of smell, along with other things. On the night of the full moon he had a strange dream, which turned out not to be a dream at all.

It happens that the camping trip had been planed the week of the full moon. And the wolf that bit him was a werewolf. Also, that guy happens to be you, and now your a werewolf. So I'm going to help you out here.

-----------------------------------------------------

So this is meant to be a werewolf RP, and I'm still looking form someone to RP with. Something's are adjustable, like whoever what to join, you character doesn't nessisarily have to be a guy. That's just how I wrote the intro.

It I get more than one response, I'm willing to do multiple RPs with people.

Just put a message in ooc telling me if your interested.

(I'm just going to give you a little set up, so that the story starts in the right place)

In a small town in northern California, a girl with light blonde hair walked through the local park. There were a few in town, but this was the biggest one, with tall oak trees. One of which, she was leaning on right now, her blue and white baseball cap pulled low over her face. To the outside world she looked like she was uninterested, looking around at nothing in particular. But she was looking at someone, watching actually, a girl with brown hair. She had some things to do and it all started with her. Technically she shouldn't be here, her pack had forbidden her to engage this new wolf. But she couldn't not help her. With what she had seen on the full moon, this girl needed help, she she was going to be the one to give it. Not to mention it would really piss her father off, so she was... killing two birds with one stone, as some would say.

Hayden slowly walked down the sidewalk, heading to her favorite music shop, if you could even call it walking. It was more like hobbling. Her entire body, especially her back, ached after what she had gone through on the night of the full moon. Her bones crushed and contorted several times until she found herself in the form of a wolf. She shuddered at the memory and shook the images from her head. She couldn't even think about it without having issues. Moving a hand around to her back, she stopped and stretched, hearing it crack a few times. She didn't know what the hell that was all about, but she did know that she wanted answers, even though she had no idea who she could tell that would believe her, and if they did, them that wouldn't freak out and try to kill her. She let out a small sigh and ran her fingers through her hair, unaware that she was being watched, and made her way inside, despite her pain.

Sam saw the store the brown haired girl went into and followed at a safe distance. She would confront her inside, somehow, she hadn't decided that yet. She figured she could wing it when the time came. Sam entered the store and smiled, it was a pretty cool place. She hadn't made it a priority to spend very much time in town, she lived in the woods outside of town in a big house with her family and some pack members. The others lived in small cabins close to the house. But this was a place she would have to come back to.

After the brief momentary distraction, Sam set about on her task again. Fist things first would be to find the girl. It wasn't that big of a store, so it shouldn't be hard.

Hayden soon found the rock music section and smiled. She looked through the many choices and realized that she had a lot of the disks already. She picked out several that she hadn't had the chance to get and counted them once she finished. 23. Damn I need a life. The thought crossed her mind and she chuckled to herself, causing a severe pain to shoot through her body. She froze, trying to to drop on the floor and let out several deep breaths, groaning softly in pain as she slowly began to relax. She sighed quietly and continued looking through the music.

Sam wandered around for a little while, but soon found herself looking through the Vinyl albums, of course, she was only half looking. It took a few minutes, but she spotted the brown haired girl, she was in the rock music section. Sam walked over nonchalantly, looking through the CDs. "So, crazy moon a few night ago, right? A full moon actually." Sam said, still searching through CDs, not looking up at the girl. She was just trying to seem like she was making conversation, and subtly drop hits. If worse comes to worse, she could just straight up tell this girl that she was a werewolf. But that wasn't any fun.

Hayden immediately tensed up as she looked at the back of a cd case when she heard the mention of the full moon. She decided to ack at calm and as normal as possible, despite what had truly happened. "Yea I suppose you could say that," she said to the female that had walked up beside her. She smiled politely, even though the girl wasn't looking at her, and put the dusk back on the shelf before moving down a bit. She continued looking through the disks, occasionally glancing at the female, unsure if she should tell her. No.

Sam glanced up quickly and then back at the CDs. "Also some wolf activity too. More than usual, at least that what I heard." She said. Just then Sam found the CD she was looking for, or one of them anyway. She didn't actually care about the album, but the cover of it. It was a wolf, "Cool cover right?" She said, showing the cover to the brown haired girl. If this didn't tip her off she had no idea what would.

Hayden silently glanced over at the cover and grabbed it from her. "I don't have this one," she said with a small smile before hobbling over to the counter. The cashier rang her up and she paid quickly. Taking the bags, she walked back over to the blonde haired girl. "I'd prefer to go somewhere private," she said in a serious tone. She could tell that this girl knew something and she was going to find out what exactly that was.

Sam was relieved that she did get the hits and gave a half smile. "Sure, I think I know a place that could work." She said, and started to walk out of the store, assuming the girl would follow. She made her way to the far end of the park, the part that backed up too the woods. The trees were a little heavier back there, and it was a place that Sam frequented when she went to town. After entering the area and making sure no one was around, Sam leaned against a tree and crossed her arms. "So, what do you want?" Sam asked.

Hayden silently followed the girl at a safe distance as she walked out if the store. They went to the far end of the park and once they arrived, the girl turned around. Hayden sighed internally at her question and looked at her. "To figure out exactly what the hell happened to me a few nights ago," she answered bluntly. She gritted her teeth as she moved around slightly before becoming still, her face showing no emotion but seriousness.

Sam looked at her and saw how serious she was. "Hay, lighten up. It wasn't the end of the world, and your not dying." She said. "If anything, your better off now then you were before." Sam looked down at her nails and then back up at the brown haired girl. "To answer your earlier question, well, statement- you turned into a wolf and ran around in the woods the whole night. Probably killed a few small animals. You know, wolfy stuff."

Hayden looked at the blonde skeptically. She shook her head and let out a small laugh. "A wolf? So what I'm the oh so mythical werewolf now?" she asked sarcastically as she crossed her arms over her chest. She rolled her eyes, a small part of her realizing it was true, and dropped her smile, going back to her previous serious look. She watched the blonde girl'a every move, trying to pick up on any signs. It would explain her heightened hearing and sight, but it still seemed illogical to even think about, let alone be actually true.

" uh, yeah, that'd be about right. I'm being 100% serious here." Sam said. "There's actually a lot of us, we're all over the place. Of course everyone believes that were a myth, so we try and keep it that way. So, you were just bitten, and it's really going to suck to be you for a while. But your lucky, because I'm going to help you out. Unless, of course, you don't want my help."

"My back is still killing me and my bones are still contorting back to normal. I think I could use the help," Hayden admitted quietly. She wasn't normally one to accept a stranger's help, but she could already tell that she would need it no matter what. She leaned against a nearby tree and ran her fingers through her hair, brushing it out of her face as she sighed softly, looking at the girl. "I'm Hayden," she said softly, just loud enough for her to hear.

"Great. I'm Sam." She said and smiled. "Are there any other questions that you wold like to ask me? And before you ask, the answer is no, your will probably never be able to control it, not very many people can. Anything other than that question, I will answer." She was pretty relieved that she accepted her help. If she hadn't, he whole plan would have ended right here.

Hayden had opened her mouth to ask a question, but found it answered by Sam before the words could leave her. "I guess I don't have any then," she said with a smile. She straightened herself up and brushed her arm off as she looked at her. She let out a small sigh and looked around, noticing how empty the park was. Ignoring it, she looked back and uncrossed her arms.

"So... What next? Cuz I've got nothing." Sam said. "Honestly, I've only planned this far. And I figure you don't want me to teach you anything right now." She looked around and shifted from side to side idly.

"Well I'm not doing anything important," Hayden said with a wide smile. She shrugged slightly and yawned before looking around. She switched her gaze over to the girl, noticing how soft her hair looked. Stop... She shook the bought from her head quickly and laughed hesitantly, trying to act as if the thought never happened, though she couldn't get rid of the fact that it had.

"I have a great idea, let's go to a party. There's definitely going to be one in the woods, there always is, so we should go check it out." Sam said. This was something she did all the time. Her parents never knew and everyone at the party was too wasted to even notice that she wasn't technically invited. And it was always entertaining.

Hayden stayed silent for several moments as she stared at Sam. She enjoyed parties but she wasn't really sure now was a good time considering what she had just found out. Against her better judgement, she smiled widely and nodded her head. "That sounds good to me," she said happily yet nervously.
