ANCIENT RECORDS

Chapter 1 | The Dispute
Long before the realm was divided into three, harmony existed between all beings. These beings were called Celestials living in the divine land that settled far beyond the skies. A nest where time is limitless and was in constant state of peace, love, and happiness; it was ruled as one by The Overseer and The Protector. The Overseer served as their father, one who holds authority among their brood, while The Protector served as their mother who was responsible for giving them guidance and love.

They lived in solace that went for eons. However, the creation of mortals put everything into a halt. Conflict arose between the two rulers eventually leading to the fall of their kinship. The quarrel ended with The Protector leaving the divine borders, never to be seen again.

“We have been abandoned! I will be your sole ruler; your only hope. Obey me, and you shall not be perished from this land. Betray me and you will be damned!” These were the words of The Overseer, resonating throughout the realm.
Chapter 2 | The Rebellion
The Overseer made his remark known, but, there was a choice for they are gifted free will. The fate of the Celestials relied on their answers; the first offering them protection and if chosen they shall remain in his borders, but the latter had no certainty. The fate of the damned was unknown, generating fear amongst the brood.

But, Zarim, The first angel, felt wounded. He longed for love but with the absence of The Protector, what is to become of this land? His father’s words were absolute, and those very words tainted his heart. “If we are truly your children, why must one choice lead to suffering?” He had hoped to look for their mother, but he would be condemned if done so.

He believed that love would cease to exist on their once tranquil land for their father only knew of power and authority. He viewed the overseer as a supreme being who only wanted to be obeyed, and so.. he was the first to disobey. Zarim had courage, it was his dominant trait. As his response of rejection was made known, God was furious, banishing the angel completely.

As all beings witnessed God’s power, there they stood in fear, its eyes as vast as the sky and looking down upon them,

“I am the Absolute. Those who wish to defy me shall meet the same fate!”

The Overseer’s words had weight and none could utter a word. The only response they could do was kneel with their head touching the ground. For a time being, the realm remained in order ruled by God the way he knew how.

All hope was not lost for Zarim. The Overseer was not so heartless after all. And therefore, the angel resurfaced on their land given another chance to prove his faith. But the punished child had already been corrupted.. He was ruined.

His defiance against his Father solidified. Zarim teared his own wings, rejecting him for the last time. He left the divine borders of his own accord and gathered his own allies.
Chapter 3 | The Winged and The Exiles
The preparation of war began after expanding their own territory. It was named Avernus by the condemned, and he who sits atop of the throne was Zarim who led an army of contaminated souls. Spreading darkness in every step and tempting the good mortals to do evil; by their defiance against the Overseer, their misdeeds materialized, and so the 7 sins were made.

He cultivated more power along with his fellow exiles, and on the day of the eclipse where the sun and moon aligned, the evil broke past the borders and tested their strength against heaven. This was his final cause and his way of confronting his father. But, the Overseer never answered. He let his strongest followers face the unholy. As the Archangels proved their greatest faith before their ruler, God remained as an observer of the war.

The battle went on for days bringing calamity throughout the realms. Zarim was not strong enough, and at his exhaustion the heavens struck, dealing a powerful blow that pierced through his flesh.

In the brink of his death, alas, the almighty God spoke, “Surrender and all of you will be saved,” However, till Zarim’s last breath he denied his father. As the sun rose, his body was left to deteriorate and finally disappear into ashes. The king of hell was then defeated but his traces of evil lingered and with the inhabitants of Avernus only nearly wiped out, their existence still remained.
Chapter 4 | Birth of the Realms
The destruction of the war had caused great damage among the realms. With the Overseer’s absolute power, he rebuilt his own kingdom and was divided into two: His very domain was called the Divine realm, and the birth of the middle ground was called the Labyrinth.

The middle was created for sinners whose hearts were not fully contaminated; a place of salvation.

As the paradise was restructured, the Overseer made one final creation which is The Ordin. It is a law that consists of ten rules which shows how he should be served and more importantly, for those of brittle faiths to discern good from evil.

TOME OF CELESTIALS

The Highest Orders

Seraphim - These are angels that God keeps close to his throne. The Seraphim are sacred members of the highest celestial rank that act on behalf of God, recognized for their wisdom and maintaining order in the divine borders. Originally, they consisted of 7 members including Zarim, whereas in the present only four remain.

  • Zeke, Cura, Ordin, and Uwila

Numen(Deities) - Numens are the counterparts of the 7 sins that are second most powerful among the hierarchy of celestials. They are beings of divine status that were created due to the influence of mortals in the spiritual realms. These beings are capable of creating an innate empire; a much smaller and weaker domain that they can traverse to at will (it’s basically their private chambers, their own little dreamland lol)

The list of Numens are:

  • God of Humility|God of Charity|God of Chastity|God of Gratitude|God of Temperance|God of Patience|God of Diligence

Middle Orders

Archangels - The warriors of the Divine realm serving as God’s sword and shield, possessing both offense and defensive abilities to aid his faithful ones.

  • Holy Knights

Principality - They are angels that protect/guide the saints. These are the more knowledgeable types of angels who are also responsible for handling the sacred scriptures and ancient records of the realm. The principality has two administrator which is the Author(the composer of scriptures) and the Messenger(the bard of scriptures)

  • The Author and The Messenger

Guardian Angels - The guardians are holy members of the realm created to protect humanity from physical and spiritual danger. They are assigned to care for a particular person or group of people, watching over them the moment they are born.

Lowest Order

Saints - These are the souls of mortals welcomed by the gates of heaven, having granted a pass to enjoy the luxury of everything opposite to hell. Under the protection of the principality, they continue to serve God by participating in hearings of holy scriptures, worshiping, and praising the lord almighty. Saints who have lived heroically virtuous lives are eventually gifted another chance to be reborn in the mortal world.

Young souls - Belonging in the very last hierarchy of power, these souls are pure spirits confined in the holy nursery that is in strict protection of The Bearer. The Bearer, also known as Mother Cura, is responsible for looking after the spirits until they are all set to experience life in the mortal world. These spirits can also be born in the sacred realm if taken in custody by any of the middle and higher angels therefore granting them guardianship over the spirits and then ‘raised’ to be a devout follower of God. Once they have reached their mature state, only then will they have a standing among the ranks and be blessed with wings to aid them in their duties.
