Big props to Stillborn for doing the data entry to make Lunar Charms happen.  I've fed 'em into the database.


Sid and Abyssal Charms next, probably.
 
I'm going to get to work on Abyssals in a few days, when I return home to my books. That should give my eyes and brain a few days to recuperate.

   [description] => The illusionary powers of the lunar exalted are not to be underestimated, for their essence can drive opponents to insanity, thinking that they have been slain, despite not being injured at all.


The charm, when activated, creates a shining silvery white aura around the weapon or striking fist or kick or bite that trails silvery flames as it lands.


   [mechanics] => For each attack enhanced by this charm that lands successfully, the rolled damage is not marked down on the target's health levels, but simply becomes die penalty as the target thinks that they've been greviously injured.


When this charm is in use, the attack that lands does not do any damage and only inflicts die-penalties, this die penalty is cummulative and can reduce a die pool down to zero. Should the die pool be reduced to zero, the target's actions automatically fail without the use of charms.


Should the lunar inflict more die-penalty then the target's willpower + essence, the target is knocked out for the scene.


This charm does not work on beings with a higher essence trait then the lunar. Charms that protect an exalt against mind-warping effects (such as Jade Defense that increases the exalt's essence trait for resisting mind control effects) would help protect the target.
