Killer Clown
Supernatural creatures are few and far between, migrating from other countries and setting up their families here, unfortunately, there is a horrible stigma surrounding them and most of them hide away for fear of discrimination. There is a girl whose family is human, but as a child she was turned into a shapeshifter and her parents, ashamed of what she’d become, keep it a secret from the rest of her family. She is sent to an all-girls boarding school by her wealthy grandmother she’s never met and who doesn’t know what she is. While there, she meets a girl a year below who is a selkie.
They try to hide it from each other for as long as possible, trying to fit into the school without letting everyone know what they are, but eventually, they find out about each other. They form a bond and help each other hide what they are from everyone else who has been raised to hate their kind, but there are other vampires, werewolves, witches and the like at that school and they've joined together to get revenge on their families for sending them there. At first, the girls agree with the plan and join the group, thinking they're right and their families deserve a little punishment for it. As they get deeper and deeper, they realize the group doesn't want to merely punish the families, they want to turn them all into creatures so they understand how hard it is to survive in a world where they're hated for what they are.
The older girl doesn't want more people to suffer the way she does, so she tries to pull the younger girl out only to be met with resistance. They fight about it and the younger girl almost ends up turning her own family, when she hears their pleas and cries and can't go through with it. The group doesn't let go of her though and the older girl has to fight tooth and nail to get the girl she loves out and keep the other families safe.
