| II. Introduction |
Congratulations! We have interviewed and met with hundreds of hot, fun singles to begin this new journey on Love Island, and out of all those contestants, you have made the final round! You and seven others will be joined together on this fabulous island, taking residence in the beautiful manor that sits on it, and hopefully(if you're lucky), you'll find your soulmate. But, hey! Even if you don't, you'll have memories to last a lifetime, and friendships to carry with you even after your departure. So let's get started, and again, welcome and congratulations!
| III. Plot |
Your character, as well as seven other characters, will be taking residence in a secluded mansion on an island in hopes of finding their soulmates. While they're there, they have the option to build friendships, relationships, love triangles, love squares if it so pleases them, but they also have the option to avoid characters who clash with their personalities, and especially those who have shown interest in your character's intended partner. There will be plenty of drama, romance, backstabbing, hidden feelings, all of it. Their main goal is simply to find love. But do it quickly, as singles aren't tolerated for long!
| IV. Love Island Rules |
❤ At the beginning, all contestants will have to choose someone to partner up with. The gender of said partner does not matter.
❤ Every week, there will be a recoupling. You can pick the same partner each time, a different one different times, and you are always allowed to choose a partner again, as well as choosing someone else's partner, even if they're currently coupled up.
❤ You are not required to sleep in the same bed as your designated partner, but until you are recoupled, you are not allowed to sleep with anyone else. There are plenty of other beds/surfaces in the villa to sleep alone.
❤ Singles are not allowed on Love Island. If you are not chosen at a recoupling and are still single by the next one, you will be kicked off the island.
❤ If you find yourself not romantically interested in anyone, you are permitted to pick a partner for a platonic recoupling, meaning neither of you can be kicked off the island for being single.
❤ Randomly, selected couples can be sent out on a date wherein it is only the two of them instead of being in the manor with other contestants.
❤ I will add to these if I feel necessary.

| VI. Out-of-Character Rules |
❤ Replies must be at least one paragraph. I prefer multiparas, but I know with group roleplays that that's rough sometimes, but absolutely NO one-liners.
❤ No perfect characters. No characters with the 'I don't want love' personalities. They are all here to do exactly that.
❤ If your character is single and voted off of the island, you have the option to create a new character who is a runner-up of sorts to be contestant.
❤ No God-Modding
❤ If you lost interest, that is absolutely understandable and okay. Please just message me so I can write your character off of the island.
❤ Please do not comment your interest under the post-- message me the password and I will approve you, then you can post a character sheet.
❤ Absolutely NO smut.
❤ Proper grammar, punctuation, etc., is required.
❤ You must use a faceclaim, and said faceclaim must be realistic, and not a celebrity.
❤ While drama is encouraged in the roleplay, any OOC drama is not tolerated.
❤ I will add to this if I feel necessary.
