Hey! Tessellate here. I’m here looking for one or two partners with whom I can bring to life an idea that I’m really craving. Below will be pointers about the way I write and how I like to roleplay in general. If you think our styles mesh then, please, send me a private message so we can start collaborating!
Hey! Tessellate here. I’m here looking for one or two partners with whom I can bring to life an idea that I’m really craving. Below will be pointers about the way I write and how I like to roleplay in general. If you think our styles mesh then, please, send me a private message so we can start collaborating!
- I write exclusively with people over 18. No exceptions.
- I write in 3rd person.
- I tend to write a minimum of 3 paragraphs per reply without a maximum. Certain scenes call for varying degrees of description, you know? That being said, a certain base of description is necessary for the progression of a story, in my opinion, so I do my best to give my partner enough to build off of.
- I tend to use realistic digital images for fantasy plots, but I can also do real faceclaims if that’s a preference for someone (let me know in your message to me what you prefer).
- I aim for at least two replies per week. Any additional posts are extras. ‘Course, depending on the level of hype and motivation I have for the story I may be able to squeeze in more replies. It does happen that my muse becomes lacklustre, at which point I do my best to keep my partner in the loop.
- I can do M/F or F/F. My characters are women. Let me know in your message your preference.
- I do enjoy romance in my roleplays. I'm a sucker for it. I would definitely prefer to include some degree of it. If this is a dealbreaker for you, but you think we could still create a good story, I'd be willing to give it a whirl.
- My character is a princess turned queen after a violent attack on the royal family. By her side is the new advisor, formerly her bodyguard. Now, for this, I thought they could have grown up together, some sort of best friends situation where they’re thrown into important roles and responsibilities neither of them was truly ready for. For this I envisioned my character to be quite stoic; stern and unforgiving in the shoes of the queen, yet vulnerable and uncertain behind closed doors (though hard to coax into vulnerability).
- Alternatively, I really would like to explore the idea of a princess needing to flee her kingdom for an extreme reason (protection, exile, fleeing from an arranged marriage, etc.). Your character could be a number of things: a rogue, a loyal knight, the royal mage, a hardened outsider, etc. For this character I wanted her to be rather sheltered in the beginning, quite oblivious to the struggles most people go through. Well-intentioned at her core yet naive enough to come across as willfully ignorant; someone who, until recently, believed people to be inherently good.
