Hello there. I'm on summer break and would like to have some really good rps to do in my spare time. I decided not to make this all fancy, so I'm just going to list basic rules and then ideas. PM me or reply in this thread if you're interested!
Intro: I've been rping for about 10 years (on many different platforms). I can be literate or I can write just a few sentences (up to you). I can play all genders, and many roles at once. I'm very open-minded but I do not want to do the plot all on my own. I want it to be a collaborative thing. I will be able to reply faster than normal because of summer break, but just as an fyi, I do have three children and they do preoccupy my time quite a bit. I'm on EST.
Rules:
*At least a few sentences, but I'd like it to match my post-length.
*Third person only
*Contribute to the plot
*Communicate with me about any ideas or questions or if you're bored
*I don't mind cursing and I keep to RPN rules (fade to black scenes). I only have a couple of triggers and will tell you that if it seems like it will come up.
*I do fxf and fxm. I feel like a fish out of water with mxm. However, I will play a gender fluid character with a male.
I do almost all genres except for fandom.
Some plots:
Plots related to time-traveling:
*From past to present: Character A is from the past. They end up in the future somehow (we can flesh that out). They meet Character B. It turns out Character A's existence in the past is extremely important to Character B's existence (we can flesh that out), and this causes serious issues with them being together (in whatever way we decide).
*I've always loved you: Character A can time travel. He/she is currently a young adult (think 19-21). When they time travel, they do so in their minds though and don't age. They know they marry Character B in the future. But Character B is currently younger (about 14-15). Character B is in a completely different situation than when they meet later. The two of them meet prematurely and this causes issues for Character A because they are in love with Character B, but by being with them now it can jeopardize their future.
Fantasy plots--ALL these plots take place in a world with elves, dwarves, humans, etc; however, we can world build and add/delete certain species:
*The hero dies in this one: This is a dark plot in a fantasy in which the heroes failed to defeat the villain. We can flesh out the details of who the villain is (or there can be more than one), and how the heroes failed. Our characters are either children of heroes or the only few that survived, or the ones that failed (up to us). Something compels us (we can decide what) to try to fight again. This is a journey-type rp in which we attempt to save the world.
*The princess and the knight: In most plots, I don't have a preference but for this one alone, I have to play the princess (specific character). However, the knight can be male or female. The princess is a character who doesn't believe in love and refuses to marry. There's a lot of tension between her kingdom and another and right now there's an overthrow waiting to happen (though they aren't aware of this). They just think there's a civil war brewing. The princess becomes a commander in the military and the king assigns her an advisor (your character). The rest will play out in rp.
*The Wanderer: My character is a wanderer (male or female). They have been traveling alone for awhile. There's something very bad going on (we can work out the details). They are currently on a journey of some sort and meet your character (who somehow convinces my character to let them join them). Our characters end up joining together and fighting this evil, ultimately.
Sci-fi/fantasy
*A Different World: Your character ends up in my character's world. Your character can be from earth or any planet of your choosing. There is an epic journey attached to this rp involving multiple villains and saving some. It's a fun one.
I'll also do something modern, and you can also give me your idea.
