House of August Reign
Looking for a 1x1 Partner
-- Must be able to --
Reply in quality.
You must be able to reply in more than one line, and be able to describe the scene or scenario in decent detail. I'm not talking about writing an essay (but you're welcome to anyways) but more along the lines of telling me and others what is happening.
Example: You're sitting in a tree and you fall. I need to know what kind of tree, how high up, and what direction you fell. You could get a couple scratches from just sliding off a low laying branch, you could break your leg, you could get splinters, stabbed, and sticky from a pine, or you could even die from a redwood, though I have no clue how you got up there.
Be semi realistic.
You must be able to keep things in the grasp of reality of the universe we are playing in. This means that only things that could happen realistically in the universe we are in can happen.
Example: Cthulu will not appear out of nowhere when we are in the middle of deep space. A giant shark cannot appear in the middle of a forest to eat a sheep god then hop into the sky when he is finished with his meal. However, if a crocodile leaps out of a lake nearby to eat the sheep god and drags him back to the water, then it is okay.
Be patient.
I will be busy at times with unexpected things in life that come up. I understand and know from experience that it happens to all of us. I ask that you are patient in my replies as I will be patient while waiting for you.
Example: If I am absent for three days, I should not come back online and see 36 thousand messages poking me with "Hey" and escalating up to calling me names and screaming that I'm a horrendous -insert terrible cuss word here-. If you are absent for a large amount of time, I will not poke you with a message or "bump" unless it has been a month. By then I assume you had gotten so riled up in life that you forgot to reply to all your partners.
Stick to your character.
This is the classic 4th wall break and control over other characters rule. I will never take over your character, nor will I let them in on knowledge that only you and I know as the writers/players. However, I will intervene if the story calls for it.
Example: Your character, Larry, was knocked unconscious after slipping on a banana peel. My character, Gary, would only then be able to force your character into doing something, because they are unable to do it themselves. Gary would then, in this scenario, drag Larry over to a couch and make him comfortable. That's it.
Be mature about many topics.
I am an adult, and as such, I will most likely write about some adult things. This does not include sex, because that is banned from this website. However, it does include dark themes such as death, decay, gore, violence, scary imagery, horror, language, etc. Depending on who is my partner(s), I can keep this to a detailed scene or very minimal.
Example: The hollowed out eyes of those husks sang to her, calling her to the deep, dark, abyss. Jump, they called. Jump, and feel your freedom from this world. That previous snippet can be expanded upon or reduced down to keep comfort levels in the green, but the topic of suicidal jumping endorsed by servants of darkness will still be there.
Respect my personal wishes.
I am not the type of woman who squees at MLP or creepy pasta or whatever you kids nowadays enjoy. I hate the fandoms that go with them, all because of the pompousness that so many feel. I don't care if you like it, but when you start pushing on me and cramming it into my throat, that's when I will lash back. This also counts for those of you who believe there are more sexes than 3. Again, I do not care if you want to be a bookshelf-pony-werewolf-bunny-car who identifies as X and only dates scimitars. I don't care that you have that mindset. What I do care about is if you literarily attack me about not identifying as you do and do not want to rp with you. Please, I will respect your preferences and such, but respect mine as well. Respect is a two way street, not a one way, so act like it.
Example: You want to play as a gender queer who identifies as a "they". I will refuse you because I am not comfortable playing with a character of that type. You say, "Okay, I understand. How about a girl who cross dresses as a boy?" And I will then say yes. DO NOT MESSAGE ME WITH HATE MAIL. That is NOT the point I am trying to make.
-- Info About Plot Types --
I am an open minded person and am up for almost any plot.
I prefer to indulge genres of:
Fantasy
Medieval
Science Fiction
Supernatural
Modern
I will be open to:
Romance
Western
Slice of Life
Fandoms
I will not be open to:
Furry
Certain Fandoms
Sexual/Smut
Fandoms I Will Not Do:
(Ask me about the fandom)
My Little Pony
Five Nights at Freddies
Creepypasta
Youtubers
Supernatural
Steven Universe
Gravity Falls
Stranger Things
Fandoms I Will Do:
(Ask me about the fandom)
Mass Effect
Alien
Dragon Age
Star Wars
Dungeons and Dragons/Forgotten Realms
Legacy of Kain
Marvel
Code Geass
I prefer playing as female, though I will be male if plot calls for it. I prefer to play as one major character with several minor characters that help the story along. I can play multiple characters too, but it will take me longer to reply that way. I do not mind same sex romance, although I am straight myself, so I may not be the best at it. I can use a premade character of mine or make one up on the spot.
Any other questions or concerns, please ask and I will do my best to answer them. If I need to add something, please let me know.
Please reply to this thread or private message me if interested.
I hope the colors don't harass in any way. I used the Dark theme when I wrote this.
***I am deleting replies to this thread when a long span of time has occurred. It is not because I dislike the person, merely just doing cleanup. ***
