Just cause I read worse don't mean it ain't cursed
All species in Equestria have at least a little bit of magic, though all use it in different ways.
Species:
Note: Alicorns are basically just royal bloodlines; not gods, though Queens are naturally more powerful than normal citizens.

Species:
Unicorns are the backbone of upper Pony society, holding many of the finer, more careful jobs of the world. They have powerful magic and a way to direct it, often compared to water reservoirs in the nature of their magic. Their horns are much like stag horns, as they don't shed and are of a similar make. Their fur is often short and silky.
Unicorns are often very, very territorial of their dominant fields, and it's quite common to for them to drive out those they don't believe fit.
Unicorns are the Mesomorphs of the 3 pony types, often found as "average" in terms of body.

Earth ponies are primarily the working class ponies of the pony world, generally built for hard labor and tough environments. They primarily deal with agriculture, their magic often revolving around plant growth. Said magic is released through their hooves. They often have medium, wooly fur.
Earth ponies are generally very welcoming to ponies, but often quite racist toward non-ponies.

Pegasai are the middle class of the pony world, often looked over despite their abilities. Their magic resides evenly in their bodies, making them very, very light and often times with connections to the weather and sky. They have differing types of feathers intermingled with fur.
Despite being regarded as quite regal, Pegasai are worked in such a way that none of them really care all that much; they're too mentally and emotionally exhausted by the end of the day to really get upset over such things.

Dragons haven't changed much.
They do like death-match coliseums, though.

Bipedal dragons are smaller than their quadrupedal counterparts and often regarded as the "safer" version... this cannot be further from the truth, as bipedal dragons have hotter, airy fire with many magical properties and a thicker build.
Quadrupedal dragons are often much larger than bipedal dragons and use size-changing magics to fit in smaller spaces, though it can be quite draining. Their fire is cooler and sticky, much like kerosene gel. They're physically weaker than bipedal dragons.
Take bird behavior and large cat behavior and smash it together, eliminating 60% of the cute things with horrifying things from either species.
They're larger than ponies, though smaller than hippogryphs and much more physically powerful. They often live in small settlements only occasionally called on by their ruler. Disputes are settled between individuals.

Very black/white mentality; they love binary categories and are often split down the middle of the population. Excellent organizers, but very close-minded. A little larger than a normal pony, but smaller than Yaks and changelings.
Literally nothing has changed here.
Primarily known for their insatiable hunger for love, changelings are one of the most discriminated against of the sentient species, not helped by their often-ghastly natural appearance. They live in hives, often with a single queen who resides over all of the social and most of the military functions.
-If they're starved for love long enough, they grow sickly with darker coloration and a thinner frame.
-They all have mandibles fold into their upper jaw
-Teeth are thick and sharp
-They can't hold their alternate forms when emotionally unstable
Currently, there are three known hives:
-Vespid Hive; ruled by Queen Elytra
-The Scarab Hive, ruled by Queen Compound
-The Cecropia Hive, ruled by Queen Mandible
Each hive has vastly different anatomy, though they can still produce viable offspring.

TBA
-Very mothlike
-Very, very long-legged
-Quite removed from most civilization
-Are known for the occasional predatory instinct because they hunt things to keep them running while they search for love, though, they will die without love
-Dark colors with chromatic accents
-Don't have hooves; finger-like claws
-Basically skin stretched over bones and a small layer of muscle
Queen Mandible is known to be a bit of an absent-minded Queen, often growing distracted with her subjects' love-lives due to how love-starved they all are. She's often described as "Very distracted" and "not fit to rule", though any army that has tried to conquer her territory has quickly learned that their method of dive-bombing their enemies out of the sky, into cliffs, and possibly out to sea is disturbingly effective.
