I am looking for someone who agrees with what I have only just begun to realize about writing. And what is that you ask? Well,
I have only just begun to realize that...
Writing is an odd thing, magnificent, but odd. It takes an overwhelming amount practice and patience, but also a great deal of heart and soul. To have one without the other is like writing with an ink-less pen. You might have the best, most sincere, exciting, dramatic, emotional, sensational dream brewing within your heart, but when writing, for that dream to be conveyed, you must posses a certain level of well practiced skills. Many look past those skills though, they get so caught up in the dream that they never take the time to learn how to properly let it out in a way that does it justice - and so the dream dies. And equally as depressing for me to see, are those who put the dream aside to learn the skills, but then forget to go back to it; they have forgotten what the skill were meant for, they have forgotten the dream - and so the dream dies.
If you have taken the time to read this, and are interested in writing with me, then please send me a message with a sample of your writing. Make it somewhere between 3-8 paragraphs - a paragraph is at least 4 sentences long - and please proof read it. I want to find someone who I can write great stories with, about all sorts of things. If you love writing, with your heart and soul, and have put time into developing your skills, than I would love to write with you; I can be picky about partners, so If I don't reply please don't take it personal.
I like writing stories that take place in modern and realistic settings, futuristic settings, various time periods, and medieval fantasy settings. I am not too keen on supernatural settings, nor fandoms, but that doesn't mean I wont at least hear an idea out.
