Good morning! I have three plot ideas that I'd like to offer if anyone's interested. All three are pretty dark, so there's a warning right off the bat. :)
These ideas can all have romance in them if you'd like and they fit any couple, may it be hetero or homosexual.
If you are interested, please let me know or ask any questions you may have below. If you respond to any of these ideas, please make sure that you are a literate in English and write at least two paragraphs. In case you'd like to talk more privately, I have discord as well!

1) A long story lost
It's the year 1912 and the Titanic, the unsinkable ship, is ready for departure. YC is a hard-working Sergeant on the ship and MC, an author, is one of the first-class guests. Things go well at the beginning, very much so. However, after a few days someone discovers a corpse in a first-class room. It was obviously murder. The guests are terrified. MC is intringued by the horrific story and tries to find out more about the man whereas he encounters YC. At first they have a hard time agreeing to looking for the murderer together, but they put their differences aside as a second corpse is found. Throughout their investigation they come across a rivalry between two families who both happen to be on board of the ship and the corpses just so happen to be a family member of each family. MC and YC move forward with success in their investigation, but suddenly, during the night, the ship collides with an ice berg. YC rushes to the captain in order to ask what they were going to do and the captain already knows: The ship is going to sink and they only have two and a half hours left.

2) Your friendly serial killer next door
X and Y have been working together for the Seattle Police Department for several years now. They have been assigned partners for the next serial killer case. A murder victim was discovered in an abandoned house and upon searching through the house, they found another three corpses. The victimology points towards middle-aged men with light hair and brown eyes. X and Y work hard on the case but while they are still at the start of their investigation, another man, murdered the same ways as the others, is discovered in his own house. Time is seemingly working against the duo. The detectives do everything within their power to figure out who the murder could be, but there are no evidents or clues. Late at night, while X has already gone home, Y decides to stay for a while longer. They comes across a long-closed case about a murder from almost thirty years ago. It was, to their genuine surprise, X's parents who had been murdered the same way as the victims of their current case. Y is confused as they hasn't known about this and recalls X telling them they were an orphan who didn't know their parents. Did X know about the murders? Was the killer after X now? Y investigates further behind X's back. Of course, X takes notice of this, though decides to give Y time to figure things out. Y discovers that the man who murdered X's parents, and also many more married couples, died in his sleep in jail just a few months before the recent serial murders started. That man's appearance fits into the victimonlogy aside from the fact that he was twice as old, but when he had killed X's parents, he had been as old as their current victims. A terrifying thought crosses Y's mind. Could it be that X is responsible for the murders? Is this an act of revenge on a dead man?

3) You are crazy, man
London, 1997. Y and X have been patients at the St. Mary's Psychiatry for two years for committing thirteen murders together in one night and having been deemed legally insane by the judge. They share a wicked secret. The people they murdered had been part of a cult which had been responsible for several brutal murders on pregnant women. Both of them are still in their twenties and have known each since childhood. Y did an apprenticeship as a computer scientist and X used to work as a librarian at the local state library. Both lost a family member due to the cult and don't regret what they have done. The psychiatry life is harsh but seemingly not as bad as prison would be. Y and X stay together most of the time and don't interact with the other patients a lot. One day, a new nurse starts working at St. Mary's. His name is Connor May and he seems oddly familiar to Y and X. The duo notices that Connor spends more and more time around them. Y swears that he has seen Connor before and together they sneak out of their rooms during the night and illegaly use the computer at the info booth. They find out that Connor was the only resident of the house that Y and X found the cult in who hadn't been at home that night and was seen as the only survivor of a "cruel killing spree". The duo finally realizes that Connor must know about what they have done and before they can even start imagening what Connor has in mind, they have to quickly go back to their rooms in order not to get caught. Y and X start worrying about Connor but don't make it obvious that they know anything. They play along. Unitl one day there is a glass shard in X's glass which they almost swallow. That is the moment they know: Connor is indeed trying to get rid of them silently. So they have to get rid of him first.
