Clouds

It all started on the evening of a summer day. The breeze of the night sky would softly caress my face as if it was trying to having a soothing effect on me. Some strands of hair would slightly soar upon it, making it have a nice effect to it. It was still not that late maybe it was around nine o’clock and people were still walking around the town freely, enjoying their time just like I was doing. Amusing music was playing at the centre where little stables were placed around the musicians so the civilians could enjoy something to drink and to eat. However, it was time for me to go back home since I had to get up early in the morning. I decided to take a shortcut, but little did I know that that was the worst choice that I could have made that day. A chilly atmosphere seemed to form the deeper I walked through the alleyway however I could not turn back anymore since I was almost home. The pace I was walking at became faster as my mind started spinning with awful thoughts that lingered inside of my head. Some were worse than others. After a while, I could hear footsteps behind me, which made my eyes grow bigger, hiding behind a dumpster hoping that I would not get spotted by the one who seemed to be following me, but the footsteps stopped coming towards her, actually they were nowhere to be heard anymore. However as a voice came from behind me, low and deep, I wanted to scream but something stopped me for doing as I pleased. My vision blacked out and I seemed to be falling into a deep sleep.
