Lost in a Labyrinth...

Esme, sat holding her little sisters body. She was going to do the biggest crime, and person could imagine. She was controlling life, and death. The wind blew through her hair, and her body shivered. All she wanted for her sister to have had a life. She just wanted to see her smile, and to hear her little laugh again. She decided doing this was the best thing, she didnt care what punishments she would have to face. She could face anything ahead of her. With that thought in her head she shouted the spell. Gripping tightly her sisters body, a bright lite came out of no where blinding everything. After the bright light, then came darkness.

~

Esme's eyes shot open. She couldnt remember anything, she didnt know were she was, or how she got there. She laid on grass, realising that she didnt know where she was she quickly sat up. A sharp pain shot through her head. She touched her forehead, hoping that putting pressure would help. A shiver shot down her spine, as she stood up. She looked around, It was a small area with a wall that looked as if it was never ending. There was a couple of openings, that looked as if they lead to halls. "W-Where am I" The panic arose in her stomach, as she decide to walk through one of the openings. She guessed correctly it was a hallway, but this had more openings. "I-is this a maze?" she asked herself. Her voice was weak, and very quiet. She couldnt just wait there, she needed to get walking. She needed to find her way out, or at least intill she found help. She began walking, confused, and very scared.

Darkness...

Liquid restricting the oxygen to the brain.

The body can only live so long without air before the brain cells start to wither... and die.

"Mom... Dad.... I've failed you."

Failed.

Crack!

BANG!

Light shot across the sky, lighting up the heavens above an outcrop of blue hair.

Thunder rolled in, shaking him awake.

Bloo sputtered and spit, waking with his face submerged in a shallow body of water. He glanced around frantically, crystal-like hues searching the perimeter.

Where was he?

Dripping and cold, he slid from his knees to his feet, trudging from the lake. A shiver rolled down his spine, and a sudden urge to retreat away from the water made him pick up the pace. Thick walls, covered in twisted vines and sodden moss towered fifteen meters above him, casting a shadow over the maze. He grit his teeth, pressing his left hand to the wall and proceeding to turn left.

When you find yourself in a maze... always go left.

"Redd!?" His soft voice cracked as he shouted for his brother, words bouncing off the stone and echoing in the night.

"Shut up!" A voice snapped from above, red eyes peering down at the boy from the top of a dying oak. Red hair followed shortly after, his brother poking his head out from the shadows.

"I can't sleep with your whining." He growled, and slumped back into his previous position.

With his blue brows furrowed, Bloo leaped into the air, round-house kicking the trunk of the decrepit tree. There was a loud crinckling sound, the wood splitting and splintering as it came crashing to the forest floor.

The firey-headed male leaped from his perch, leaves entangled in his mess of scarlet locks. "What crawled up your---"

A pale finger pressed against his lips, silencing the fire spirit.

"We're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy Anne." Bloo mocked and lightly tapped his kin's cheek.

"C'mon. Stick to the left." Bloo ordered, pressing on.

There was another heartbeat.... a third body. One that wasn't far off. The rhythm of its beating was faint, and it crawled across the brother's senses keeping their guards up.

Esme's heart was beating quickly, as the thunder roared. She had been making random turns.

Left, Right, Left, Left, Right.

She just wanted out, she was all alone. She couldnt focus on a plan. She had never been one to make a plan, she just thought of something, and did it. She shivered again because a breeze of cold air passing by her. It blew strands of her hair in her face. She felt tears begin to form in her blue eyes, she thought of what could happen. Death, pain, anything imaginable could happen here. She heard a loud crash, as if a tree had fallen. It was close, to close she could feel the vibration of whatever had fallen. Her heart began beating faster, and faster as the panic increased. She has never fought someone, she only knew simple spells. She had looked up at the wall. 'There had to be some way to get over or around this maze?' she thought to herself. She crossed out getting over the wall very quickly, the walls werent climbable, it would take awhile, and she couldnt even see the end of it. She couldnt go around, because she was already in it. So she had to go through it. If she like it or not. She began walking again, slowly alert of everything. She hoped she would find a way out soon, or even just help would be great.
