Hello, traveler! Gonna try to keep this short (no fancy coding here, as I've no patience - or the will, heh - to scream at div codes.)
Some important things:
- I am under 18. I know this may put off some people, and despite not having that much experience when compared to others (around 3 years, on and off), I will do my best to bring high-quality posts to the RP.
- Grammar. I will do my best to read over my replies before sending, to make sure everything was done to the best of my ability. I don't expect
to be perfect - hell, I've probably made countless mistakes already - but I'd rather RP with someone who knows your/you're, then/than, etc.
- Description. Length. Moving the plot along. Something to work with! I will try my best to provide posts that you can work off of, and I expect the same, please. I can write usually anything between 300 to 500 words, perhaps around the 800s if I'm really into the RP, but the numbers will fall slightly if our characters are interacting with each other - as I would expect them too ^^'. I am, however, a bit rusty, and I'd love to improve my writing! I am happy to read whatever amount you reply with, but I kindly ask for a minimum of 1-2 well-sized paragraphs; I'll be more than happy with that. I won't really stick to that 'rule,' however, as long as I have something to work with. No one-liners, please. I can't stand them, sorry. I also write in 3rd person, past tense.
- OOC. I'd love to be able to chat with my partner and make friends during the course of the rp, especially trading ideas to spice up the world we're attempting to write. After all, we're writing something together, so I expect that we bounce ideas off each other as much as possible.
- LGBTQ+ friendly!!! My characters will have all sorts of sexualities, except perhaps hetero (sorry, I can't really play MxF). I am not too comfortable when it comes to RPing romance between two hetero characters, and would rather avoid this unless you can somehow convince me that our two characters are meant to be together, and even then, I can't fully guarantee that it will happen. Nothing against that pairing, I am just not too comfortable with writing it or making 3d hetero characters, i just cant do it, sorry :c, sorry. That being said, I am totally fine with a hetero character having a thing or something for one of my own! Just a heads up, they probably won't respond, but hey, you never know unless you try.
- I don't really have many triggers, and as long as it follows RPN rules, I'm fine with it! I am, however, very uncomfortable with homophobia, transphobia, etc, even if those are not your views and there is just a super rude character that absolutely must have those traits. Just please don't. I also won't stand for any racism, sexism (to all sexes - male, female, nonbinary, you name it) or an otherwise just blatantly rude attitude towards any ideology. I respect your opinion, and will be respectful when addressing you, and would appreciate it if the same is granted for me. Likewise, if you have any triggers, please tell me. Also, if something in the RP makes you uncomfortable, please talk to me, as I didn't mean to do it! I will change it ASAP please forgive me senpai, i luv u, i never meant to hurt chu
- No passive partners. Sorry. I want someone that will also bring stuff to the table, someone that won't just say 'yes' or 'no.' This probably won't happen, but I'm putting it here just in case. It takes two to dance, and I want us both to be invested in the RP, please.
- If you aren't feeling it anymore, tell me! I won't mind. We can try to make it more interesting, or even start over again, but sometimes it just doesn't work, and I understand if you feel that way. Please don't ghost on me, tell me. I will do the same, and will try to announce you if something comes up and I won't be able to answer (OOC or IC) for more than 3 days. If I've forgotten, feel free to poke me, sometimes I don't see the notifications.
- I can RP on pms, threads, or perhaps discord, if it's easier for you. I am most comfortable with pms, but can do all three. ^^
- No op characters, please, or damsels in distresses either (we all know that one character that refuses to help, or do anything other than get into trouble and then needing to be saved. Or the one character that can do anything, has everything, and is super intelligent as well.) Just make them 3D, give them flaws, something they strive for, etc. It's not that much fun otherwise, or realistic (pff, it might be fantasy, but some things still have to be realistic xD.) I would also appreciate if there be no godmodding (or Mary Sues, Gary Stus, or controlling of my characters; I won't control yours either.)
That's about it for the rules, sorry they are so long. congrats on getting this far xD Onto the more fun stuff! Like the title says, I would like to build a fantasy world with someone. I want us to create a world where our characters will have free reign to do whatever they wish. Of course, there will be a starting plot, or a prompt or something - haven't yet thought of something, and I'd like to come with it together - but I would be very happy if we don't stick to one plot the entire time, and if we come up with twists and turns.
