It is the year 1318 A.D. feudal Japan is in a state of constant war between the clans who seek great favor with Shogun Hattori Hanzo with a chance to become part of his inner court. Unfortunately demons have arisen as well to take back the world of man and rule it for themselves. The Shogun is sending troops (Players) to combat these demons so as to protect his people. Among all this other kinds of monster have been spotted killing and attacking people all around the kingdom. Some are easy to spot were others could be something a simple as a stool in disguise. You and those you allie with must do all you can to protect the capital city of Kashihara and its surrounding villages.
All players start in Futaba Village, south of Kashihara, as villagers who choose to go out and see what the world has to hold.
